The electronic properties and topological phases of ThXY （X = Pb, Au, Pt, Pd and Y = Sb, Bi, Sn） compounds in the presence of spin-orbit coupling, using density functional theory are investigated. The ThPtSn compound is stable in the ferromagnetic phase and the other ThXY compounds are stable in nonmagnetic phases. Band structures of these compounds in topological phases （insulator or metal） and normal phases within generalized gradient approximation （GGA） and Engel- Vosko generalized gradient approximation （GGA_EV） are compared. The ThPtSn, ThPtBi, ThPtSb, ThPdBi, and ThAuBi compounds have topological phases and the other ThXY compounds have normal phases. Band inversion strengths and topological phases of these compounds at different pressure are studied. It is seen that the band inversion strengths of these compounds are sensitive to pressure and for each compound a second-order polynomial fitted on the band inversion strengths-pressure curves.

Effects of current density, duty cycle and frequency on microstructure and particles content of electrodeposited Co-BN （hexagonal） nano composite coatings were analyzed by SEM, FESEM, EDS, AFM and XRD techniques. The microhardness, tribological behavior and wear mechanism were also investigated. Generally, as the current density and frequency increased, the particles content and microhardness of the coatings increased firstly and then decreased. Moreover, by reducing duty cycle, more particles were incorporated and higher microhardness was obtained. The best tribological behavior was achieved under the conditions duty cycle of 10%, frequency of 50 Hz and current density of 100 mA/cm2.

This paper explores the band structure effect to elucidate the feasibility of an ultra-scaled GaAs Schottky MOSFET （SBFET） in a nanoscale regime. We have employed a 20-band sp3dSs＊ tight-binding （TB） approach to compute E - K dis- persion. The considerable difference between the extracted effective masses from the TB approach and bulk values implies that quantum confinement affects the device performance. Beside high injection velocity, the ultra-scaled GaAs SBFET suffers from a low conduction band DOS in the F valley that results in serious degradation of the gate capacitance. Quan- tum confinement also results in an increment of the effective Schottky barrier height （SBH）. Enhanced Schottky barriers form a double barrier potential well along the channel that leads to resonant tunneling and alters the normal operation of the SBFET. Major factors that may lead to resonant tunneling are investigated. Resonant tunneling occurs at low temperatures and low drain voltages, and gradually diminishes as the channel thickness and the gate length scale down. Accordingly, the GaAs （100） SBFET has poor ballistic performance in nanoscale regime.

干旱是广泛影响经济和环境的主要自然灾害之一。因此，有必要采用诸如标准化降雨指数（SPI）等指标来研究干旱的影响，以辨析决策和规划的现实条件。本研究的目的是利用SPI指数分析伊朗南部法尔斯省的干旱空间格局。本文根据法尔斯省42个站点的数据，对1990–2019年间的干旱灾害格局进行了评价。评价模型中使用的干旱危害标准包括：该时期的最严重干旱程度、干旱趋势和连续干旱年的最大数量，最终的干旱灾害图是通过计算干旱强度、连续性和趋势三个指标的算术平均值获得的。三个指标的灾害图和最终灾害脆弱图采用反距离加权法（IDW）插值制图，分为无、轻度、中度、重度和极重度5个危害等级。最终的干旱脆弱性图显示，在研究区南部观察到的中度灾害区域占研究区36%，比在北部和中部观察到的严重和非常严重灾害区（占研究区64%）分布范围更小。

In this paper we address the possibility of using the Wigner function to capture the quantum entanglement present in a multi-qubit system. For that purpose, we calculate both the degree of entanglement and the Wigner function for mixed tripartite squeezed states of Greenberger–Horne–Zeilinger(GHZ) type then we compare their behaviors. We show that the role of Wigner function in detecting and quantifying bipartite quantum correlation [Int. J. Mod. Phys. B30(2016) 1650187] may be generalized to the multipartite case.

Background:The rapid expansion of built-up areas and land consumption with unsustainable spatial patterns in coastal urban areas has become a global major concern due to its far-reaching consequences for human daily life,environmental sustainability,and living ***,the research on this phenomenon in these areas has received less *** fill this gap,we conducted a study to explore the spatial patterns of land consumption at both micro-and macro-levels and to evaluate its consequences in terms of sustainable development in a coastal city-region of Mazandaran Province in northern *** achieve these two goals,we combined two methods of urban land density function and landscape expansion index(LEI)to explore spatial patterns of land consumption and also evaluated the sustainability of the region with two methods of the hierarchical analytical process(AHP)and urban sustainability index(USI).Results:The spatial patterns of land consumption in the city-region of Mazandaran from 1996 to 2016 at the macro-level changed from a decentralized-sprawl to a centralized-sprawl *** the micro-level,the dominant spatial pattern of land consumption in the city-region changed gradually from the outlying pattern towards the edge expansion and infilling ***,the spatial pattern of the built-up patches in the majority of the urban areas had conformity with the dominant pattern of the ***,the spatial patterns of land consumption in the region were in an unsustainable state and were changing towards more *** absence of urban containment policies and plans could lead to further destruction of the natural environment and increase its ***:Our results indicate that the urban areas of the coastal Mazandaran have the same behavior in the spatial pattern of land consumption at the macro-and micro-levels and all are in the same direction and follow the dominant pattern of the region.

Recently,some concepts such as Hom-algebras,Hom-Lie algebras,Hom-Lie admissible algebras,Hom-coalgebras are studied and some classical properties of algebras and some geometric objects are extended on *** this paper by recalling the concept of Hom-ρ-commutative algebras,the authurs intend to develop some of the most classical results in Riemannian geometry such as metric,connection,torsion tensor,curvature tensor on it and also they discuss about differential operators and get some results of differential calculus by using *** notions of symplectic structures and Poisson structures are included and an example ofρ-Poisson bracket is given.
