Mammalian hair,as a key feature related to endothermy,physical protection,and camouflage,has a long geohistorical record that dates back even to the ***,the limited information on the taphonomy of hair hinders the understanding of its evolutionary significance in deep *** address this,we conducted taphonomic experiments to simulate the transformation process of black *** changes in the morphological structure,microscopic characteristics,and chemical composition of hair during the simulated fossilization process were documented by scanning electron microscopy,Fourier transform infrared(FTIR)spectroscopy,and Raman *** results revealed that damage to the morphology of hair began at a mild temperature(150–175℃),and hair transformed into a fluid-like mass at a relatively high temperature(200℃).In addition,the morphological structure of melanosomes had relatively greater preservation potential than keratins did,and the microscopic features of melanosomes were persistently *** Raman and FTIR spectra indicated that the characteristic melanin and keratin peaks changed as the temperature *** the chemical signals were not lost completely,the variations in the characteristic amide bands in the FTIR spectra indicate that the keratins severely degraded at high temperatures(>200℃),whereas the characteristic melanin bands in the Raman spectra suggested that melanin signals were still recognizable,even at high temperatures(>200℃).These results were confirmed by principal component analysis(PCA)and principal component analysis linear discriminant analysis(PCA–LDA).In addition,the Raman signals of all the samples in the simulated experiments were distinguished from the signals of common geological carbonaceous materials(humic acid),which suggested that Raman spectroscopy can be used to detect melanin in fossils.

Programmed cell death(PCD)is essential for animal and plant ***,the knowledge of the mechanism regulating PCD in plants remains limited,largely due to technical ***,we determined that the protease NtCP14 could trigger PCD in the embryonic suspensor of tobacco(Nicotiana tabacum),providing a unique opportunity to overcome the limitations by creating synchronous two-celled proembryos with ongoing PCD for transcriptome analysis and regulatory factor ***,we performed comparative transcriptome analysis using isolated two-celled proembryos and explored the potential regulatory network underlying NtCP14-triggered *** phytohormones,calcium,microtubule organization,the immunity system,soluble N-ethylmaleimide-sensitive factor attachment protein receptor proteins,long non-coding RNAs and alternative splicing are addressed as critical factors involved in the early stage of suspensor *** thought to play crucial roles in suspensor PCD are ***,decreased antioxidant gene expression and increased reactive oxygen species(ROS)levels during suspensor PCD suggest a critical role for ROS signaling in the initiation of NtCP14-triggered ***,five genes in the regulatory network are recommended as immediate downstream elements of ***,our analysis outlines an overall molecular network underlying protease-triggered PCD and provides a reliable database and valuable clues for targeting elements immediately downstream of NtCP14 to overcome technical bottlenecks and gain deep insight into the molecular mechanism regulating plant PCD.

Thermal management system is highly desirable to guarantee the performance and thermal safety of lithium-ion batteries,but it reduces the energy density of battery modules and even is unable to provide highly effective ***,a thermal management function integrated material is presented based on high-temperature resistant aerogel and phase change material and is applied at both charge–discharge process and thermal runaway *** this sandwich structure Paraffin@SiC nanowire/Aerogel sheet (denoted as PA@SAS) system,SiC nanowires endow the middle aerogel sheet (SAS) a dual nano-network *** enhanced mechanical properties of SAS were studied by compressive tests and dynamic mechanical ***,the thermal conductivity of SAS at 600°C is only 0.042 W/(m K).The surface phase change material layers facilitate temperature uniformity of batteries (surface temperature difference less than 1.82°C) through latent ***,a large-format battery module with four 58 Ah LiNi0.5Co0.2Mn0.3O2LIBs was ***@SAS successfully prevents thermal runaway propagation,yielding a temperature gap of 602°C through the 2 mm-thick cross ***@SAS also exhibits excellent performance in other safety issues such as temperature rise rate,flame heat flux,*** lightweight property and effective insulation performance achieves significant safety enhancement with mass and volume energy density reduction of only 0.79%and 5.4%,*** originality of the present research stems from the micro and macro structure design of the proposed thermal management material and the combination of intrinsic advantages of every *** work provides a reliable design of achieving the integration of thermal management functions into an aerogel composite and improves the thermal safety of lithium-ion batteries.

