Angiographic leakage of polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy on indocyanine angiography

Background There is no detailed report about the angiographic leakage of polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy （PGV） lesions on indocyanine green （ICG） angiography. This study aimed to investigate the angiographic leakage of polypoidal lesions in PCV on ICG angiography. Methods One hundred and forty-four eyes of 137 patients diagnosed as PCV were prospectively observed. Fundus examination, fluorescein angiography, and ICG angiography were performed. Leakage of polypoidal lesions and clinical features were recorded according to the angiograms. Results In all 144 eyes, 110 eyes showed angiographic leakage （leakage group） on ICG angiography and three subtypes of leakage group were noted, which were polypoidal dilations leakage （47 eyes, 42.7%）, branching vascular networks leakage （14 eyes, 12.7%） and leakage of both （49 eyes, 44.5%）. The other 34 eyes showed regression of polypoidal lesions （regression group）. In leakage group, the rates of pigment epithelial detachment （PED）, best corrected visual acuity （BCVA）〈0.1 and old subretinal hemorrhages were 56.4% （62 eyes）, 19.1% （21 eyes）, and 4.6% （5 eyes） respectively, compared with 8.8% （3 eyes）, 50% （17 eyes） and 38.2% （13 eyes） of regression group （P 〈0.001）. The history of regression group was significantly longer （P 〈0.001）. Conclusions Angiographic leakage and regression can be observed in PCV lesions. Leakage of both polypoidal dilations and branching vascular networks is the most common subtype in leakage group. PCV in leakage group is more likely to be related to PED, better BCVA and shorter history, while PCV regression group tends to relevant to old subretinal hemorrhage, worse BCVA and longer history. This may reflect that the former is active or in the early course while the later is resting or in the late phase of PCV.

Background:There is no consensus on whether triplet regimen is better than doublet regimen in the first-line treatment of advanced gastric cancer(AGC).We aimed to compare the efficacy and safety of oxaliplatin plus capecitabine(XELOX)and epirubicin,oxaliplatin,plus capecitabine(EOX)regimens in treating ***:This phase III trial enrolled previously untreated patients with AGC whowere randomly assigned to receive the XELOXor *** primary endpoint was non-inferiority in progression-free survival(PFS)for XELOX as compared with EOX on an intention-to-treat ***:Between April 10,2015 andAugust 20,2020,448AGCpatientswere randomized to receive XELOX(n=222)or EOX(n=226).The median PFS(mPFS)was 5.0 months(95%confidence interval[CI]=4.5-6.0 months)in the XELOX arm and 5.5 months(95%CI=5.0-6.0 months)in the EOX arm(hazard ratio[HR]=0.989,95%CI=0.812-1.203;P_(non-inferiority)=0.003).There was no significant difference inmedian overall survival(mOS)(12.0 vs.12.0months,P=0.384)or objective response rate(37.4%vs.45.1%,P=0.291)between the two *** patients with poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma and liver metastasis,the EOX arm had a significantly longer mOS(P=0.021)and a trend of longer mPFS(P=0.073)than the XELOX *** rate of grade 3/4 adverse events(AEs)was 42.2%(90/213)in the XELOX arm and 72.5%(156/215)in the EOX arm(P=0.001).The global health-related quality of life(QoL)score was significantly higher in the XELOX arm than in the EOX arm during ***:This non-inferiority trial demonstrated that the doublet regimen was as effective as the triplet regimen and had a better safety profile and QoL as a first-line treatment for AGC ***,the triplet regimen might have a survival advantage in patients with poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma and liver metastasis.

The Large sky Area Multi-Object Fiber Spectroscopic Telescope（LAMOST） general survey is a spectroscopic survey that will eventually cover approximately half of the celestial sphere and collect 10 million spectra of stars, galaxies and QSOs. Objects in both the pilot survey and the first year regular survey are included in the LAMOST DR1. The pilot survey started in October 2011 and ended in june 2012, and the data have been released to the public as the LAMOST Pilot Data Release in August 2012. The regular survey started in September 2012, and completed its first year of operation in june 2013. The LAMOST DR1 includes a total of 1202 plates containing 2 955 336 spectra, of which 1 790 879 spectra have observed signalto-noise ratio（SNR） ≥ 10. All data with SNR ≥ 2 are formally released as LAMOST DR1 under the LAMOST data policy. This data release contains a total of 2 204 696 spectra, of which 1 944 329 are stellar spectra, 12 082 are galaxy spectra and 5017 are quasars. The DR1 not only includes spectra, but also three stellar catalogs with measured parameters： late A,FGK-type stars with high quality spectra（1 061 918 entries）, A-type stars（100 073 entries）, and M-type stars（121 522 entries）. This paper introduces the survey design, the observational and instrumental limitations, data reduction and analysis, and some caveats. A description of the FITS structure of spectral files and parameter catalogs is also provided.

We present the observational results from a detailed timing analysis of the black hole candidate EXO 1846-031 during its outburst in 2019 with the observations of Insight-HXMT,NICER and *** outburst can be classified roughly into four different ***-C quasi-periodic oscillations(QPOs)observed by NICER(about 0.1-6 Hz)and Insight-HXMT(about 0.7-8 Hz)are also reported in this ***,we study various physical quantities related to QPO *** QPO rms-frequency relationship in the energy band 1-10 keV indicates that there is a turning pointing in frequency around2 Hz,which is similar to that of GRS 1915+105.A possible hypothesis for the relationship above may be related to the inclination of the source,which may require a high inclination to explain *** relationships between QPO frequency and QPO rms,hardness,total fractional rms and count rate have also been found in other transient sources,which can indicate that the origin of type-C QPOs is non-thermal.

