Understanding the relationship between the chemical composition and pyrolysis performance of endothermic hydrocarbon fuel(EHF) is of great significance for the design and optimization of advanced EHFs. In this work, the effect of deep hydrogenation on the pyrolysis of commercial RP-3 is *** with different hydrogenation degrees were obtained by the partially and completely catalytic hydrogenation and their pyrolysis performances were investigated using an apparatus equipped with an electrically heated tubular reactor. The results show that with the increase of hydrogenation degree, fuel conversion almost remains constant during the pyrolysis process(500-650°C, 4 MPa);however, the heat sink increases slightly, and the anti-coking performance significantly improves, which are highly related to their H/C ratios. Detailed characterisations reveal that the difference of the pyrolysis performance can be ascribed to the content of aromatics and cycloalkanes: the former are prone to initiate secondary reactions to form coking precursors, while the latter could act as the hydrogen donor and release hydrogen, which will terminate the radical propagation reactions and suppress the coke deposition. This work should provide the guidance for upgrading EHFs by modulating the composition of EHFs.

Water flooding can be ineffective in highly heterogeneous low-permeability beach-bar sand *** introduction of CO_(2)flooding helps boost the oil production of the reservoirs but only in an early *** the late stage of flooding,gas channeling would *** alternating gas(CO_(2))(WAG)process can be used to delay gas channeling and improve the effect of CO_(2)injection,though its adaptability to beach-bar sand reservoirs remains *** order to clarify CO_(2)injection characteristics in these reservoirs,experiments were carried out in high-temperature high-pressure nMR on-line displacement experiment apparatus to simulate different flooding modes on synthetic cores that can reflect the vertical heterogeneity of beach-bar *** CO_(2)injection modes were implemented on these cores and the displacement characteristics and residual oil distribution features during both WAG injection and continuous CO_(2)injection were analyzed quantitatively and *** results show that the scheme of WAG injection after continuous CO_(2)injection can obtain better oil displacement efficiency than that of the scheme of continuous CO_(2)injection after WAG injection,but there is no significant difference in respect of oil displacement efficiency of WAG flooding between the mode of bar-injection e beach-production(injection into bar sand e production from beach sand)and the mode of beach-injection e beach-production(injection into and production from beach sand),with the former mode having a higher oil recovery *** wider pore-size distribution range of microscopic residual oil after WAG injection shows great potential of enhancing oil recovery from subsequent continuous gas *** WAG injection is implemented prior to continuous CO_(2)injection,the displacement effect of the latter is more *** research may provide a theoretical basis for CO_(2)EOR in this type of reservoirs.

nanopore-based electrochemical technique is a promising tool for detecting single ***,detecting single proteins using a nanopipette in their native state without labeling is challenging due to the rapid translocation,which results in an inefficient signal *** our study,we finely tuned the driving force equilibrium between electrophoretic force(EPF)and electroosmotic flow(EOF)inside the nanopipette for efficient sensing of single glucose oxidase(GOD)*** duration time of GOD within the nanopipette is extended to about 4 *** strategy provided clear ionic current signals with a signal-to-noise ratio of *** EPF increased in the direction opposite to the motion of GOD,we observed a nonlinear growth in GOD’s duration *** extended the duration to about 4.4 times longer at−1000 mV compared to at−800 ***,nanopore-based electrochemical sensing could be used for single GOD molecule analysis as an ultrasensitive method.

To solve the Laplacian problems,we adopt a meshless method with the multiquadric radial basis function(MQRBF)as a basis whose center is distributed inside a circle with a fictitious radius.A maximal projection technique is developed to identify the optimal shape factor and fictitious radius by minimizing a merit function.A sample function is interpolated by theMQ-RBF to provide a trial coefficient vector to compute the merit *** can quickly determine the optimal values of the parameters within a preferred rage using the golden section search *** novel method provides the optimal values of parameters and,hence,an optimal MQ-RBF;the performance of the method is validated in numerical ***,nonharmonic problems are transformed to the Poisson equation endowed with a homogeneous boundary condition;this can overcome the problem of these problems being *** optimal MQ-RBF is extremely *** further propose a novel optimal polynomial method to solve the nonharmonic problems,which achieves high precision up to an order of 10^(−11).
