The obligate biotrophic basidiomycete fungus Puccinia striformis ***(Pst)is the causative agent of wheat stripe(yellow)rust,a disease that results in severe damage to global wheat production(c.en and Kang,2017).This pathogen has a mixed reproductive mode encompassing both asexual and sexual *** asexual stage is accomplished by reinfecting wheat with urediniospores,while the sexual cycle involves five different spore types and two phylogenetically unrelated plant hosts wheat,which is the primary host,and barberry,which is the alternate host(Zhao et al.,2016).This extremely complex lifecycle facilitates large genetic variation among Pst populations,which is conducive to the emergence of new virulent races that can overcome wheat resistance genes,resulting in epidemics(c.en and Kang,2017).Secreted effector proteins,the key virulence factors in fungal pathogens,can not only suppress plant immune systems but also trigger host immune responses following recognition by plant receptors(Toruno et al.,2016).

With the development of the transportation industry, the effective guidance of aircraft in an emergency to prevent catastrophic accidents remains one of the top safety concerns. Undoubtedly, operational status data of the aircraft play an important role in the judgment and command of the Operational control center(Occ). However, how to transmit various operational status data from abnormal aircraft back to the Occ in an emergency is still an open problem. In this paper, we propose a novel Telemetry, Tracking,and command(TT&c) architecture named collaborative TT&c(coTT&c) based on mega-constellation to solve such a problem. coTT&c allows each satellite to help the abnormal aircraft by sharing TT&c resources when needed, realizing real-time and reliable aeronautical communication in an emergency. Specifically, we design a dynamic resource sharing mechanism for coTT&c and model the mechanism as a single-leader-multi-follower Stackelberg game. Further, we give an unique Nash Equilibrium(NE) of the game as a closed form. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed resource sharing mechanism is effective, incentive compatible, fair, and reciprocal. We hope that our findings can shed some light for future research on aeronautical communications in an emergency.

X-ray excited photodynamic therapy(X-PDT)is the bravo answer of photodynamic therapy(PDT)for deep-seated tumors,as it employs X-ray as the irradiation source to overcome the limitation of light penetration ***,high X-ray irradiation dose caused organ lesions and side effects became the major barrier to X-PDT *** address this issue,this work employed a classic-al co-precipitation reaction to synthesize NaLuF_(4):15%Tb^(3+)(NLF)with an average particle size of(23.48±0.91)nm,which was then coupled with the photosensitizer merocyanine 540(Mc540)to form the X-PDT system NLF-Mc540 with high production of singlet *** system could induce antitumor efficacy to about 24%in relative low dose X-ray irradiation range(0.1-0.3 Gy).In vivo,when NLF-Mc540 irradiated by 0.1 Gy X-ray,the tumor inhibition percentage reached 89.5%±5.7%.The therapeutic mechanism of low dose X-PDT was found.A significant increase of neutrophils in serum was found on the third day after *** immunohistochemical staining of tumor sections,the Ly6G^(+),cD8^(+),and cD11c^(+)cells infiltrated in the tumor microenvironment were *** the bilat-eral tumor model,the NLF-Mc540 with 0.1 Gy X-ray irradiation could inhibit both the primary tumor and the distant tumor ***-tected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(EliSA),two cytokines IFN-γand TNF-αin serum were upregulated 7 and 6 times than negative control,*** by enzyme linked immune spot assay(EliSPOT),the number of immune cells attributable to the IFN-γand TNF-αlevels in the group of low dose X-PDT were 14 and 6 times greater than that in the negative control group,***,it conclude that low dose X-PDT system could successfully upregulate the levels of immune cells,stimulate the secretion of cy-tokines(especially IFN-γand TNF-α),activate antitumor immunity,and finally inhibit colon tumor growth.

With the increasing demand for beauty and health,clear aligners(cAs)have been widely applied among patients with ***,patients treated with cAs also face some potential complications,such as demineralization,dental caries,and periodontal *** addition,some patients have additional needs to improve their quality of life,such as bleaching *** order to prevent or solve these problems,the modification of cAs is a promising method because their extensive long-term contact with tooth surfaces makes them ideal devices for implementing adjuvant medical *** this review,we discuss various advanced cAs with medical functions based on the clinical needs of *** far as we know,the additional functions of cAs mainly include antibacterial,remineralization,whitening,and accelerating tooth *** functions are achieved by two major pathways,the combination of cAs with drugs/biomaterials and increasing the capacity or affinity of *** addition,we discuss the current limitations of in vitro experiments which are designed to explore the effectiveness and properties of novel cAs,and the challenges of bringing a multifunctional appliance from proposal to clinical *** the end of this review,we provide insights into the broader prospects for the improvement of cAs.

