Comparative transcriptional analysis and identification of hub genes associated with wing differentiation of male in Aphis gossypii

Background:Aphis gossypii Glover(Hemiptera:Aphididae),a worldwide polyphagous phloem-feeding agricultural pest,has three wing morphs(winged parthenogenetic female,gynopara,and male)in the life *** exclusive males could fly from summer hosts to winter hosts,which are essential for gene exchanges of cotton aphid populations from different hosts or ***,the molecular mechanism of wing differentiation of male in *** remains ***:Morphological observation of male *** showed that there is no distinct difference in the external morphologies of the 1st and 2nd instar *** obvious differentiation of wing buds started in the 3rd instar nymph and was visible via naked eyes in the 4th instar nymphal stage,then adult male emerged with full *** to morphological dynamic changes,the development of wings in males were divided into four stages:preliminary stage(the 1st instar to 2nd instar),prophase(the 3rd instar),metaphase(the 4th instar),anaphase(the 5th instar).Results of feeding behavior monitoring via EPG(electrical penetration graph)technology indicated that although the male cotton aphids had strong desire to feed(longer duration of C 55.24%,F 5.05%and Pd waves 2.56%),its feeding efficiency to summer host cotton was low(shorter E13.56%and E2 waves 2.63%).Dynamic transcriptome analysis of male aphid at 5 different developmental periods showed that in the 3rd instar nymph,the number of up-regulated DEGs was significant increased,and time-course gene transcriptional pattern analyses results also showed that numerous genes categorized in clusters 3,5,and 8 had the highest expressed levels,which were consistent with morphological changes of wing *** results indicate that the 3rd instar nymph is the critical stage of wing bud differentiation in ***,through pathway enrichment analysis of DEGs and WGCNA,it revealed that the neuroactive ligand-receptor interaction,Ras signaling pathway,dopaminergic synaps

P450 fatty acid decarboxylase Ole T from Staphylococcus aureus(Ole TSA)is a novel cytochrome P450 enzyme that catalyzes the oxidative decarboxylation of fatty acids to yield primarily terminal alkenes and CO_(2) or minor a-andβ-hydroxylated fatty acids as *** this work,the interactions between a series of cycloalkyl phosphorus heterocycles(CPHs)and Ole TSAwere investigated in detail by fluorescence titration experiment,ultraviolet-visible(UV-vis)and31 P NMR *** titration experiment results clearly showed that a dynamic quenching occurred when CPH-6,a representative CPHs,interacted with Ole TSAwith a binding constant value of 15.2×104 M-1 at 293 *** thermodynamic parameters(ΔH,ΔS andΔG)showed that the hydrogen bond and van der Waals force played major roles in the interaction between Ole TSAand *** UV-vis and31 P NMR studies indicated the penetration of CPH-6 into the interior environment of Ole TSA,which greatly affects the enzymatic activity of Ole ***,our study revealed an effective way to use phosphorus heterocyclic compounds to modulate the activity of cytochrome P450 enzymes.

Topological insulators represent a new quantum phase of matter with spin-polarized surface states that are protected from backscattering, exhibiting electronic responses to light, such as topological quantum phase transitions. However, the effects of high-frequency driving topological intrinsic systems have remained largely unexplored challenges experimentally for high-sensitivity terahertz detection. In this study, by integrating Sb2Te3 topological insulators with subwavelength metal antennas through micro-nano processing, a high-frequency terahertz detector with high sensitivity is proposed. The enhanced response originates from the asymmetric scattering of the surface electrons in the Sb_(2)Te_(3) flakes induced by the terahertz wave. The device displays room-temperature photodetection with a responsivity of 192 ma/W and equivalent noise power of less than 0.35 nW/Hz^(1/2) in the frequency range from 0.02 to 0.3 THz. These results pave the way for the exploitation of topological insulators for high-frequency operation in real-time imaging within long-wavelength optoelectronics.

Mercury-containing catalysts are widely used for acetylene hydrochlorination in China. Surface chemical characteristics of the fresh low-level mercury catalysts and spent low-level mercury catalysts were compared using multiple characterization methods. Pore blockage and active site coverage caused by chlorine-containing organics are responsible for catalyst deactivation. The reactions of chloroethylene and acetylene with chlorine free radical can generate chlorine-containing organic species. SiO_2 and functional groups on activated carbon contribute to the generation of carbon deposition. No significant reduction in the total content of mercury was observed after catalyst deactivation, while there was mercury loss locally. The irreversible loss of HgCl_2 caused by volatilization, reduction and poisoning of elements S and P also can lead to catalyst deactivation. Si, Al, Ca and Fe oxides are scattered on the activated carbon. Active components are still uniformly absorbed on activated carbon after catalyst deactivation.

The methylene blue（MB）removal abilities of raw activated carbon and iron/cerium modified raw activated carbon（Fe–Ce-AC）by adsorption were researched and *** characteristics of Fe–Ce-AC were examined by N2adsorption,zeta potential measurement,FTIR,Raman,XRD,XPS,SEM and *** modification,the following phenomena occurred：The BET surface area,average pore diameter and total pore volume decreased;the degree of graphitization also ***,the presence of Fe3O4led to Fe–Ce-AC having magnetic properties,which makes it easy to separate from dye wastewater in an external magnetic field and subsequently *** addition,the equilibrium isotherms and kinetics of MB adsorption on raw activated carbon and Fe–Ce-AC were systematically *** equilibrium adsorption data indicated that the adsorption behavior followed the Langmuir isotherm,and the pseudo-second-order model matched the kinetic data *** with raw activated carbon,the maximum monolayer adsorption capacity of Fe–Ce-AC increased by27.31%.According to the experimental results,Fe–Ce-AC can be used as an effective adsorbent for the removal of MB from dye wastewater.

A method for power suppliers’optimal cooperative bidding strategies considering network losses

The bidding strategies of power suppliers to maximize their interests is of great *** proposed bilevel optimization model with coalitions of power suppliers takes restraint factors into consideration,such as operating cost reduction,potential cooperation,other competitors’bidding behavior,and network *** upper model describes the coalition relationship between suppliers,and the lower model represents the independent system operator’s optimization without network loss(WNL)or considering network loss(CNL).Then,a novel algorithm,the evolutionary game theory algorithm(EGA)based on a hybrid particle swarm optimization and improved firefly algorithm(HPSOIFA),is proposed to solve the bi-level optimization *** bidding behavior of the power suppliers in equilibrium with a dynamic power market is encoded as one species,with the EGA automatically predicting a plausible adaptation process for the *** behavior changes are employed by the HPSOIFA to enhance the ability of global exploration and local exploitation.A novel improved firefly algorithm(IFA)is combined with a chaotic sequence theory to escape from the local *** addition,the Shapley value is applied to the profit distribution of power suppliers’*** simulation,adopting the standard IEEE-30 bus system,demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed method for solving the bi-level optimization problem.
