Design and test of the plant-correcting reel for harvesting lodging garlic plants

Single-molecule magnets（SMMs） are a kind of nanosized magnetic materials that are capable of storing massive bytes of *** coupling the spin centers in a proper manner is a usual approach to promote the working temperature（or blocking temperature） for *** delocalized radicals have been widely employed to accomplish this ***,we show a new manner by using weak but multiple B–Hδ-···Dy3+inverse hydrogen bonding（IHB） interactions to control the magnetic couplings in a series of dimeric dysprosiacaborane *** approach leads to a record high TB100sof 10 K among non-radical bridged dimeric SMMs,which is mainly ascribed to strong ferromagnetic coupling(4.38 cm-1) and the proper alignment of the magnetic principle axes of the adjacent dysprosium（Ⅲ） *** verifying by theoretical calculations,these results demonstrate that IHB interactions can be used to construct strong axial ferromagnetic coupling and enhancing magnetic blocking temperature for SMMs.

Birds exhibit a high degree of migratory diversity,which is influenced by various ecological factors and life history *** studies on tropical bird migration,of which research is scarce,and comparing it with temperate birds can enhance our understanding of bird migration behaviour and its underlying *** this study,we explored the migration behaviour of a breeding population of the Barn Swallow(Hirundo rustica)in Zhanjiang,southern China,a region located in the northern tropics,using light-level *** 2021 to 2023,we deployed geolocators on 92 breeding swallows and retrieved geolocators successfully from 23 *** swallows all exhibited migratory behaviour,and wintering on various islands in Southeast *** displayed sex differences in their wintering *** males concentrated in Borneo,while females primarily chose Borneo but also dispersed to the Philippines,South China Sea,and Vietnam for *** studied swallow population adopted a seasonal migration pattern of“indirect in autumn,direct in spring”,bypassing the ecological barrier of the South China Sea in autumn and tending to directly cross it in spring ***,the distance and duration of autumn migration was significantly longer than those of the spring *** to temperate Barn Swallows,the Barn Swallow population breeding in Zhanjiang adopts a pattern of“intra-tropical migration”and initiates autumn migration *** formation of their migration pattern may be limited by ecological and physiological factors.

Causal associations between gastroesophageal reflux disease and essential hypertension: A bidirectional Mendelian randomization study

BACKGROUND Clinical studies have reported that patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD)have a higher prevalence of *** To performed a bidirectional Mendelian randomization(MR)analysis to investi-gate the causal link between GERD and essential *** Eligible single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs)were selected,and weighted median,inverse variance weighted(IVW)as well as MR egger(MR-Egger)re-gression were used to examine the potential causal association between GERD and *** MR-Pleiotropy RESidual Sum and Outlier analysis was used to detect and attempt to reduce horizontal pleiotropy by removing outliers *** MR-Egger intercept test,Cochran’s Q test and“leave-one-out”sen-sitivity analysis were performed to evaluate the horizontal pleiotropy,heterogen-eities,and stability of single instrumental *** IVW analysis exhibited an increased risk of hypertension(OR=1.46,95%CI:1.33-1.59,P=2.14E-16)in GERD *** the same result was obtained in replication practice(OR=1.002,95%CI:1.0008-1.003,P=0.000498).Meanwhile,the IVW analysis showed an increased risk of systolic blood pressure(β=0.78,95%CI:0.11-1.44,P=0.021)and hypertensive heart disease(OR=1.68,95%CI:1.36-2.08,P=0.0000016)in GERD ***,we found an decreased risk of Barrett's esophagus(OR=0.91,95%CI:0.83-0.99,P=0.043)in essential hypertension *** We found that GERD would increase the risk of essential hypertension,which provided a novel prevent and therapeutic perspectives of essential hypertension.

