Background: Idiosyncratic drug-induced liver injury(IDILI) is a serious side effect of drugs, Epimedii Folium(EF) is unequivocally implicated in idiosyncratic liver injury onset, potentially due to its ability to perturb the NOD-like receptor family pyrin domain containing 3(NLRP3) inflammasome. Fructus Ligustri Lucidi(FLL), a frequently used medicinal combination with EF, has not yet been investigated for its ability to ameliorate EF-associated hepatotoxicity. Aims and Objectives: Study on the mechanism of compatibility of FLL to alleviate liver injury caused by EF. Materials and Methods: Western blot was used to determine the expression of related proteins, ELISA was used to detect the secretion of related inflammatory factors IL-1β, IL-18, IL-6 and TNF-α, liver injury indexes were detected and liver pathological tissue staining was used to evaluate the liver injury. Results: Our results demonstrated that EF exerted a particular augmenting effect on the stimulation of the NLRP3 inflammasome mediated by nigericin or ATP, whereas FLL suppressed the NLRP3 inflammasome stimulation. Furthermore, an equal EF to FLL ratio significantly reduced the stimulatory effects of EF. Moreover, EF has the potential to induce hepatic injury and augment pro-inflammatory cytokine synthesis in rats subjected to LPS. However, when combined with FLL, the detrimental effects of EF were mitigated. Conclusions: FLL possesses the capacity to attenuate EF-associated hepatotoxicity by suppressing EF-triggered NLRP3 inflammasome activation. Thus, FLL holds promise for improving the clinical safety profile of EF, shedding light on the potential of compatibility and detoxification theories in traditional Chinese medicine.

Objective:Polygoni Multiflori Radix(PM)is a traditional herbal medicine with repeated reports of liver injury events in recent *** wondered whether the classical processing method,namely,nine-time steaming and sun drying(NSSD),had toxicity-attenuating effects on PM and the relationships between toxicity and times of processing,as well as with the alteration trends of its *** and Methods:The chemical fingerprints of different PM extracts were developed using ultra-high-performance liquid *** spectrum-toxicity correlation between the chemical fingerprints and hepatocellular toxicity was analyzed with multiple correlation ***:The results suggested that the hepatotoxicity of NSSD processing products markedly decreased with the repeated steaming and sun drying,which was obviously superior to the product processed by the modern *** analysis revealed that the contents of cis-stilbene glycoside and emodin-8-O-β-D-glucoside related to liver injury susceptibility were reduced with the times of NSSD processing,which was consistent with the decreased trend of hepatocellular *** the five times of NSSD,the contents of them as well as the hepatotoxicity of PM were ***,we found that the contents of catechin and physcion declined rapidly after the one time of NSSD and then remained stable until the nine times of *** on the fact,they could be utilized to indicate whether PM products were processed by steaming and sun ***:This paper confirmed that the NSSD had a good influence on the toxicity attenuating to PM and found four compounds which could apply for the quality control of PM.

Hepatic ischemia-reperfusion injury（HIRI） is characterized by mitochondrial dysfunction and oxidative stress. Monitoring mitochondrial hydrogen peroxide（mtH2O2） levels in real-time through super-resolution imaging is crucial for elucidating its distribution in live cells and its mechanism of action during HIRI. However, low-background fluorogenic probes have been overlooked in the context of super-resolution imaging. In this study, we developed a low-background fluorogenic probe（MitoWG） with the potential for super-resolution morphology-correlated mitochondrial identification to track the fluctuates of mtH2O2in HIRI. Activation of the desirable fluorescence properties of the probe by mtH2O2was confirmed using structural illumination microscopy（SIM）, enabling high-quality mitochondrial imaging with exceptional specificity and *** in mtH2O2levels were successfully observed in both cellular and rat models of HIRI. Furthermore, we associated the decline in mitochondrial redox homeostasis with accelerated mtH2O2production during HIRI, which triggered mitophagy deficiency and led to cell death. In conclusion, Mito-WG possesses excellent photophysical and low-background properties for SIM imaging, making it a promising tool for mtH2O2tracking in HIRI research and clinical diagnosis.

