Preparation of yttrium oxide coating with enhanced thermal shock resistance on refractories used for titanium alloy melting and casting

In order to enhance the service life of refractories for melting and casting of titanium alloy,preparation of yttrium oxide coatings on the refractories surface is an effective *** improvement of thermal shock stability of the coating is beneficial to its spalling resistance during the high-temperature service,and the available slurry with good performance is the *** effects of the varieties and contents of dispersant(sodium tripolyphosphate,sodium hexametaphosphate,sodium pyrophosphate,citric acid and polycarboxylate ammonium salt)and binder(aluminum dihydrogen phosphate,zirconium acetate and yttria sol)on the stability,rheological and thixotropic properties of yttrium oxide waterbased slurry were investigated,and the effects of slurry composition design on the thermal shock resistance of the coating were *** results showed that the introduction of polycarboxylate ammonium salt as dispersant significantly improved the stability of the slurry,and the varieties of the binders had significant effects on the dispersibility of the *** aluminum dihydrogen phosphate and polycarboxylate ammonium salt were used as binder and dispersant,respectively,the slurry had better stability,suitable rheological and thixotropic *** using aluminum dihydrogen phosphate as binder,the coating had good thermal shock resistance and no obvious cracks were observed for the coating after thermal shock,which was attributed to the yttrium aluminate binding phase generated in the *** effective method was provided for preparing yttrium oxide coatings with enhanced thermal shock resistance applied in the process of titanium alloy melting and casting.

BACKGROUND Models for predicting hepatitis B e antigen(HBeAg)seroconversion in patients with HBeAg-positive chronic hepatitis B(CHB)after nucleos(t)ide analog treatment are *** To establish a simple scoring model based on a response-guided therapy(RGT)strategy for predicting HBeAg seroconversion and hepatitis B surface antigen(HBsAg)*** In this study,75 previously treated patients with HBeAg-positive CHB underwent a 52-week peginterferon-alfa(PEG-IFNα)treatment and a 24-wk *** regression analysis was used to assess parameters at baseline,week 12,and week 24 to predict HBeAg seroconversion at 24 wk *** two best predictors at each time point were used to establish a prediction model for PEG-IFNαtherapy *** at each time point that met the corresponding optimal cutoff thresholds were scored as 1 or *** The two most meaningful predictors were HBsAg≤1000 IU/mL and HBeAg≤3 S/CO at baseline,HBsAg≤600 IU/mL and HBeAg≤3 S/CO at week 12,and HBsAg≤300 IU/mL and HBeAg≤2 S/CO at week *** a total score of 0 vs 2 at baseline,week 12,and week 24,the response rates were 23.8%,15.2%,and 11.1%vs 81.8%,80.0%,and 82.4%,respectively,and the HBsAg clearance rates were 2.4%,3.0%,and 0.0%,vs 54.5%,40.0%,and 41.2%,*** We successfully established a predictive model and diagnosis-treatment process using the RGT strategy to predict HBeAg and HBsAg seroconversion in patients with HBeAg-positive CHB undergoing PEG-IFNαtherapy.

Changepoint Detection with Outliers Based on RWPCA

Changepoint detection faces challenges when outlier data are present. This paper proposes a multivariate changepoint detection method which is based on the robust WPCA projection direction and the robust RFPOP method, RWPCA-RFPOP method. Our method is double robust which is suitable for detecting mean changepoints in multivariate normal data with high correlations between variables that include outliers. Simulation results demonstrate that our method provides strong guarantees on both the number and location of changepoints in the presence of outliers. Finally, our method is well applied in an ACGH dataset.

