Effect of Platelet-rich Plasma in Stimulating Macrophage Transformation into M2 Type under AMPK Signaling Pathway

Objective: To explore the effect of platelet-rich plasma(RPR) in stimulating the transformation of pro-inflammatory(M1) macrophages into antiinflammatory(M2) under the adenosine-monophosphate-dependent protein kinase(AMPK) signaling pathway. Methods: Rat peritoneal macrophages(RAW264.7) were cultured and randomly divided into 8 groups: blank control group, LPS group, RPR group A, RPR group B, LPS+RPR(12 h) group, LPS+RPR(24 h) group A, LPS+RPR(24 h)group B, LPS+RPR(24 h) group C. RPR was prepared based on blood donors. The expressions of AMPK signaling pathway-related proteins(AMPK, ULK1, m TOR) and macrophage markers(i NOS, Arg-1) in the blank control group, LPS group, LPS+RPR(12 h)group and LPS+RPR(24 h) group were observed and compared. The expressions of macrophage markers in LPS+RPR(24 h) B and C groups were compared, and the expressions of AMPK and TGF-β in RPR A and B groups were compared. Results: The gray values of AMPK and ULK1 in LPS cells decreased significantly, while those in LPS+RPR(12 h) and LPS+RPR(24 h) A cells increased significantly. The gray values of AMPK and ULK1 in LPS+RPR(24 h) A cells were higher than those in LPS+RPR(12 h)cells(P<0.05). The m TOR gray value of LPS cells was significantly higher than that of LPS+RPR(24 h) A cells, and the m TOR gray value of LPS+RPR(24 h) A cells was significantly lower than that of LPS+RPR(12 h) cells(P<0.05). The expression of i NOS in LPS cells was significantly decreased, the expression of i NOS in LPS+RPR(12 h) and LPS+RPR(24 h) cells was significantly increased, and the expression of i NOS in LPS+RPR(24 h) cells was higher than that in LPS+RPR(12 h) cells(P<0.05). The expression of Arg-1 in LPS cells was significantly decreased, the expression of Arg-1 in LPS+RPR(12 h) and LPS+RPR(24 h) A cells was significantly increased, and the expression of Arg-1 in LPS+RPR(24 h) A cells was higher than that in LPS+RPR(12 h)cells(P<0.05). Dynamic analysis of tethered defunct satellites with solar panels

A precise dynamic model for towing and removing a defunct satellite with solar panels in orbit using a tethered net often has low computational efficiency owing to the complex contact and collision between the net and panels,which is not conducive to *** solve this problem,a“single main tether–multiple subtether”bifurcation structure with beads was employed as the tethered net *** study investigated the dynamics of tethered defunct satellites with solar panels,particularly the behavior of the attitude of the tethered satellite,oscillation of the main tether,and vibration of solar panels under different *** results showed that different attachment configurations of the subtethers and the flexibility of the main tether have an evident impact on the dynamic characteristics of the system.

Generic Modeling and Control Framework for Power Systems Dominated by Power Converters Connected Through a Passive Transmission and Distribution Grid

In this paper,a compact mathematical model having an elegant structure,together with a generic control framework,are proposed for generic power systems dominated by power converters that are interconnected through a passive transmission and distribution(T&D)grid,by adopting the port-Hamiltonian(pH)systems theory and the fundamental circuit *** models of generic T&D lines are developed and then the model of a generic T&D grid is *** the proposed control framework,the controlled converters are proven to be passive and Input-to-State Stable(ISS).The compact mathematical model is scalable and can be applied to power systems with multiple power electronic converters with generic passive controllers,passive local loads,and different types of passive T&D lines connected in a meshed configuration without self-loops,so it is very ***,the resulting power system is proven to be ISS as *** analysis is carried out without assumptions on constant frequency/voltage,constant loads,and/or lossless networks,except the need of passivity for all parts involved,and without using the Clarke/Park transformations or the graph *** simplify the presentation,three-phase balanced systems are adopted but the results can be easily adapted for single-phase or unbalanced three-phase systems.

Dynamics Study on the changes of Structure and Function of Erythrocyte Plasma Membrane under Different Storage Conditions

Objective:Red blood cells are the predominant blood cell component utilized in transfusion ***,prolonged storage and the buildup of metabolites can lead to alterations in the structure and function of the plasma membrane of RBCs,thereby impacting their *** study aimed to comprehensively examine the evolving dynamics of erythrocyte plasma membrane structure and function under varying storage ***:A two-factor,three-level experimental design was employed to investigate the impact of storage temperature(-4℃,4℃,and 10℃)on the composition of erythrocyte membrane *** performance liquid chromatography was utilized to analyze the phospholipid composition at 1,7,and 14 d of ***,the osmotic fragility of the erythrocyte membrane was assessed using the NaCl solution induction method,and the effective oxygen carrying capacity and oxygen affinity were determined using a blood oxygen ***:The findings indicated that the integrity of erythrocyte membranes could be adequately preserved at a temperature of-4℃.In contrast to the groups stored at 4℃and 10℃,there were no notable alterations in the phospholipid composition of erythrocyte membranes and related functional indicators at various time points in the-4℃*** erythrocyte membrane osmotic fragility in the-4℃group was(0.49±0.05)%,indicating sustained lower levels and suggesting the effective maintenance of cell membrane *** erythrocytes at-4℃did not have any detrimental impact on their ability to transport oxygen,as evidenced by the maintenance of normal effective oxygen carrying capacity(29.08±1.59)ml and oxygen affinity(5.33±0.48)***:The findings indicate that erythrocytes can be stored at-4℃for an extended period,with shorter stability observed at 4℃and 10℃.These results offer insights for optimizing the storage duration of erythrocyte products for specific ***,this research holds relevance for

