The addition of surface acoustic wave(SAW)technologies to microfluidics has greatly advanced lab-on-a-chip applications due to their unique and powerful attributes,including high-precision manipulation,versatility,integrability,biocompatibility,contactless nature,and rapid ***,the development of SAW microfluidic devices is limited by complex and time-consuming micro/nanofabrication techniques and access to cleanroom facilities for multistep photolithography and vacuum-based *** simplify the fabrication of SAW microfluidic devices with customizable dimensions and functions,we utilized the additive manufacturing technique of aerosol jet *** successfully fabricated customized SAW microfluidic devices of varying materials,including silver nanowires,graphene,and poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)polystyrene sulfonate(PEdOT:PSS).To characterize and compare the acoustic actuation performance of these aerosol jet printed SAW microfluidic devices with their cleanroom-fabricated counterparts,the wave displacements and resonant frequencies of the different fabricated devices were directly measured through scanning laser doppler ***,to exhibit the capability of the aerosol jet printed devices for lab-on-a-chip applications,we successfully conducted acoustic streaming and particle concentration ***,we demonstrated a novel solution-based,direct-write,single-step,cleanroom-free additive manufacturing technique to rapidly develop SAW microfluidic devices that shows viability for applications in the fields of biology,chemistry,engineering,and medicine.

Sweet potato(Ipomoea batatas[l.]lam.)is a crucial staple and bioenergy *** abiotic stress tolerance holds significant importance in fully utilizing marginal *** processes regulate abiotic stress responses,yet the molecular regulatory mechanisms in sweet potato remain *** this study,a nAC(nAM,ATAF1/2,and CUC2)transcription factor,IbnAC087,was identified,which is commonly upregulated in salt-and drought-tolerant *** of IbnAC087 increased salt and drought tolerance by increasing jasmonic acid(JA)accumulation and activating reactive oxygen species(ROS)scavenging,whereas silencing this gene resulted in opposite ***-rich IbnAC087-OE(overexpression)plants exhibited more stomatal closure than wild-type(WT)and IbnAC087-Ri plants under naCl,polyethylene glycol,and methyl jasmonate ***087 functions as a nuclear transcriptional activator and directly activates the expression of the key JA biosynthesisrelated genes lipoxygenase(IblOX)and allene oxide synthase(IbAOS).Moreover,IbnAC087 physically interacted with a RInG-type E3 ubiquitin ligase nAC087-InTERACTInG E3 lIGASE(IbnIEl),negatively regulating salt and drought tolerance in sweet *** ubiquitinated IbnAC087 to promote 26S proteasome degradation,which weakened its activation on IblOX and *** findings provide insights into the mechanism underlying the IbnIEl-IbnAC087 module regulation of JA-dependent salt and drought response in sweet potato and provide candidate genes for improving abiotic stress tolerance in crops.

Mass transfer in heap leaching of weathered crust elution deposited rare earth ore with Al_(2)(SO_(4))_(3) solution

In order to increase efficiency and avoid nH^(4+)-n pollution in the leaching process of weathered crust elution-deposited rare earth ores,the mass transfer in heap leaching with Al_(2)(SO_(4))_(3) solution was simulated with column elution and experimentally *** results indicate that the leaching yield is also up to 99%for leaching with aluminum sulfate instead of ammonium *** optimal flow rate is 60 ml/h,the height equivalent to a theoretical plate(HETP)is 1.29 mm *** peak value position of RE^(3+)is 60 ml/h,Fe^(3+)is 100 ml/h,however,Al^(3+)is 150 ml/h,and the heap leaching process has kinetic separation effect.

Promethazine(PHZ)is used as a sedative in veterinary medicine,and its residue can threaten the health of *** electrochemical detection of PHZ is suitable method for application in the ***,the traditional electroanalysis is difficult to perform directly in meat samples due to matrix *** work integrates magnetic solid-phase extraction and differential pulse voltammetry for highly sensitive and selective determination of PHZ in beef and beef liver for the first ***_(2)O_(4)/graphene coated with C_(18)-functionalized mesoporous silica(MG@mSiO_(2)-C_(18))is synthesized as dispersed magnetic adsorbent to extract *** glassy carbon electrode modified with nitrogen-doped hollow carbon microspheres(HCM)attracts the MG@mSiO_(2)-C_(18)with PHZ,and directly detects the PHZ without elution ***@mSiO_(2)-C_(18)can separate PHZ to avoid the interference of impurities on following detection,and also concentrate PHZ on magnetic ***,the electrode modification with HCM can amplify the electrochemical signal of ***,the integrated PHZ determination method exhibits a wide linear range from 0.08μmol/l to 300μmol/l with a low limit of detection of 9.8 nmol/*** beef sample analysis presents excellent recovery,demonstrating that this protocol is promising for the rapid and onsite detection of PHZ in real meat samples。

