Constructing a functional hybrid coating appears to be a promising strategy for addressing the poor corrosion resistance and insufficient endothelialization of Mg-based ***,the steps for preparing composite coatings are usually complicated and ***,a novel composite coating,composed of bioactive magnesium thioctic acid(MTA)layer formed by deposition and corrosion-resistant magnesium hydroxide(Mg(OH)_(2))layer grown in situ,is simply fabricated on ZE21B alloys via one-step *** electron microscopy(SEM)shows that the electrodeposited coating has a compact and uniform *** the high adhesion of the MTA/Mg(OH)_(2)hybrid coating is also confirmed by the micro-scratch *** test,scanning kelvin probe(SKP),and hydrogen evolution measurement indicate that the hybrid coating effectively reduces the degradation rate of Mg *** experiment and cell culture trial detect that the composite coating is of fine ***,the preparation mechanism of MTA/Mg(OH)_(2)hybrid coatings is discussed and *** coating shows a great potential application for cardiovascular stents.

This study explored protective effects of Houshiheisan and its compound prescription of wind-dispelling drugs and deficiency-nourishing drugs on cerebral ischemia in terms of astrocyte activation and inflammatory factor *** suggested that Houshiheisan lessened neuronal degeneration in the corpus striatum on the ischemic side of rats following cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury,contributed to astrocyte activation and glial fibrillary acidic protein expression in the corpus striatum and decreased the levels of interleukin-2,interleukin-6, interleukin-1βand tumor necrosis factor-α.Factor analysis results demonstrated that deficiency-nourishing drugs were more beneficial in protecting neurons and upregulating glial fibrillary acidic protein expression than wind-dispelling ***,wind-dispelling drugs were more effective in increasing the number of glial fibrillary acidic protein-positive cells and reducing inflammatory factor expression than deficiency-nourishing *** indicate that different ingredients of Houshiheisan suppress cerebral ischemic injury by promoting astrocyte activation and diminishing inflammatory factor expression.

Superhydrophobic coatings have been considerably used in corrosion and its protection of metallic *** the comprehensive performance(hydrophobicity,bonding strength,and corrosion resistance,etc.)of the top coating may be highly dependent on the physical and chemical properties of the primer or under ***,an integrated superhydrophobic polypropylene(PP)coating was fabricated on the micro-arc oxidized Mg substrate via one-step *** morphologies and chemical compositions of the composite coating were examined through Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR),X-ray diffraction(XRD),and field-emission scanning electron microscopy(FESEM)together with X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).The surface wettability of the coating was determined by contact angle and sliding *** corrosion-resistant performance was evaluated via electrochemical and immersion *** results showed that the hybrid coating possessed micron-scaled granular structure on the surface with a high water contact angle of 167.2±0.8°and a low water sliding angle of 2.7±0.5°.The corrosion resistance of superhydrophobic coating was obviously enhanced with a low corrosion current density of 8.76×10^(−9)A/cm^(2),and the coating still maintained integrity after 248 h of immersion in 3.5wt%NaCl aqueous *** MAO coating provides better adhesion of PP to the ***,the superhydrophobic coating exhibited superior bonding strength,corrosion resistance and durability.

To enhance durability and adhesion of superhydrophobic surface,an integrated superhydrophobic calcium myristate(Ca[CH3(CH2)12COO]2)coating with excellent corrosion resistance was fabricated on AZ31 magnesium(Mg)alloy via one-step electrodeposition ***-emission scanning electron microscopy,Fourier transform infrared spectrometry and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy as well as X-ray diff raction were employed to investigate the surface characteristics(morphology,composition and structure)of the *** of the coating was evaluated by means of contact and sliding ***,potentiodynamic polarization,electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and hydrogen evolution tests were conducted to characterize the corrosion *** indicated that the coating exhibited super-hydrophobicity with large static water contact angle(CA)and small sliding angle of 155.2°±1.5°and 6.0°±0.5°,respectively,owing to spherical rough structure and low surface energy(7.01 mJ m^(-2)).The average hydrogen evolution rate(HERa)and corrosion current density(icorr)of the coated sample were 5.3μL cm^(-2)h^(-1) and 5.60×10^(-9)A cm^(-2),about one and four orders of magnitude lower than that of AZ31 substrate,respectively,implying the excellent corrosion *** CA of the coating remained 155.6°±0.9°after soaking for 13 days,showing the super-hydrophobicity and stability of the ***,the large critical load(5004 mN)for the coating designated the outstanding adhesion to the substrate by nano-scratch test.

Phase Transformation and Magnetic Properties of Mechanically Alloyed PrCo5-based Magnets

PrCo5-based nanograin Pr=CO100-x （x=14-22） alloys with high coercivity were synthesized by mechanical alloying and subsequent annealing. The crystallization, phase components and magnetic properties of the alloys were investigated systematically. The main phase of the alloy for x=14 is Pr2CO17 with rhombohedral Th2Zn17-type. The amount of the Pr2CO17 phase decreases with increasing Pr content, and a nearly single phase PrCo5 with hexagonal CaCu5-type is formed in Pr18Co81 alloy. Further increase in the Pr content leads to the formation of another magnetically hard Pr2Co7 phase with its Curie temperature about 350℃. Remanences decrease monotonously with increasing Pr content, whereas the coercivities increase, reaching a maximum of 2040 kA/m （25.6 kOe） in Pr19CO81 powders milled for 5 h and annealed at 973 K for 2 min, and then decrease for higher Pr content. The high coercivity is attributed to the high anisotropy field of the PrCo~ phase and its nanoscale grain size.