Abnormal State Detection in Lithium-ion Battery Using Dynamic Frequency Memory and Correlation Attention LSTM Autoencoder

This paper addresses the challenge of identifying abnormal states in Lithium-ion Battery(LiB)time series *** the energy sector increasingly focuses on integrating distributed energy resources,Virtual Power Plants(VPP)have become a vital new framework for energy *** are key in this context,owing to their high-efficiency energy storage capabilities essential for VPP ***,LiBs are prone to various abnormal states like overcharging,over-discharging,and internal short circuits,which impede power transmission *** methods for detecting such abnormalities in LiB are too broad and lack precision for the dynamic and irregular nature of LiB *** response,we introduce an innovative method:a Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM)autoencoder based on Dynamic Frequency Memory and Correlation Attention(DFMCA-LSTM-AE).This unsupervised,end-to-end approach is specifically designed for dynamically monitoring abnormal states in LiB *** method starts with a Dynamic Frequency Fourier Transform module,which dynamically captures the frequency characteristics of time series data across three scales,incorporating a memory mechanism to reduce overgeneralization of abnormal *** is followed by integrating LSTM into both the encoder and decoder,enabling the model to effectively encode and decode the temporal relationships in the time *** tests on a real-world LiB dataset demonstrate that DFMCA-LSTM-AE outperforms existing models,achieving an average Area Under the Curve(AUC)of 90.73%and an F1 score of 83.83%.These results mark significant improvements over existing models,ranging from 2.4%–45.3%for AUC and 1.6%–28.9%for F1 score,showcasing the model’s enhanced accuracy and reliability in detecting abnormal states in LiB data.

Safety-Constrained Multi-Agent Reinforcement Learning for Power Quality Control in Distributed Renewable Energy Networks

This paper examines the difficulties of managing distributed power systems,notably due to the increasing use of renewable energy sources,and focuses on voltage control challenges exacerbated by their variable nature in modern power *** tackle the unique challenges of voltage control in distributed renewable energy networks,researchers are increasingly turning towards multi-agent reinforcement learning(MARL).However,MARL raises safety concerns due to the unpredictability in agent actions during their exploration *** unpredictability can lead to unsafe control *** mitigate these safety concerns in MARL-based voltage control,our study introduces a novel approach:Safety-ConstrainedMulti-Agent Reinforcement Learning(SC-MARL).This approach incorporates a specialized safety constraint module specifically designed for voltage control within the MARL *** module ensures that the MARL agents carry out voltage control actions *** experiments demonstrate that,in the 33-buses,141-buses,and 322-buses power systems,employing SC-MARL for voltage control resulted in a reduction of the Voltage Out of Control Rate(%***)from0.43,0.24,and 2.95 to 0,0.01,and 0.03,***,the Reactive Power Loss(Q loss)decreased from 0.095,0.547,and 0.017 to 0.062,0.452,and 0.016 in the corresponding systems.

Development and validation of a model integrating clinical and coronary lesion-based functional assessment for longterm risk prediction in PCI patients

OBJECTIVES To establish a scoring system combining the ACEF score and the quantitative blood flow ratio(QFR) to improve the long-term risk prediction of patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).METHODS In this population-based cohort study, a total of 46 features, including patient clinical and coronary lesion characteristics, were assessed for analysis through machine learning models. The ACEF-QFR scoring system was developed using 1263consecutive cases of CAD patients after PCI in PANDA Ⅲ trial database. The newly developed score was then validated on the other remaining 542 patients in the *** In both the Random Forest Model and the Deep Surv Model, age, renal function(creatinine), cardiac function(LVEF)and post-PCI coronary physiological index(QFR) were identified and confirmed to be significant predictive factors for 2-year adverse cardiac events. The ACEF-QFR score was constructed based on the developmental dataset and computed as age(years)/EF(%) + 1(if creatinine ≥ 2.0 mg/d L) + 1(if post-PCI QFR ≤ 0.92). The performance of the ACEF-QFR scoring system was preliminarily evaluated in the developmental dataset, and then further explored in the validation dataset. The ACEF-QFR score showed superior discrimination(C-statistic = 0.651;95% CI: 0.611-0.691, P < 0.05 versus post-PCI physiological index and other commonly used risk scores) and excellent calibration(Hosmer–Lemeshow χ^(2)= 7.070;P = 0.529) for predicting 2-year patient-oriented composite endpoint(POCE).
