Liquid crystal-based optical aptasensor for the sensitive and selective detection of Gram-negative bacteria

The sensitive and differential detection of Gram-negative bacteria is essential in food processing,environmental monitoring,and the daily chemical ***,we propose and validate a liquid crystal(LC)-based aptasensor for the ultrasensitive detection of Escherichia coli(***),a model of Gram-negative *** nematic liquid crystal of 4-cyano-4’-pentylbiphenyl(5 CB) molecules can be orderly or disorderly arranged at the LC-aqueous interface via different stimuli,causing changes in optical texture due to *** schlieren texture is observed when a mixture solution of aptamer and hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide(CTAB) is dripped onto the segmented LC films on a copper *** specific binding of aptamers with target bacteria biomarkers liberates the CTAB molecules,which then self-assemble at the LC-aqueous interface to induce the vertical alignment of *** optical transition from bright to dark is therefore achieved via the LC molecular orientation and serves as an *** the prominent affinity and specificity of the aptamer,the established sensitive and selective *** assay shows an ultralow detection limit of 27 cfu/*** prepared aptasensor can also be applied for the sensitive and selective determination of *** in fruit juice,soft drink,and cosmetic products,and shows great promise for the on-site detection of Gram-negative bacteria with high sensitivity and specificity for environmental monitoring,food safety assessment,and household chemical inspection.

Diabetic wounds,characterized by prolonged inflammation and impaired vascularization,are a serious complication of *** study aimed to design a gelatin methacrylate(GelMA)hydrogel for the sustained release of netrin-1 and evaluate its potential as a scaffold to promote diabetic wound *** results showed that netrin-1 was highly expressed during the inflammation and proliferation phases of normal wounds,whereas it synchronously exhibited aberrantly low expression in diabetic *** of netrin-1 inhibited normal wound healing,and the topical application of netrin-1 accelerated diabetic wound *** studies demonstrated that netrin-1 regulated macrophage heterogeneity via the A2bR/STAT/PPARγsignaling pathway and promoted the function of endothelial cells,thus accelerating diabetic wound *** data suggest that netrin-1 is a potential therapeutic target for diabetic wounds.

Background:The objective of this study was to evaluate the clinical efficacy of thiamine and vitamin C with or without hydrocortisone coadministration on the treatment of sepsis and septic ***:MEDLINE,EMBASE and CENTRAL databases were searched for randomized controlled trials(RCTs)that made a comparative study between the combination therapy of vitamin C and thiamine with or without hydrocortisone and the administration of placebo in patients with sepsis or septic *** reviewers independently performed study selection,data extraction and quality *** short-term mortality and change in the sequential organ failure assessment(SOFA)score from baseline(delta SOFA)were set as the primary *** endpoints included intensive care unit(ICU)mortality,new onset of acute kidney injury,total adverse events,ICU and hospital length of stay,duration of vasopressor usage and ventilator-free ***,trial sequential analysis was conducted for primary ***:Eight RCTs with 1428 patients were included in the current *** results showed no significant reduction of short-term mortality in sepsis and septic shock patients who received combination therapy of vitamin C and thiamine with or without hydrocortisone compared to those with placebo{risk ratio(RR),1.02[95%confidence interval(CI),0.87 to 1.20],p=0.81,I2=0%;risk difference(RD),0[95%CI,−0.04 to 0.05]}.Nevertheless,the combination therapy was associated with significant reduction in SOFA score[mean difference(MD),−0.63,(95%CI,−0.96 to−0.29,p<0.001,I^(2)=0%]and vasopressors duration(MD,−22.11[95%CI,−30.46 to−13.77],p<0.001,I2=6%).Additionally,there were no statistical differences in the pooled estimate for other ***:In the current meta-analysis,the combination therapy of vitamin C and thiamine,with or without hydrocortisone had no impact on short-term mortality when compared with placebo,but was associated with significant reduction in SOFA score among patie

Primary Sjogren’s Syndrome(pSS) is considered a B cell-mediated disease,yet the precise role of B cells in the pathogenesis is not fully ***10 is highly expressed in B cells,indicating that TLR10 probably plays a vital role in the progression of B cell-related ***,the biology of TLR10 in pSS is less ***,we detected the expression of TLR10 in peripheral B cell subsets from pSS patients and healthy controls(HCs) and further analyzed the correlations of TLR10 expression with disease *** observed that TLR10 expression in peripheral CD19B cells and CD19CD27lgDswitched memory B cells was significantly increased in the low activity pSS patients as compared with the HCs and high activity pSS ***10 expression in CD19B cells and switched memory B cells in pSS patients was significantly negatively correlated with anti-SSA antibody and BAFF ***,the TLR10 high-expressed pSS patients presented with decreased percentage of switched memory B cells and very low proportion of high-activity pSS patients,as compared with the TLR10 low-expressed pSS *** study concluded that TLR10 expression in CD19B cells and switched memory B is negatively correlated with pSS disease activity and TLR10 might suppress pSS progression via inhibiting B cell *** results should contribute to the diagnosis and treatment of pSS.

目的探究阿奇霉素联合不同途径糖皮质激素对慢性阻塞性肺疾病急性加重(AECOPD)患者肺功能改善效果。方法选取我院于2016年9月~2018年6月收治的90例AECOPD患者为研究对象,随机分为三组,对照组采用常规治疗的基础上加用阿奇霉素,联合雾化组在常规治疗基础上给予阿奇霉素联合雾化吸入糖皮质激素(布地奈德混悬液),联合全身组患者在常规治疗的基础上给予阿奇霉素联合全身使用糖皮质激素(甲波尼龙),比较三组患者治疗前后的肺功能改善效果以及不良反应发生情况。结果三组患者治疗一周后FEV1、FEV1/FVC及PEF值均高于治疗前(P <0.05),但联合雾化组和联合全身组患者治疗前后FEV1、FEV1/FVC及PEF差值明显高于对照组,差异具有统计学意义(P <0.05),三组患者治疗后PaO2明显升高,PaCO2水平较治疗前明显降低(P <0.05),治疗前后PaO2差值、PaCO2差值联合雾化组以及联合全身组明显高于对照组(P <0.05),联合全身组呕吐、低钾血症、血糖异常、腹部不适人数明显多于对照组以及联合雾化组,差异有统计学意义(P <0.05)。结论阿奇霉素联合糖皮质激素可有效改善AECOPD患者肺功能,雾化吸入糖皮质激素与全身使用糖皮质激素改善AECOPD患者肺功能疗效一致,但雾化吸入可降低不良反应的发生率。

金丝桃素(Hypericin)(C_(30)H_(16)O_8)具有活跃的电子共轭体系,有强烈吸收紫外线作用,遇光易氧化,对热不稳定。本研究用80%乙醇为溶剂,提取出贯叶连翘中的蒽衍生物,再用S898型吸附树脂,结合硅胶层析法把金丝桃素分离出来,得到含量为4.26%的金丝桃素产品。并对金丝桃素提取过程中的浸提溶剂、浸提时间和避光性质进行初步探讨。
