Objective:The goal of the present study is to highlight the significance of the determination of IgG avidity to herpes simplex2virus(HSV2) compared to detection of viremia by polymerase chain reaction(PCR) in relation to recurrent ***:Serum samples from pregnant patients with bad obstetric histories and control subjects were analyzed for quantitative determination of IgG specific for HSV2 by using ELISA with and without sample treatment with 8 M urea as protein-denaturing agents for measurement of avidity index(AI).PCR was performed for samples to determine HSV2 ***:Regarding avidity index 11.5%had avidity index = 100.0,11.5%has avidity index = 47%and 76.9%had avidity index>60%.Control group had AI>70%.There was statistically insignificant difference between OD of IgG in patients with viremia before urea treatment and after urea treatment compared to healthy *** there was statistically insignificant difference in OD before urea and after urea in patients with ***:From this study we can conclude that viremia for HSV2 is common finding in patients with bad obstetric *** avidity immunoglobulin G was not common finding in those *** may be explain that even reactivation of latent HSV 2 infection is associated with fetal loss.

Association of XbaI GLUT1 Polymorphism with Susceptibility to Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and Diabetic Nephropathy

Objectives: Diabetic nephropathy (DN) is one of the chronic microangiopathic complications of type 2 diabetes (T2DM) and has become the most frequent cause of end-stage renal disease. The XbaI polymorphism in the glucose transporter (GLUT1) has been suggested in the development of DN. We examined the association between XbaI polymorphism of GLUT1 and susceptibility to T2DM and development of DN. Methods: The study included 227 T2DM patients divided into 107 without DN (DM ? DN) and 120 with DN (DM + DN), in addition to 100 apparently healthy controls. Genotyping was done by polymerase chain reaction restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP). Results: The GLUT1 XbaI T allele was associated with increased susceptibility to T2DM, when comparing the healthy controls to the whole diabetic group, odds ratio (OR) = 1.899, 95% confidence interval (CI) (1.149 - 3.136), p = 0.011. This association was also significant between healthy controls and DM ? DN OR = 1.997 (1.079 - 3.699), p = 0.026 as well as between healthy controls and DM + DN OR = 1.818 (1.016 - 3.253), p = 0.042. However there was no significant association of XbaI polymorphism with DN when comparing DM ? DN to DM + DN OR = 0.910 (0.474 - 1.747), p = 0.777. Conclusion: XbaI T allele is associated with increased susceptibility to T2DM, but not to development of DN. Further studies are needed to replicate such findings.

Scandium addition significantly alters the corrosion resistance and mechanical strength of Al-3 Mg alloys. The addition of 0.3% - 0.4% scandium with 0.14% zirconium has a beneficial effect on the corrosion resistance of the alloy under smoothly stirred condition. Addition of 0.3% Sc significantly suppresses corrosion under dynamic flow conditions. It also creates an optimal strengthening effect on the alloys. The corrosion resistance is attributed to the strong passive layer of Sc2O3 formed on the ultrafine coherent precipitates of Al3Sc. A strong evidence of the pinning of grain bounda-ries by coherent nano Al3Sc precipitates is responsible for the strengthening effect.

Across many rescues,surveillance and the scientific application,there exists a broad need to perform terrain surveys and wide-area reconnaissance,for which unmanned aerial vehicles（UAVs）are increasingly *** thesis considers the task of using one or more UAVs to locate an object of interest in case that continuous viewing and rapidly tracking should it are lost for any *** study describes the trajectory optimization and the implementation of the model dynamic of Lear *** this work combines the trajectory generation,here have a many methods but I choose Bézier curve method to generate it,from this trajectory we can defined a lot of parameters（velocity,longitudinal angle,lateral angle）,after the trajectory is generated we need control just four input commands（velocity,aileron angle,rudder angle,elevator angle）for tracking the trajectory,then the development of the classical and robust controllers,which is used for the model dynamic of *** of the important steps in the thesis is simulation of the non-linear dynamic model of the Lear Jet,which is simulating in MATLAB/Simulink *** strategy of the controller design implies development of the *** results illustrate the performance of the designed *** is performed for the nominal model of the Lear jet and for the model that includes PID controller and Washout filter in feedback.