This paper describes the data release of the LAMOST pilot survey, which includes data reduction, calibration, spectral analysis, data products and data access. The accuracy of the released data and the information about the FITS headers of spectra are also introduced. The released data set includes 319 000 spectra and a catalog of these objects.

目的了解鄂西南地区新生儿急性呼吸窘迫综合征(ARDS)的临床特点及转归。方法采用回顾性临床流行病学方法,根据新生儿ARDS蒙特勒诊断标准对2017年1~12月鄂西南地区17家二级或三级医院新生儿科/儿科收治的新生儿ARDS病例资料进行调查分析。结果所纳入的鄂西南地区17家医院2017年1年内共收治新生儿7150例,其中确诊新生儿ARDS 66例(0.92%),包括轻度23例(35%),中度28例(42%),重度15例(23%)。新生儿ARDS的主要原发疾病包括:围生期窒息(23例,35%)、肺炎(18例,27%)、败血症(12例,18%)、胎粪吸入综合征(10例,15%)。66例ARDS患儿中,产妇年龄≥35岁10例(15%),宫内窘迫30例(45%),1 min Apgar评分0~7分32例(49%),胎心监测异常24例(36%),羊水胎粪污染21例(32%)。脑室内出血是最常见的合并症(12例),其次为新生儿休克(9例)、动脉导管未闭(8例)。66例ARDS患儿在针对原发病治疗的基础上,均给予机械通气治疗。死亡10例,病死率为15%(10/66);治愈、好转56例(85%)。结论鄂西南地区新生儿ARDS以轻/中度为主;围生期窒息和感染可能是该地区新生儿ARDS的主要病因;脑室内出血是最常见的合并症;综合治疗后患儿存活率较高。

The Circular Electron Positron Collider(CEPC)is a large scientific project initiated and hosted by China,fostered through extensive collaboration with international *** complex comprises four accelerators:a 30 GeV Linac,a 1.1 GeV Damping Ring,a Booster capable of achieving energies up to 180 GeV,and a Collider operating at varying energy modes(Z,W,H,and tt).The Linac and Damping Ring are situated on the surface,while the subterranean Booster and Collider are housed in a 100 km circumference underground tunnel,strategically accommodating future expansion with provisions for a potential Super Proton Proton Collider(SPPC).The CEPC primarily serves as a Higgs *** its baseline design with synchrotron radiation(SR)power of 30 MW per beam,it can achieve a luminosity of 5×10^(34)cm^(-2)s^(-1)per interaction point(IP),resulting in an integrated luminosity of 13 ab^(-1)for two IPs over a decade,producing 2.6 million Higgs *** the SR power to 50 MW per beam expands the CEPC's capability to generate 4.3 million Higgs bosons,facilitating precise measurements of Higgs coupling at sub-percent levels,exceeding the precision expected from the HL-LHC by an order of *** Technical design Report(TDR)follows the Preliminary Conceptual design Report(Pre-CDR,2015)and the Conceptual design Report(CDR,2018),comprehensively detailing the machine's layout,performance metrics,physical design and analysis,technical systems design,R&D and prototyping efforts,and associated civil engineering ***,it includes a cost estimate and a preliminary construction timeline,establishing a framework for forthcoming engineering design phase and site selection *** is anticipated to begin around 2027-2028,pending government approval,with an estimated duration of 8 *** commencement of experiments and data collection could potentially be initiated in the mid-2030s.

The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory(juNO)features a 20 kt multi-purpose underground liquid scintillator sphere as its main *** of juNO's features make it an excellent location for^8B solar neutrino measurements,such as its low-energy threshold,high energy resolution compared with water Cherenkov detectors,and much larger target mass compared with previous liquid scintillator *** this paper,we present a comprehensive assessment of juNO's potential for detecting^8B solar neutrinos via the neutrino-electron elastic scattering process.A reduced 2 MeV threshold for the recoil electron energy is found to be achievable,assuming that the intrinsic radioactive background^(238)U and^(232)Th in the liquid scintillator can be controlled to 10^(-17)g/*** ten years of data acquisition,approximately 60,000 signal and 30,000 background events are *** large sample will enable an examination of the distortion of the recoil electron spectrum that is dominated by the neutrino flavor transformation in the dense solar matter,which will shed new light on the inconsistency between the measured electron spectra and the predictions of the standard three-flavor neutrino oscillation *** m^(2)_(21)=4.8times10^(-5);(7.5times10^(-5))eV^(2),juNO can provide evidence of neutrino oscillation in the Earth at approximately the 3sigma(2sigma)level by measuring the non-zero signal rate variation with respect to the solar zenith ***,juNO can simultaneously measuredelta m^2_(21)using^8B solar neutrinos to a precision of 20% or better,depending on the central value,and to sub-percent precision using reactor antineutrinos.A comparison of these two measurements from the same detector will help understand the current mild inconsistency between the value of delta m^2_(21)reported by solar neutrino experiments and the KamLAND experiment.