The aim of this study is to investigate the impacts of the sampling strategy of landslide and non-landslide on the performance of landslide susceptibility assessment(lSA).The study area is the Feiyun catchment in Wenzhou City,Southeast *** types of landslides samples,combined with seven non-landslide sampling strategies,resulted in a total of 14 *** corresponding landslide susceptibility map(lSM)for each scenario was generated using the random forest *** receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve and statistical indicators were calculated and used to assess the impact of the dataset sampling *** results showed that higher accuracies were achieved when using the landslide core as positive samples,combined with non-landslide sampling from the very low zone or buffer *** results reveal the influence of landslide and non-landslide sampling strategies on the accuracy of lSA,which provides a reference for subsequent researchers aiming to obtain a more reasonable lSM.

Recent progress in single crystal perovskite X-ray detectors

Perovskites have attracted extensive attention as radiation detection material due to their long carrier diffusion length and lifetime, high absorption coefficient, and flexible manufacturing process. Compared with polycrystalline structures, single crystal perovskites improve the performance of optoelectronic devices due to their low defect state density, better photoelectric characteristics, and chemical ***, we review the recent progress of single crystal perovskite X-ray detectors. First, we briefly introduced the basic concepts, detection mechanisms, figure of merits of perovskite X-ray detectors, and the preparation methods of single crystal perovskites. Then, we summarized the significant advancements in single crystal perovskite X-ray detectors in recent times. Finally, we discussed the critical challenges and some practicable solutions for developing high-performance X-ray detectors.

Gut microbiota and circulating metabolite dysbiosis predate important pathological changes in glucose metabolic disorders;however,comprehensive studies on impaired glucose tolerance(IGT),a diabetes mellitus(dM)precursor,are ***,we perform metagenomic sequencing and metabolomics on 47 pairs of individuals with IGT and newly diagnosed dM and 46 controls with normal glucose tolerance(nGT);patients with IGT are followed up after 4 years for progression to *** of baseline data reveals significant differences in gut microbiota and serum metabolites among the IGT,dM,and nGT *** addition,13 types of gut microbiota and 17 types of circulating metabolites showed significant differences at baseline before IGT progressed to dM,including higher levels of Eggerthella unclassified,Coprobacillus unclassified,Clostridium ramosum,l-valine,l-norleucine,and l-isoleucine,and lower levels of Eubacterium eligens,Bacteroides faecis,lachnospiraceae bacterium 3_1_46FAA,Alistipes senegalensis,Megaspaera elsdenii,Clostridium perfringens,α-linolenic acid,10E,12Z-octadecadienoic acid,and dodecanoic acid.A random forest model based on differential intestinal microbiota and circulating metabolites can predict the progression from IGT to dM(AUC=0.87).These results suggest that microbiome and metabolome dysbiosis occur in individuals with IGT and have important predictive values and potential for intervention in preventing IGT from progressing to dM.

Solution-processed all-inorganic lead halide perovskite/layered double hydroxides superlattices

Quantum wells and superlattices are key building blocks in the semiconductor industry,normally fabricated using epitaxial growth techniques,such as vapor phase epitaxy,metalorganic chemical vapor deposition and molecular beam ***,these complicated preparation processes,as well as their high cost,limit their extensive *** is essential to develop a simple solution process for building ***,we demonstrate an ion exchange strategy for synthesizing an allinorganic superlattice cesium lead bromide/layered double hydroxides(CsPbBr_3/ldH)in *** room temperature,the perovskite ions diffuse into the interlayer of ldH and assemble into layered perovskite with various *** with traditional organic-inorganic hybrid perovskite superlattice,the all-inorganic perovskite superlattice CsPbBr_(3)/ldH has weak quantum confinement,which exhibits narrow emission line-widths of 20 nm,high quantum yields of 55%,and radiative lifetimes of several *** findings offer a new route to synthesize novel perovskite superlattices and enrich the perovskite supercrystal platform for electronics,photonics and optoelectronics devices.