Rehabilitation care for pain in elderly knee replacement patients

BACKGROUND Total knee arthroplasty(TKA)is recognized as the most effective surgical intervention for relieving pain and improving joint mobility and deformity in patients with knee osteoarthritis and other synovial *** application of accelerated postoperative rehabilitation(enhanced recovery after surgery)has demonstrated its efficacy in improving patient outcomes,and early postoperative joint function exercise has become a key prognostic factor in knee *** unexpected appearance of limb pain and swelling hindered the patient’s tendency for early mobilization,leading in prolonged hospitalization,delayed functional recovery and negative psychological responses.A retrospective analysis was conducted on a cohort of 116 patients who under-went TKA at our hospital between July 2019 and July *** patients were divided into two groups:A control group(n=58)receiving programmatic nur-sing,and an observed group(n=58)receiving programmed nursing combined with a collaborative nursing model.A pain management team consisting of attending physicians,head nurses,and responsible nurses was *** measures included visual analogue scale(VAS)scores,activities of daily living(ADL)scale scores,and functional *** ADL scores of patients in both groups exhibited a continuous ***,there was no statistically significant difference in the ADL scores between the two groups at 48 h and the 7th d post-surgery(P>0.05).Upon reexamination at the 3rd mo,the observation group demonstrated higher ADL scores compared to the control group(67.48±14.69 vs 59.40±16.06,P0.05).The functional status of patients in both groups exhibited a gradual increase prior to intervention and at the 1st,2nd,and 3rd month following discharge(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in knee joint function scores b

Improving Satellite-Retrieved Cloud Base Height with Ground-Based Cloud Radar Measurements

Cloud base height (CBH) is a crucial parameter for cloud radiative effect estimates, climate change simulations, and aviation guidance. However, due to the limited information on cloud vertical structures included in passive satellite radiometer observations, few operational satellite CBH products are currently available. This study presents a new method for retrieving CBH from satellite radiometers. The method first uses the combined measurements of satellite radiometers and ground-based cloud radars to develop a lookup table (LUT) of effective cloud water content (ECWC), representing the vertically varying cloud water content. This LUT allows for the conversion of cloud water path to cloud geometric thickness (CGT), enabling the estimation of CBH as the difference between cloud top height and CGT. Detailed comparative analysis of CBH estimates from the state-of-the-art ECWC LUT are conducted against four ground-based millimeter-wave cloud radar (MMCR) measurements, and results show that the mean bias (correlation coefficient) is 0.18 +/- 1.79 km (0.73), which is lower (higher) than 0.23 +/- 2.11 km (0.67) as derived from the combined measurements of satellite radiometers and satellite radar-lidar (i.e., CloudSat and CALIPSO). Furthermore, the percentages of the CBH biases within 250 m increase by 5% to 10%, which varies by location. This indicates that the CBH estimates from our algorithm are more consistent with ground-based MMCR measurements. Therefore, this algorithm shows great potential for further improvement of the CBH retrievals as ground-based MMCR are being increasingly included in global surface meteorological observing networks, and the improved CBH retrievals will contribute to better cloud radiative effect estimates.

Seismic Risk Model for the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei Region, China:Considering Epistemic Uncertainty from the Seismic Hazard Models

This study presents a probabilistic seismic risk model for the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei region in China. The model comprises a township-level residential building exposure model, a vulnerability model derived from the Chinese building taxonomy,and a regional probabilistic seismic hazard model. The three components are integrated by a stochastic event-based method of the OpenQuake engine to assess the regional seismic risk in terms of average annual loss and exceedance probability curve at the city, province, and regional levels. The novelty and uniqueness of this study are that a probabilistic seismic risk model for the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei region in China is developed by considering the impact of site conditions and epistemic uncertainty from the seismic hazard model.

DGConv: A Novel Convolutional Neural Network Approach for Weld Seam Depth Image Detection

We propose a novel image segmentation algorithm to tackle the challenge of limited recognition and segmentation performance in identifying welding seam images during robotic intelligent ***,to enhance the capability of deep neural networks in extracting geometric attributes from depth images,we developed a novel deep geometric convolution operator(DGConv).DGConv is utilized to construct a deep local geometric feature extraction module,facilitating a more comprehensive exploration of the intrinsic geometric information within depth ***,we integrate the newly proposed deep geometric feature module with the Fully Convolutional Network(FCN8)to establish a high-performance deep neural network algorithm tailored for depth image ***,we enhance the FCN8 detection head by separating the segmentation and classification *** enhancement significantly boosts the network’s overall detection ***,for a comprehensive assessment of our proposed algorithm and its applicability in real-world industrial settings,we curated a line-scan image dataset featuring weld *** dataset,named the Standardized Linear Depth Profile(SLDP)dataset,was collected from actual industrial sites where autonomous robots are in ***,we conducted experiments utilizing the SLDP dataset,achieving an average accuracy of 92.7%.Our proposed approach exhibited a remarkable performance improvement over the prior method on the identical ***,we have successfully deployed the proposed algorithm in genuine industrial environments,fulfilling the prerequisites of unmanned robot operations.
