Diabetes mellitus(DM),an increasingly prevalent chronic metabolic disease,is characterised by prolonged hyperglycaemia,which leads to long-term health consequences.Although much effort has been put into understanding the pathogenesis of diabetic wounds,the underlying mechanisms remain unclear.The advent of single-cell RNA sequencing(scRNAseq)has revolutionised biological research by enabling the identification of novel cell types,the discovery of cellular markers,the analysis of gene expression patterns and the prediction of develop-mental trajectories.This powerful tool allows for an in-depth exploration of pathogenesis at the cellular and molecular levels.In this editorial,we focus on progenitor-based repair strategies for diabetic wound healing as revealed by scRNAseq and highlight the biological behaviour of various healing-related cells and the alteration of signalling pathways in the process of diabetic wound healing.ScRNAseq could not only deepen our understanding of the complex biology of diabetic wounds but also identify and validate new targets for inter-vention,offering hope for improved patient outcomes in the management of this challenging complication of DM.

An effective and reliable prediction of the remaining useful life(RUL)of a tool is important to a metal forming process because it can significantly reduce unexpected maintenance,avoid machine shutdowns and increase system stability.This study proposes a new data-driven approach to the RUL prediction for metal forming processes under multiple contact sliding conditions.The data-driven approach took advantage of bidirectional long short-term memory(BLSTM)and convolutional neural networks(CNN).A pre-trained lightweight CNN-based network,WearNet,was re-trained to classify the wear states of workpiece surfaces with a high accuracy,then the classification results were passed into a BLSTM-based regression model as inputs for RUL estimation.The experimental results demonstrated that this approach was able to predict the RUL values with a small error(below 5%)and a low root mean square error(RMSE)(around 1.5),which was more superior and robust than the other state-of-the-art methods.

Developing a localized and consistent model framework for climate loss and damage assessment is crucial for the policy-making of climate change mitigation and adaptation.This study introduces a comprehensive,multidisciplinary Integrated Assessment Model(IAM)framework for evaluating climate damage in China,utilizing BCC-SESM climate model and FUND sectoral climate damage model under the SSP2-RCPs scenario.Employing a bottom-up approach,the research estimates climate damage across eight major sectors,recalibrates sectoral climate damage functions and parameters for China,and elucidates distinctions among direct climate loss,market climate loss,and aggregate climate loss.The findings reveal that the total climate damage function for China follows a quadratic pattern in response to temperature rise.By 2050,the estimated climate damage is projected to be 5.4%,5.7%,and 8.2%of GDP under RCP2.6,RCP4.5,and RCP8.5,respectively.Additionally,both direct and market climate losses are projected to remain below 2%of GDP by 2050,while the aggregate climate loss could reach as high as 8.2%,which is predominantly attributed to non-market sectors.From a sectoral perspective,under the RCP8.5 scenario,human health damage constitutes the largest share(61.9%)of the total climate loss by 2050,followed by sea-level rise damage(18.6%).This study sheds lights on the adaptation policy that should attach importance to the non-market sectors,particularly focusing on human health and sea-level rise.

Immune checkpoint inhibitors are a promising strategy in the treatment of cancer, especially advanced types. However, not all patients are responsive to immune checkpoint inhibitors. The response rate depends on the immune microenvironment, tumor mutational burden (TMB), expression level of immune checkpoint proteins, and molecular subtypes of cancers. Along with the Cancer Genome Project, various open access databases, including The Cancer Genome Atlas and Gene Expression Omnibus, provide large volumes of data, which allow researchers to explore responsive or resistant biomarkers of immune checkpoint inhibitors? In this review, we introduced some methodologies on database selection, biomarker screening, current progress of immune checkpoint blockade in solid tumor treatment, possible mechanisms of drug resistance, strategies of overcoming resistance, and indications for immune checkpoint inhibitor therapy.

