The fruits of Paulownia catalpifolia Gong Tong are used as a Chinese folk herbal medicine for the treatment of enteritis, tonsillitis, bronchitis, and dysentery, etc. Our previous study has identified new C-geranylated flavanones with obvious anti-proliferative effects in lung cancer A549 cells. In the present study, a new C-geranylated flavone, paucatalinone C(1) and five known C-geranylated flavanones(2-6) were isolated. In addition, a total of 34 C-geranylated flavonoids were detected by HPLC-DAD-ESI-MS/MS coupling techniques from the CH_2Cl_2 extract of P. catalpifolia. Futhermore, anti-aging effects of isolated compounds were evaluated in vitro with premature senescent 2BS cells induced by H_2O_2. Phytochemical results indicated that P. catalpifolia was a natural resource of abundant C-geranylated flavonoids. Diplacone(3) and paucatalinone A(5) were the potent anti-aging agents in the premature senescent 2BS cells induced by H_2O_2 and the C-geranyl substituent may be an important factor because of its lipophilic character.

Metal and alloy nanoparticles synthesized by chemical reduction have attracted increasing attention due to their superior physical,chemical,and biological ***,most chemical synthesis processes rely on the use of harsh reducing agents and complicated chemical ***,we report a novel reduction-agent-free and surfactant(stabilizer)-free strategy to synthesize Cu,Ag,Au,Cu-Pt,Cu-Au,Cu-Au-Pt-Pd,and Au-Pt-Pd-Cu nanoparticles by ultrasound-assisted dealloying of Mgbased metallic *** formation mechanism of the metal and alloy nanoparticles is revealed by a detailed investigation of sequential intermediate *** demonstrate that the glass-liquid phase transition of the initially dealloying metallic glasses,together with the synergistic effect of dealloying and ultrasound-driven ligament-breakage of small enough nanoporous intermediates,play key roles in preparing the uniformly dispersed metal and alloy *** approach greatly simplifies the up-scaling synthesis of monometallic and bimetallic nanoparticles,and also provides a general strategy for synthesizing unprecedented multimetallic nanoparticles.

The Pinghu slope belt in the Xihu sag of the East China Sea Shelf Basin(ECSSB) is a crucial hydrocarbon production area in eastern China. However, due to the complex geological conditions, publications have lacked comprehensive research on the spatial-temporal coupling relationships of primary factors that impact hydrocarbon accumulation in the Pinghu slope belt. Furthermore, the hydrocarbon distribution patterns and the controlling factors across different study areas within the same slope belt are not yet fully understood. This study extensively utilized three-dimensional seismic data, well logging data,geochemical analysis, fluorescence analysis, and oil testing and production data to address these *** a “stratification and differentiation” approach, the study identified seven distinct hydrocarbon migration and accumulation units(HMAU) in the Pinghu slope area based on the structural morphology characteristics, hydrocarbon source-reservoir-cap rock patterns, hydrocarbon migration pathways, and hydrocarbon supply range. Detailed analysis was conducted to examine the hydrocarbon distribution patterns and controlling factors within each migration and accumulation unit across different structural units, including high, medium, and low structural components. All data sources support a “southern-northern sub-area division, eastern-western sub-belt division, and variations in hydrocarbon accumulation” pattern in the Pinghu slope belt. The degree of hydrocarbon accumulation is controlled by the factors of structural morphology, hydrocarbon generation potential of source rocks, the spatial position of source slopes, fault sealing capacity, and sand body distribution. Furthermore, different coupling patterns of faults and sand bodies play a pivotal role in governing hydrocarbon enrichment systems across various migration and accumulation units. Refill friction stir spot welding was employed to produce 6061-T6 aluminum alloy joints with different sleeve plunge *** interface characteristics of joint-line remnant and hook are investigated by optical and scanning electron *** joint-line remnant consists of primary bonding region and secondary bonding region,and two types of hook can be identified as downward hook and upward *** shear results demonstrate that joint-line remnant and hook make interaction effects on tensile shear *** optimal joint is achieved when sleeve plunge depth was 2.0 mm with the corresponding failure load of 8673.4 *** different types of fracture mode are exhibited in joints produced at different sleeve plunge depths,which are closely related with the morphology of interface characteristics.

Acetonylacetone 1 was treated with thiourea,aniline,glycine and glutamic acid to give pyrrole derivatives 2,3,5,and 9 by Paal-Knorr reaction,*** 3 was successfully transformed into the related pyrrole derivative 4 by Mannich reaction. Compounds 6,7 and 8 were obtained by reacting 5 with phenethyl alcohol,phenylallylic alcohol and leaf alcohol by esterification reactions,*** structures of all new products were elucidated by IR,NMR and HRMS spectra.

The wear failure course of gas-valve/valve-seat in engine was investigated with a simulating tester. The results show that the failure of the contact conical surface is mainly caused by the elastic and plastic deformation and the fatigue micro-crack and spalling. The creep-deformation and corrosion atmosphere accelerated wear failure course at the high temperature. The wear failure course of the gas-valve/valve-seat in engine follows general wear rules of mechanical elements, but the rate of wear in the sharp wear stage is faster.

As a result of recycling, the mineralogical and chemical compositions of riverine sediments may reflect the combined effects of the present-day weathering regime as well as previous weathering and diagenetic alteration history. River sediments can be interpreted as a mixture of non-weathered bedrock—of igneous, metamorphic, or sedimentary origin—and solids formed by the modern weathering system. The correlation between the weathering proxies chemical index of alteration and weathering index of Parker offers an approach to distinguish fine suspended particles, coarse bedload sediments, and recycled sediments under the influence of quartz dilution. Recycling of cation-depleted source rocks formed during past geological weathering episodes may have great impacts on the weathering indices of sediments from the Changjiang(Yangzte) and Zhuoshui Rivers. Special caution is required when using chemical weathering indices to investigate the intensity of chemical weathering registered in fluvial sediments. To minimize the effect of hydrodynamic sorting or sediment recycling, we suggest that the fine sediments(*** particles and ﹤2 lm fractions of bedload sediments) in rivers better reflect the average of weatheredcrust in catchments and the terrigenous end-member in marginal seas.

Neutral aluminium alkyls are well known to act as ethylene oligomerization and polymerization catalysts and *** the basis of the full optimization of alkylaluminium compounds with Gaussian 98 program package at the B3LYP/6-31G＊＊ level,the selected structures and bonding energies were investigated *** geometries and bonding energies of AlR3（R = H,CH3,C2H5,C3H7,C4H9） and Al（C2H5）2R＇（R＇ = C2H5,C3H7,C4H9,C5H11,C6H13） were investigated extensively,and we found that,along with the prolongation of carbon chains the terminal C-C bond is shortened gradually until to a constant value of about 0.1532 nm in C4H9;and the bonding energy almost remains *** dative bonding of C2H4 to Al（C2H5）3,whose bonding energy is only 15.30 kJ/mol,is very weak.