The China Space Station Telescope(CSST,also known as Xuntian)is a serviceable two-meter-aperture wide-field telescope operating in the same orbit as the China Space *** CSST plans to survey a sky area of 17,500 deg^(2)of the medium-to-high Galactic latitude to a depth of 25-26 AB mag in at least 6 photometric bands over 255-1,000 *** such a large sky area,slitless spectra will also be taken over the same wavelength range as the imaging *** though the CSST survey is not dedicated to time-domain studies,it would still detect a large number of transients,such as supernovae(SNe).In this paper,we simulate photometric SN observations based on a strawman survey plan using the Sncosmo *** its 10-year survey,the CSST is expected to observe about 5 million SNe of various *** quality cuts,we obtain a“gold”sample that comprises roughly 7,400 SNe Ia,2,200 SNe Ibc,and 6,500 SNeⅡcandidates with correctly classified percentages reaching 91%,63%,and 93%(formally defined as classification precision),*** same survey can also trigger alerts for the detection of about 15,500 SNe Ia(precision 61%)and 2,100 SNeⅡ(precision 49%)candidates at least two days before the light ***,the near-ultraviolet observations of the CSST will be able to catch hundreds of shock-cooling events serendipitously every *** results demonstrate that the CSST can make a potentially significant contribution to SN studies.

Glitches represent a category of non-Gaussian and transient noise that frequently intersects with gravitational wave(GW)signals,thereby exerting a notable impact on the processing of GW *** inference of GW parameters,crucial for GW astronomy research,is particularly susceptible to such *** this study,we pioneer the utilization of a temporal and time-spectral fusion normalizing flow for likelihood-free inference of GW parameters,seamlessly integrating the high temporal resolution of the time domain with the frequency separation characteristics of both time and frequency ***,our findings indicate that the accuracy of this inference method is comparable to that of traditional non-glitch sampling ***,our approach exhibits a greater efficiency,boasting processing times on the order of *** conclusion,the application of a normalizing flow emerges as pivotal in handling GW signals affected by transient noises,offering a promising avenue for enhancing the field of GW astronomy research.

BACKGROUND Cardioneuroablation(CNA)has shown encouraging results in patients with vasovagal syncope(VVS).However,data on different subtypes was *** This observational study retrospectively enrolled 141 patients[mean age:40±18 years,51 males(36.2%)]with the diagnosis of *** characteristics among different types of VVS and the outcomes after CNA were *** After a mean follow-up of 4.3±1.5 years,41 patients(29.1%)experienced syncope/pre-syncope events after ***/pre-syncope recurrence significantly differed in each subtype(P=0.04).The cardioinhibitory type of VVS had the lowest recurrence rate after the procedure(n=6,16.7%),followed by mixed(n=26,30.6%)and vasodepressive(n=9,45.0%).Additionally,a significant difference was observed in the analyses of the Kaplan-Meier survival curve(P=0.02).Syncope/pre-syncope burden was significantly reduced after CNA in the vasodepressive type(P<0.01).Vasodepressive types with recurrent syncope/pre-syncope after CNA have a lower baseline deceleration capacity(DC)level than those without(7.4±1.0 ms vs.9.0±1.6 ms,P=0.01).Patients with DC<8.4 ms had an 8.1(HR=8.1,95%CI:2.2-30.0,P=0.02)times risk of syncope/pre-syncope recurrence after CNA compared to patients with DC≥8.4 ms,and this association still existed after adjusting for age and sex(HR=8.1,95%CI:2.2-30.1,P=0.02).CONCLUSIONS Different subtypes exhibit different event-free *** vasodepressive type exhibited the lowest event-free rate,but those patients with DC≥8.4 ms might benefit from CNA.

Higher-Order Nonlinear Effects on Optical Soliton Propagation and Their Interactions

When pursuing femtosecond-scale ultrashort pulse optical communication, one cannot overlook higher-order nonlinear effects. Based on the fundamental theoretical model of the variable coefficient coupled high-order nonlinear Schr¨odinger equation, we analytically explore the evolution of optical solitons in the presence of highorder nonlinear effects. Moreover, the interactions between two nearby optical solitons and their transmission in a nonuniform fiber are investigated. The stability of optical soliton transmission and interactions are found to be destroyed to varying degrees due to higher-order nonlinear effects. The outcomes may offer some theoretical references for achieving ultra-high energy optical solitons in the future.