Glycation of proteins and DNA forms advanced glycation end products(AGEs)causing cell and tissue dysfunction and subsequent various chronic diseases,in particular,metabolic and age-related *** AGE inhibition includes scavengers of reactive carbonyl species(RcS)such as methylglyoxal(MG),glyoxalase-1 enhancers,Nrf2/ARE pathway activators,AGE/RAGE formation inhibitors and other antiglycatng *** flavonoids have demonstrated antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects and are also found to be effective antiglycating ***,we reviewed the up to date progress of the antiglycation effects of citrus flavonoids and associated *** citrus flavonoids,hesperedin and its aglycone,hesperetin,inhibited glycation by scavenging MG forming mono-or di-flavonoid adducts with MG,enhanced the activity of glyoxase-1,activated Akt/Nrf2 signal pathway while inhibiting AGE/RAGE/NF-κB pathway,reduced the formation of Nε-(carboxylmethyl)lysine(cML)and pentosidine,inhibited aldol reductase activity and decreased the levels of *** antiglycating activity and mechanisms of other flavonoids was also summarized in this *** conclusion,citrus flavonoids possess effective antiglycating activity via different mechanisms,yet there are many challenging questions remaining to be studied in the near future such as in vivo testing and human study of citrus flavonoids for efficacy,effectiveness and adverse effects of citrus flavonoids as a functional food in managing high levels of AGEs and controlling AGE-induced chronic diseases,diabetic complications in particular.

Highly reduced polyoxometalates(POMs) are predicted to be used as rather high energy density materials;however,it still suffers from the limited cluster species and reduction *** we demonstrate that it is possible to employ the building block strategy to generate a highly reduced polyoxomolybdate(c_(2)H_(8)N)_(14)(NH_(4))_(4)H_(14)[Mo_(48)-ⅤMo_(26)ⅥO_(202)(OH)_(12)(SO_(4))_(6)]·46H_(2)O(Mo_(74)).The fundamental Mo-based{Mo_x}(x=4,5,and 6) building blocks,which are templated by tetra-coordinated anions{MoO_(4)}or{SO_(4)},not only lay foundation for the formation of Mo_(74) featuring an unprecedented reduction ratio of 65%,but also give rise to SBBs-mediated(secondary building blocks) supramolecular dense packing interactions among the isolated Mo_(74) clusters that are favorable for proton ***,high proton conductivity(2.04×10^(-2)S cm^(-1)) had been realized at 50℃ and 90% relative humidity,revealing one of the well-known POMs-based crystalline proton conducting *** result highlights that this building block approach possesses great potential in producing highly reduced POM systems that can achieve controllable reduced ratio and desirable properties.

A novel lightweight,radiation-shielding Mg-Ta-Al layered metal-matrix composite(LMc)was successful designed by doping the extremely refractory metal(Ta)into Mg *** Mg-based LMcs sheets shows excellent radiation-dose shield effect,about 145 krad·a^(−1),which is about 17 times of traditional Mg alloy,while its surface density is only about 0.9 g·cm^(−2),reducing by 60%than that of pure *** quantitate relationship between radiation-dose and the materials’thickness was also confirmed to the logistic function when the surface density is in the range of 0.6-1.5 g·cm^(−2).Meantime,the rolling parameters,interface microstructure and mechanical properties in both as-rolled and annealing treated samples were *** sheets possess a special dissimilar atoms diffusion transitional zone containing an obvious inter-diffusion Mg-Al interface and the unique micro-corrugated Ta-Al interface,as well as a thin Al film with a thickness of about 10μ*** special zone could reduce the stress concentration and enhance the strength of Mg-Ta-Al *** interface bonding strength reaches up to 54-76 *** ultimate tensile strength(UTS)and yield strength(TYS)of the Mg-Ta-Al sheet were high to 413 MPa and 263 MPa,respectively,along with an elongation of 5.8%.The molecular dynamics(MD)analysis results show that the two interfaces exhibit different formation mechanism,the Mg-Al interface primarily depended on Mg/Al atoms diffusion basing point defects movement,while the Ta-Al interface with a micro-interlock pining shape formed by close-packed planes slipping during high temperature strain-induced deformation process.