Acacia hybrids offer a great potential for paper industry in Southeast Asia due to their fast growth and ability to grow on abandoned or marginal lands. Breeding Acacia hybrids with desirable traits can be achieved through marker assisted selection(MAS) breeding. To develop a MAS program requires development of linkage maps and QTL analysis. Two mapping populations were developed through interspecific hybridization for linkage mapping and QTL analysis. All seeds per pod were cultured initially to improve hybrid yield as quality and density of linkage mapping is affected by the size of the mapping population. Progenies from two mapping populations were field planted for phenotypic and genotypic evaluation at three locations in Malaysia,(1) Forest Research Institute Malaysia field station at Segamat, Johor,(2) Borneo Tree Seeds and Seedlings Supplies Sdn, Bhd.(BTS) field trial site at Bintulu, Sarawak, and(3) Asiaprima RCF field trial site at Lancang, Pahang. During field planting, mislabeling was reported at Segamat, Johor, and a similar problem was suspected for Bintulu, Sarawak. Early screening with two isozymes effectively selected hybrid progenies, and these hybrids were subsequently further confirmed by using species-specific SNPs. During field planting, clonal mislabeling was reported and later confirmed by using a small set of STMS markers. A large set of SNPs were also used to screen all ramets in both populations. A total of 65.36% mislabeled ramets were encountered in the wood density population and 60.34% in the fibre length mapping population. No interpopulation pollen contamination was detected because all ramets found their match within the same population in ***, mislabeling was detected among ramets of the same population. Wind power, solar power and water power are technologies that can be used as the main sources of renewable energy so that the target of decarbonisation in the energy sector can be achieved. However, when compared with conventional power plants, they have a significant difference. The share of renewable energy has made a difference and posed various challenges, especially in the power generation system. The reliability of the power system can achieve the decarbonization target but this objective often collides with several challenges and failures, such that they make achievement of the target very vulnerable, Even so, the challenges and technological solutions are still very rarely discussed in the literature. This study carried out specific investigations on various technological solutions and challenges, especially in the power system domain. The results of the review of the solution matrix and the interrelated technological challenges are the most important parts to be developed in the future. Developing a matrix with various renewable technology solutions can help solve RE challenges. The potential of the developed technological solutions is expected to be able to help and prioritize them especially cost-effective energy. In addition, technology solutions that are identified in groups can help reduce certain challenges. The categories developed in this study are used to assist in determining the specific needs and increasing transparency of the renewable energy integration process in the future.

Semiconductor detectors based on a silicon pin diode are frequently used in the detection of different nuclear radiations. For the detection and dosimetry of fast neutrons, these silicon detectors are coupled with a fast neutron converter. Incident neutrons interact with the converter and produce charged particles that can deposit their energy in the detectors and produce a signal. In this study, three methods are introduced for fast neutron dosimetry by using the silicon detectors, which are： recoil proton spectroscopy, similarity of detector response function with conversion function, and a discriminator layer. Monte Carlo simulation is used to calculate the response of dosimetry systems based on these methods. In the different doses of an 241Am-Be neutron source, dosimetry responses are evaluated. The error values of measured data for dosimetry by these methods are in the range of 15-25%. We find fairly good agreement in the 241Am-Be neutron sources.

A hybrid optical switch （HOS） with physical layer of wavelength division multiplexing and optical code division multiplexing （WDM/OCDM） scheme is proposed. An additional feature to the HOS than optical cross connect （OXC） is that the controller can process requests for both circuit establishment and burst scheduling. In our study, the measurement criteria of HOS are the blocking probability, probability of error, and probability of outage. To simplify the analysis, no distinction is made between a circuit in progress and a burst in progress. Moreover, a minimum fit （MinF） resource allocation strategy is applied in order to increase the bandwidth efficiency and control the multiplexing interference of the OCDM. A 2D Markov model for the HOS is presented using the MinF strategy. Numerical results reveal that the code parameters and the resource allocation strategy greatly affect the performance. Certain periority can be achieved by assigning shorter codes to high periority users and longer codes to low periority users. Also, the probability of error and outage are reduced bv aonling the MinF strategy.