Gastrointestinal cancers are a public health problem that threatens the lives of human being. A good experimental model is a powerful tool to promote the uncovering pathogenesis and establish novel treatment methods. High-quality biomedical research requires experimental models to recapitulate the physiological and pathological states of their parental tissues as much as possible. Organoids are such experimental models. Organoids refer to small organlike cellular clusters formed by the expansion and passaging of living tissues in 3D culture medium in vitro.Organoids are highly similar to the original tissues in terms of cellular composition, cell functions, and genomic profiling. Organoids have many advantages, such as short preparation cycles, long-term storage based on cryopreservation, and reusability. In recent years, researchers carried out the establishment of organoids from gastrointestinal mucosa and cancer tissues, and accumulated valuable experiences. In order to promote effective usage and further development of organoid-related technologies in the research of gastrointestinal diseases, this study proposes a benchmark based on utilization of available experimental consumables and reagents, which are involved in the key steps such as collection and pretreatment of biospecimen, organoid construction, organoid cryopreservation and recovery, growth status evaluation, and organoid quality control. We believe that the standard for the construction and preservation of organoids derived from human gastrointestinal epithelium and cancer tissues can provide an important reference for the majority of scientific researchers.

党的二十大报告进一步提出能耗“双控”向碳排放总量和强度“双控”制度转变的新要求。目前,我国虽已完成碳排放权交易市场的试点工作,将碳排放权交易市场机制作为应对碳排放的重要举措,但在实施过程中仍呈现出减碳降排不理想的情况。在应对气候变化中,我国作为全球最大温室气体排放国、国际社会负责任的大国,为提高国家自主贡献力度,实现“双碳”目标,应采取更有力的措施予以应对。2024年2月国务院公布了《碳排放权交易管理暂行条例》,进一步规范碳排放权交易市场。但在制度设计上,不应囿于碳排放权交易制度或是碳税制度,而是应在以价格为基础的碳税和以数量为基础的碳排放权交易同时实施的复合机制下构建我国碳税制度。龙英锋:《“一带一路”国家碳减排复合机制构建》,《会计与经济研究》2019年第2期,第103页。以复合机制为视角借鉴国外碳税制度和碳排放权交易综合运用的经验,结合我国实际的国情,从不同维度对碳税制度的属性与功能定位、碳税制度构建应遵循的原则、我国碳税制度的具体架构等方面,探索我国碳税制度的构建路径,为双碳目标的实现提供法治保障。

Flexible and Waterproof 2D/1D/0D Construction of MXene-Based Nanocomposites for Electromagnetic Wave Absorption,EMI Shielding,and Photothermal Conversion

High-performance electromagnetic wave absorption and electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding materials with multifunctional characters have attracted extensive scientific and technological interest,but they remain a huge challenge.Here,we reported an electrostatic assembly approach for fabricating 2D/1D/0D construction of Ti_(3)C_(2)Tx/carbon nanotubes/Co nanoparticles(Ti_(3)C_(2)Tx/CNTs/Co)nanocomposites with an excellent electromagnetic wave absorption,EMI shielding efficiency,flexibility,hydrophobicity,and photother-mal conversion performance.As expected,a strong reflection loss of-85.8 dB and an ultrathin thickness of 1.4 mm were achieved.Mean-while,the high EMI shielding efficiency reached 110.1 dB.The excel-lent electromagnetic wave absorption and shielding performances were originated from the charge carriers,electric/magnetic dipole polariza-tion,interfacial polarization,natural resonance,and multiple internal reflections.Moreover,a thin layer of polydimethylsiloxane rendered the hydrophilic hierarchical Ti_(3)C_(2)Tx/CNTs/Co hydrophobic,which can prevent the degradation/oxidation of the MXene in high humidity condition.Interestingly,the Ti_(3)C_(2)Tx/CNTs/Co film exhibited a remark-able photothermal conversion performance with high thermal cycle stability and tenability.Thus,the multifunctional Ti_(3)C_(2)Tx/CNTs/Co nanocomposites possessing a unique blend of outstanding electromagnetic wave absorption and EMI shielding,light-driven heating perfor-mance,and flexible water-resistant features were highly promising for the next-generation intelligent electromagnetic attenuation system.

Electromagnetic pollution has been causing a series of problems in people’s life,and electromagnetic absorbers with lightweight and broad absorbing bandwidth properties are widely desired.In this work,novel sandwich-like 2D laminated Fe&TiO2 nanoparticles@C nanocomposites were rationally designed and successfully developed from the MXene–MOFs hybrids.The formation of Fe and rutile-TiO2 nanoparticles sandwiched by the two-dimensional carbon nanosheets provided strong electromagnetic energy attenuation and good impedance matching for electromagnetic wave(EMW)absorption.As expected,the nanocomposites achieved a broad effective absorption bandwidth of 6.5 GHz at a thickness of only 1.6 mm and the minimum reflection loss(RL)value of−51.8 dB at 6.6 GHz with a thickness of 3 mm.This work not only provides a good design and fabricating concept for the laminated metal and functional nanoparticles@C nanocomposites with good EMW absorption,but also offers an important guideline to fabricate various two-dimensional nanocomposites derived from the MXene precursors.

