Surface-state controlled synthesis of hydrophobic and hydrophilic carbon dots

It is of great significance to synthesize carbon dots(CDs)with desirable hydrophilicity for the ever-growing application of CDs in different fields.In this study,the hydrophilic and hydrophobic CDs were facilely prepared by solvothermal treatment of o-dihydroxybenzene and urea in N,N-dimethylformamide(DMF).Optimization experiments revealed that the solvothermal temperature has a great impact on the surface states of the CDs.The hydrophobic CDs with a contact angle of 110.7°was obtained at 200℃.The structural and optical characterizations,along with theoretical calculations elucidated that the lipophilic nature of the CDs was resulting from the formation of polymer chains.The presence of extended conjugated sp^(2)-domains and amino groups contributed to the red emission of the CDs synthesized at low reaction temperatures(160-200℃).With the further increase of solvothermal temperature,the hydrophobic CDs were gradually transformed to the hydrophilic state accompanying the blue shift of the fluorescence of the CDs.The highly hydrophilic CDs with a contact angle of 25.9°were obtained at 240℃ due to the increased formation of hydrophilic functional groups on the surface of CDs.The red emissive CDs exhibited a sensitive color and fluorescence response to ethanol content while the fluorescence of the blue emissive CDs remained constant.By combining the two kinds of CDs,a dual-emission sensor was constructed,which was successfully applied for the evaluation of the alcoholic strength in commercial Baijiu commodities in both fluorometric and colorimetric modes.

According to the latest global cancer statistics,colorectal cancer(CRC)has emerged as the third most prevalent malignant tumor across the globe.In recent decades,the medical field has implemented several levels of CRC screening tests,encompassing fecal tests,endoscopic examinations,radiological examinations and blood tests.Previous studies have shown that leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor B2(LILRB2)is involved in inhibiting immune cell function,immune evasion,and promoting tumor progression in acute myeloid leukemia and nonsmall cell lung cancer.However,its interaction with CRC has not been reported yet.Recently,a study published in the World Journal of Gastroenterology revealed that LILRB2 and its ligand,angiopoietin-like protein 2,are markedly overexpressed in CRC.This overexpression is closely linked to tumor progression and is indicative of a poor prognosis.The study highlights the potential of utilizing the concentration of LILRB2 in serum as a promising biomarker for tumors.However,there is still room for discussion regarding the data processing and analysis in this research.

苹果早期瘀伤的近红外光谱和多波段相机成像检测

苹果早期轻微瘀伤是影响苹果品质的重要因素。早期轻微瘀伤在可见光下肉眼无法识别,为寻找一种高效的苹果早期轻微瘀伤识别方法,以红富士苹果为研究对象,通过倒立摆装置人为制造不同程度的苹果瘀伤。首先采用傅里叶变换近红外光谱仪采集80个无损样品、60个轻度损伤样品以及60个重度损伤样品各自在损伤后0、10、20和30 min的近红外漫反射光谱;采用SNV作为光谱数据预处理方法,谱区范围选择4000~9000 cm^(-1);主成分个数为9,采用偏最小二乘法-判别分析(PLS-DA)和支持向量机(SVM)两种方法建立“无损-有损”二分类模型,预测集的平均识别率分别为85.00%和89.80%,模型识别效果有待提高。在以上实验结果的基础上,使用波段范围为1000~2350 nm的近红外相机采集无损、轻度瘀伤、中度瘀伤和重度瘀伤的100个苹果样品的近红外图像,相机加装1150和1400 nm的滤光片后分别再次采集这些苹果样品的近红外图像,所有图像均在瘀伤产生后立即采集。共采集3个波段、4种瘀伤程度的苹果样本图像共1200张。提取图像吸光度信息并分别建立KNN、SVM和DT分类模型,DT法“无损-损伤”二分类模型和“无损-轻度-重度”三分类模型的识别率最高,分别为99.00%和94.67%。相比基于近红外光谱的苹果早期外部瘀伤识别方法,近红外相机多波段成像法在苹果表面早期瘀伤和瘀伤程度分类的应用中都有更高的识别准确率。与此同时近红外相机成像方法方便确定瘀伤的位置,这为苹果表面瘀伤的实时在线检测与分类提供了一种快速高效的新思路。

An Experimental Analysis of Gas-Liquid Flow Breakdown in a T-Junction

When a gas-liquid two-phase flow(GLTPF)enters a parallel separator through a T-junction,it generally splits unevenly.This phenomenon can seriously affect the operation efficiency and safety of the equipment located downstream.In order to investigate these aspects and,more specifically,the so-called bias phenomenon(all gas and liquid flowing to one pipe,while the other pipe is a liquid column that fluctuates up and down),laboratory experiments were carried out by using a T-junction connected to two parallel vertical pipes.Moreover,a GLTPF prediction model based on the principle of minimum potential energy was introduced.The research results indicate that this model can accurately predict the GLTPF state in parallel risers.The boundary of the slug flow and the churn flow in the opposite pipe can be predicted.Overall,according to the results,the pressure drop curves of the two-phase flow in the parallel risers are basically the same when there is no bias phenomenon,but the pressure drop in the parallel riser displays a large deviation when there is a slug flow-churn flow.Only when the parallel riser is in a state of asymmetric flow and one of the risers produces churn flow,the two-phase flow is prone to produce the bias phenomenon.