Double carbohelicenes have attracted considerable attention due to their aesthetic structures, distinct π-conjugation extension, inherent chirality, and intriguing optical and electronic properties. Herein, the concise de novo synthesis of a new double[5]carbohelicene 1 together with its chiroptical properties, isomerization process and lasing application is presented. 1 was synthesized by a simple protocol involving the formation of a 6,6′-bipentacene as the key intermediate. It is worth noting that1 existed as two diastereomers 1-PP/MM and 1-PM, which were successfully isolated and unambiguously confirmed by Xray crystallography. The optical resolution of the racemic 1-PP/MM was successfully achieved by chiral-phase highperformance liquid chromatography（HPLC）, and 1-PP and 1-MM were characterized by circular dichroism. Interestingly, it was found that 1-PP/MM could be completely isomerized to 1-PM upon heating, and the detailed thermodynamics and kinetics of the isomerization process were systematically investigated. 1-PM exhibited deep-red luminescence with emission maximum at 723 nm and fluorescence quantum yield as high as 32.95%. Consequently, we can showcase the lasing application of 1-PM by doping with epoxy resin to assemble a bottle microlaser spontaneously, which the lasing wavelength is 796.6 nm at a threshold of 0.8 m J cm-2. We believe that our studies, including the facile synthesis methodology, detailed isomerization studies, and lasing application, will shed some light on the design and synthesis of novel carbohelical systems with more functions.

Objective To develop an effective method for simultaneous determination of eight major components in Liuwei Wuling Tablet（LWT）. Methods Reversed phase HPLC method was used with variously improved conditions. Results Salidroside, forsythoside A, specnuezhenide, phillyrin, schisandrol A, schizandrol A, schizandrin A, and schizandrin B in LWT were successfully separated on a Kromasil 100-5-C_（18） reverse phase column（250 mm × 4.6 mm, 5 μm） using acetonitrile -0.1% phosphoric acid（gradient elution） as mobile phase. The detection wavelength was 275 nm with flow rate of 1.0 mL/min, and the column temperature was maintained at 35 ℃. The recovery rate of the method was within the range of 95.13%-104.56% and the precision（RSD） was less than 3% for all eight analytes. All the compounds showed good linearities（r^2〉0.9980） in a relatively wide concentration range. Conclusion Simultaneous quantification of the multiple components by HPLC would be a better strategy for the quality evaluation of LWT.

Despite considerable research underscoring the importance of carbohydrate intake in relation to the risk of type 2 diabetes(T2D), a comprehensive assessment of this relationship is currently lacking. We aimed to examine the associations of various types and food sources of dietary carbohydrate intake with the risk of T2D, to evaluate potential effect modification by other factors, including genetic susceptibility,and to explore the potential mediators for such associations. The present study included 161,872 participants of the UK Biobank who were free of prevalent cancer, cardiovascular disease, or diabetes, and had at least one validated 24-h dietary recall assessment. Multivariableadjusted age-stratified Cox proportional hazard regression models were applied to estimate hazard ratios(HRs) and 95% confidence intervals(CI) for the associations of various types and food sources of dietary carbohydrate intake with risk of T2D. During a median follow-up of13.6 years, 4,176 incident cases of T2D were identified. In the multivariable-adjusted models, a greater intake of fiber, carbohydrates from whole grains, and carbohydrates from non-starchy vegetables was significantly associated with a lower risk of T2D(highest vs. lowest quantile, HR [95% CI]=0.70 [0.62–0.79], 0.74 [0.67–0.82], and 0.83 [0.75–0.92], respectively, all P for trend <0.005). In contrast, a higher intake of starch and carbohydrate from starchy vegetables was associated with an increased risk of T2D(highest vs. lowest quantile, HR [95%CI]=1.31 [1.16–1.48] and 1.19 [1.09–1.31], respectively, both P for trend <0.005). Replacing one serving of refined grains or starchy vegetables with an equal amount of whole grains or non-starchy vegetables was associated with 4% to 10% lower risk of T2D(all P values <0.001).The observed associations were generally similar across population subgroups, including individuals with different genetic susceptibility to T2D. 社会焦虑和抑郁现象日益严重。为理解与探索数媒时代焦虑、抑郁的引致因素及应对策略,研究采用系统性文献综述方法,基于情感事件理论和社会比较理论构建框架,梳理了社会比较的不同亚型与焦虑、抑郁的关系以及网络媒体环境的权变作用。研究发现,消极社会比较(传统上行比较和下行同化比较)可能会引发焦虑和抑郁,社交网络平台对此负面影响具有催化作用;而情绪比较和下行对比比较可以缓解焦虑和抑郁,网络健康社区促进了情绪比较的积极作用的发挥。研究推进了社会比较理论在情绪情感领域的应用,确定了焦虑、抑郁与网络健康社区可供性的关联,也为网络社区服务、运营和设计的原则提供参考和借鉴以帮助个体应对心理健康问题。研究还指出焦虑、抑郁和社会比较关系后续研究的可能路径和方向。