Aluminum is the main impurity of the weathered crust elution-deposited rare earth ore(WCED-REO).Efficient leaching of rare earths and low leaching of aluminum are of great importance for the leaching of the *** effects of pH,MgSO_(4) concentration and Al^(3+)concentration of the leaching agent solution on the column leaching behaviors of WCED-REO using magnesium sulfate were *** data show that controlling the MgSO_(4) concentration to 0.15 mol/L,pH of the leaching agent solution to 2,the leaching amount of aluminum from the rare earth ore gradually decreases with the increase of Al^(3+)concentration in the leaching agent solution,indicating that Al^(3+)in the leaching agent solution may act as leaching agent to participate in the ion exchange of RE3+,but the leaching amounts of rare earths change insignificantly as the Al^(3+)concentration is *** the MgSO_(4) concentration is beneficial to the leaching of aluminum,and when the Al^(3+)concentration is 0.04 mol/L(Al accumulation),the amount of Al^(3+)leached from the rare earth ore increased gradually with increasing the MgSO_(4) *** pH of the leaching agent solution has a significant influence on the leaching of aluminum in the rare earth ore,and the leaching amount of aluminum from the rare earth ore increases gradually with decreasing the *** the Al^(3+)conce ntration is 0.04 mol/L(Al accumulation)and the pH of the leaching agent solution is above 2.0,the aluminum in the leaching agent solution can be back-adsorbed onto the rare earth ore,and the amount of the back-adsorbed Al^(3+)increases with increasing the pH of the leaching agent *** injection rate of the leaching agent solution has slight effect on the leaching behavior of rare earths and *** summary,leaching of Al^(3+)and consumption of MgSO_(4) can be reduced by regulating the accumulation of aluminum,MgSO_(4) concentration and pH.

Over the years,the high magnetic induction of industrial Mn-added electrical steel is assumed to be the enhancement of{100}texture derived from its austenite-ferrite phase transformation during hot rolling(phase transformation(PT)method).However,it is still undetermined without straightforward experimental *** reason for{100}texture improvement of Mn-added electrical steel is experimentally confirmed due to the recrystallization induced by the austenite-ferrite phase transformation during hot ***,a more promising methodology to further improve{100}texture and formability of hot-rolled electrical steel is promoted by the control of hot rolling deformation condition(shear deformation(SD)method).The results show that the nucleation mechanisms of{100}oriented recrystallized grains are different in the samples by SD and PT methods,which are in-depth shear deformation and austenite-ferrite phase transformation,*** this case,coarse{100}oriented recrystallized grains and low residual stress are obtained in the sample by SD method,which is responsible for its superior{100}texture and *** contrast,the sample by PT method forms fine recrystallized grains with random orientations and accumulates severe residual stress.

Wireless ultraviolet (UV) has strong scattering characteristics and can communicate through non-direct *** UV signals are transmitted in the atmosphere,they are affected by the absorption and scattering effects of atmospheric particles and atmospheric turbulence,resulting in attenuation of UV signal energy and reduced reliability of the communication *** paper focuses on the channel model of UV non-direct-view single scattering communication,and simulates and analyzes the communication characteristics of UV light in atmospheric turbulence and mixed aerosol environment under horizontal,vertical and oblique range communication *** results show that at equal relative humidity,the wireless UV non-directive scattering communication performance for vertical communication scenarios is more affected by the mixed aerosol environment and the communication performance is worse.

以莲子心水提液为研究对象,研究不同的膜组件对莲子心水提液中蛋白质、糖类和黄酮类化合物的分级截留率,筛选适合莲子心中的活性成分分离的膜组合方式。结果显示:(1)莲子心水提液中的主要活性成分为糖类、蛋白质及黄酮类化合物,以莲子心干重计,其含量分别为7.85%,1.41%,1.42%。(2)对莲子心水提液具有较好分离效果的膜组合方式为PS-10超滤膜+HPS-3超滤膜组合。PS-10超滤膜对莲子心水提液中蛋白质的截留率为74.65%,对黄酮类化合物和糖类的截留率分别为9.09%和15.45%;HPS-3超滤膜对PS-10超滤膜透过液中糖类的截留率为69.46%,而对黄酮类化合物的透过率仅为18.67%。PS-10超滤膜与HPS-3超滤膜组合方式可用于莲子心水提液中的功能活性成分的分离,分离效率较高。该分离技术能够为天然产物的研究与应用提供技术支持。

Hu sheep is an indigenous breed from the Taihu Lake Plain in China,known for its high *** Hu sheep belong to the Mongolian group,their demographic history and genetic architecture remain ***,we analyze 697 sheep genomes from representatives of Mongolian sheep *** study suggests that the ancestral Hu sheep first separated from the Mongolian group approximately 3000 years *** Hu sheep migrated from the north and flourished in the Taihu Lake Plain around 1000 years ago,they developed a unique genetic foundation and phenotypic characteristics,which are evident in the genomic footprints of selective sweeps and structural variation *** associated with reproductive traits(BMPR1B and TDRD10)and horn phenotype(RXFP2)exhibit notable selective sweeps in the genome of Hu sheep.A genome-wide association analysis reveals that structural variations at LOC101110773,MAST2,and ZNF385B may significantly impact polledness,teat number,and early growth in Hu sheep,*** study offers insights into the evolutionary history of Hu sheep and may serve as a valuable genetic resource to enhance the understanding of complex traits in Hu sheep.