CuInS_(2)quantum-dot(CIS QD)-modified g-C_(3)N_(4)(CN)catalysts(CIS/CN)were prepared with the aid of an in-situ growth *** as-obtained photocatalysts were explored by measuring their crystallinity,surface morphology,binding energy and light absorption *** photocatalytic efficiency of the pho-tocatalysts was evaluated through photocatalytic water splitting for hydrogen production and tetracycline(TC)antibiotic degradation under the simulated solar light and visible light *** optimized sample(10CIS/CN)showed the best photocatalytic activity:producing 102.4μmol g^(-1)h^(-1)of hydrogen in 1 h,or degrading 52.16%of TC in 120 min,which were respectively 48 or 3.4 times higher than the photocatalytic activity of CN *** enhancement in the efficiency of the composite system was prin-cipally accredited to the enlargement of light absorption,the more effective in charge transfer and the dropping of the charge carrier pair recombination through a formed S-scheme heterojunctional *** work is an effort to adjust CN-based polysulfide QD for speedy *** enriched photo-catalytic activity grants a new sense for adjusting the optical properties of CN.

Magnesium(Mg)and its alloys have been widely used in a variety of industrial fields,however,the high corrosion rate and surface contamination restrict their *** this study,a corrosion-resistant polymer coating with self-cleaning properties on Mg alloy AZ31 was successfully fabricated via a pretreatment of amino-silane(poly(3-aminopropyl)trimethoxysilane,PAPTMS)and subsequently covered with a polypropylene(PP)*** morphology and chemical compositions were examined using field-emission scanning electron microscopy(FE-SEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD),and Fourier transform infrared spectrophotometry(FT-IR)and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)as *** angle was measured to determine hydrophobicity of the composite *** permeability of the coatings was evaluated through electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS).Corrosion resistance of the coating was investigated using electrochemical and hydrogen evolution *** indicated that PAPTMS/PP coatings possessed a micrometer-scaled porous spherical microstructure,and super-hydrophobicity with high water contact angle(162±3.4°)and low sliding angle(5±0.6°)due to the low surface energy(10.38 mJ/m2).Moreover,the coating exhibited a smaller water diffusion coefficient(8.12×10-10 cm2/s)and water uptake volume fraction(24.5%),demonstrating low water permeability and good physical barrier *** a result,the corrosion current density of PAPTMS/PP coating exhibited approximately three orders of magnitude lower than that of the AZ31 substrate,suggesting excellent corrosion ***,corrosion-resistant mechanism of the hybrid coating was proposed.

Visible Light Indoor Positioning System Based on Pisarenko Harmonic Decomposition and Neural Network

Visible-light indoor positioning is a new generation of positioning technology that can be integrated into smart lighting and optical communications. The current received signal strength(RSS)-based visible-light positioning systems struggle to overcome the interferences of background and indoor-reflected noise. Meanwhile, when ensuring the lighting, it is impossible to use the superposition of each light source to accurately distinguish light source information; furthermore, it is difficult to achieve accurate positioning in complex indoor environments. This study proposes an indoor positioning method based on a combination of power spectral density detection and a neural network. The system integrates the mechanism for visible-light radiation detection with RSS theory, to build a back propagation neural network model fitting for multiple reflection channels. Different frequency signals are loaded to different light sources at the beacon end, and the characteristic frequency and power vectors are obtained at the location end using the Pisarenko harmonic decomposition method. Then, a complete fingerprint database is established to train the neural network model and conduct location tests. Finally, the location effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is verified via actual positioning experiments. The simulation results show that, when four groups of sinusoidal waves with different frequencies are superimposed with white noise, the maximum frequency error is 0.104 Hz and the maximum power error is 0.0362 W. For the measured positioning stage, a 0.8 m × 0.8 m × 0.8 m solid wood stereoscopic positioning model is constructed, and the average error is 4.28 cm. This study provides an effective method for separating multi-source signal energies, overcoming background noise, and improving indoor visible-light positioning accuracies.

In vitro degradation of pure magnesium-the synergetic influences of glucose and albumin

The biocorrosion of magnesium in the external physiological environment is still difficult to accurately evaluate the degradation behavior in vivo,particularly,in the microenvironment of the patients with hyperglycemia or ***,we explored the synergistic effects of glucose and protein on the biodegradation of pure magnesium,so as to have a deeper understanding the mechanism of the degradation in *** surface morphology and corrosion product composition of pure magnesium were investigated using SEM,EDS,FTIR,XRD and *** effect of glucose and albumin on the degradation rate of pure magnesium was investigated via electrochemical and immersion *** adsorption of glucose and albumin on the sample surface was observed using fluorescence *** results showed that the presence of 2 g/L glucose changed the micromorphology of corrosion products on the magnesium surface by reacting with metal cations,thus inhibiting the corrosion of pure *** formed a barrier layer to protect the magnesium at early stage of *** chelation reaction between protein and magnesium surface might accelerate the degradation at later *** may be a critical glucose(albumin)*** of pure magnesium was inhibited at low concentrations and promoted at high *** synergistic effect of glucose and protein restrained the adsorption of aggressive chloride ions to a certain extent,and thus inhibited the degradation of pure magnesium ***,XPS results indicated that glucose promoted the adsorption of protein on the sample surface.