目的采用GEO数据库、网络药理学和分子对接探讨扶脾柔肝颗粒(FRG)治疗肝细胞癌(HCC)的物质基础及其作用机制。方法首先，通过中药系统药理学数据库和分析平台(TCMSP)、GEO数据库获取FRG治疗HCC的活性成分与潜在靶点。其次，使用Cytoscape软件构建“中药-活性成分-潜在靶点”网络，利用Network Analyzer插件筛选关键成分。采用String数据库和Cytoscape软件构建潜在靶点蛋白质互作(PPI)网络，利用CytoNCA插件筛选核心靶点。使用Metascape数据库对潜在靶点进行京都基因与基因组百科全书(KEGG)通路富集分析和基因本体论(GO)功能富集分析。最后，采用AutoDock Vina软件将关键成分与核心靶蛋白进行分子对接。通过KM Plotter数据库分析核心靶基因对HCC患者总生存率(OS)的影响。结果预测结果显示FRG与HCC有63个共同靶点。“中药-活性成分-潜在靶点”网络分析显示关键成分为山奈酚、β-谷甾醇、汉黄芩素等；PPI网络分析显示核心靶点为雌激素受体(ESR)1、雄激素受体(AR)、前列腺素G/H合酶(PTGS)2、原癌基因MYC、原癌基因FOS。KEGG富集分析主要涉及癌症通路、p53通路、白细胞介素(IL)-17通路和缺氧诱导因子(HIF)-1通路等。分子对接结果显示关键成分与核心靶点之间具有较强的亲和力。核心基因的OS分析结果显示，与肝癌中ESR1基因高表达比较，ESR1低表达的OS明显更低(P<0.05)。结论 FRG通过多成分、多靶点和多途径对HCC发挥治疗作用，为下一步实验研究提供理论依据。

榫卯:一种可组合的定制化内存分配框架

动态内存分配器是现代应用程序重要组成部分,它负责管理空闲内存并处理用户内存请求.现代通用动态内存分配器能够提供较为平衡的性能与内存利用率,但考虑到不同应用场景的内存使用情况和优化目标不同,使用通用内存分配器并非最优解.针对应用场景定制的专用内存分配器通常能够更好地满足系统需要,然而编写专用内存分配器较为费时,也容易出错.开发者通常使用内存分配框架搭建专用动态内存分配器.然而,现有的内存分配框架存在抽象能力较差,组合性与定制性不足的问题.为此,从函数式编程视角审视动态内存分配过程,基于函数可组合性提出了一种可组合的定制化动态内存分配器框架榫卯.榫卯框架将系统内存分配抽象为多个互不耦合的内存分配层级函数的组合,这些层级函数能够扩展出策略槽,以提供更高的定制性和组合性.榫卯框架基于标准C实现,依赖C预处理器的元编程特性实现层级函数组合的零性能开销.开发者能够通过组合与定制分配器的层级函数,快速构建出适合应用场景的内存分配器.为了证明榫卯框架的有效性,使用榫卯框架构建了3种不同的内存分配器实例:tlsfcc,hslab与wfslab,其中tlsfcc针对多核嵌入式应用场景,通过替换同步策略优化并发吞吐率;hslab是核心感知的slab式分配器,通过定制线程缓存优化在异构硬件的性能;wfslab是低延迟的无等待/无锁分配器.为了评估这3种内存分配器实例,通过运行基准测试对比现有内存分配器.实验分别在8核x86/64平台和8核异构aarch64嵌入式平台进行.实验表明tlsfcc与原始tlsf分配器相比,在上述两个平台上分别取得了平均1.76和1.59的加速比;对比hslab与类似架构的tcmalloc,它在两个平台的平均执行时间仅为tcmalloc的69.6%和85.0%;wfslab则取得了参与实验对比的内存分配器中最小的最差情况内存请求延迟,其中包括目前最先进的无锁内存分配器mimalloc和snmalloc.