A new type of polarization sensitive interferometer is proposed,named the Delta interferometer,inspired by its geometry resembling the Greek letter Delta.The main difference between the Delta interferometer and other existing interferometers,such as michelson,Mach-Zehnder and Young's double-slit interferometers,is that the two interfering paths are asymmetrical in the Delta interferometer.The visibility of the first-order interference pattern observed in the Delta interferometer is dependent on the polarization of the incidental light.Optical coherence theory is employed to interpret this phenomenon and single-mode continuous-wave laser light is employed to verify the theoretical predictions.The theoretical and experimental results are consistent.The Delta interferometer is a perfect tool to study the reflection of electromagnetic fields in different polarizations and may find applications in polarization-sensitive scenarios.

目的研究川崎病急性期采用不同剂量阿司匹林治疗对临床疗效的影响,探讨阿司匹林的最佳剂量方案。方法利用医院信息系统随机抽取2022年3月—5月住院的150例川崎病病例进行回顾性分析。根据阿司匹林剂量不同分为3组:高剂量组(>50 mg·kg^(-1)·d^(-1))、中剂量组(30~50 mg·kg^(-1)·d^(-1))和低剂量组(<30 mg·kg^(-1)·d^(-1))。比较3组患儿退热时间、免疫球蛋白无反应发生率、实验室指标改善情况及不良反应发生率。结果阿司匹林不同给药剂量下,3组患者体温恢复情况差异无统计学意义;患者出现免疫球蛋白无反应,3组间差异无统计学意义。治疗前,3组患儿的白细胞(white blood cell,WBC)计数、血小板(blood platelet,PLT)计数、C反应蛋白(C-reactive protein,CRP)计数比较,差异无统计学意义;治疗后,3组患儿WBC、PLT以及CRP计数均较治疗前明显改善,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);但治疗后3组患者的上述各项指标比较,差异无统计学意义。采用中、高剂量阿司匹林治疗,患儿出现不良反应的发生率更高。结论免疫球蛋白联合不同剂量阿司匹林应用于川崎病均有较好的治疗效果,考虑到用药的安全性和经济性,建议采用低剂量给药方案。

Seasonal variation and sources of atmospheric polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in a background site on the Tibetan Plateau

The study of atmospheric polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs) in northeastern Tibetan Plateau with fragile ecological environment and complex atmospheric circulation system is blank. To understand the characteristics and sources of persistent organic pollutants in the atmosphere of the northeastern Tibetan Plateau, we monitored levels in the central Qilian Mountain. From 2016 to 2017, we collected 45-pair(particle + gas) samples using active air samplers to investigate the sources, transport paths, and their influencing factors.Sources of PAHs were analysed with a source diagnostic model, and atmospheric transport paths were calculated. The concentration range for Σ15PAHs was 439–4666 pg/m^(3), and the average was 2015 pg/m^(3). The PAHs in central Qilian Mountain are mainly low molecular weight(LMW) PAHs. Winter concentrations of PAHs were higher than those in summer. The transport of PAHs is mainly affected by westerlies, and there are seasonal differences. Source analysis showed that PAHs mainly came from coal and biomass combustion and vehicle emissions, with seasonal differences. This study clarifies the concentration and seasonal variation of PAHs in the northern Tibetan Plateau, which is conducive to understanding the atmospheric transport process and fate of pollutants. The background site of Qilian Mountains located in the Silk Road economic belt has the value and significance of longterm observation of pollutants.

Hybrid rice(Oryza sativa)generally outperforms its inbred parents in yield and stress tolerance,a phenomenon termed heterosis,but the underlying mechanism is not completely understood.Here,we combined transcriptome,proteome,physiological,and heterosis analyses to examine the salt response of super hybrid rice Chaoyou1000(CY1000).In addition to surpassing the mean values for its two parents(mid-parent heterosis),CY1000 exhibited a higher reactive oxygen species scavenging ability than both its parents(over-parent heterosis or heterobeltiosis).Nonadditive expression and allele-specific gene expression assays showed that the glutathione S-transferase gene OsGSTU26 and the amino acid transporter gene OsAAT30 may have major roles in heterosis for salt tolerance,acting in an overdominant fashion in CY1000.Furthermore,we identified OsWRKY72 as a common transcription factor that binds and regulates OsGSTU26 and OsAAT30.The salt-sensitive phenotypes were associated with the OsWRKY72^(paternal)genotype or the OsAAT30^(maternal)genotype in core rice germplasm varieties.OsWRKY72^(paternal)specifically repressed the expression of OsGSTU26 under salt stress,leading to salinity sensitivity,while OsWRKY72^(maternal)specifically repressed OsAAT30,resulting in salinity tolerance.These results suggest that the OsWRKY72-OsAAT30/OsGSTU26 module may play an important role in heterosis for salt tolerance in an overdominant fashion in CY1000 hybrid rice,providing valuable clues to elucidate the mechanism of heterosis for salinity tolerance in hybrid rice.

目的:探讨补中益气汤对慢性疲劳综合征(CFS)大鼠肠道菌群结构及胃肠功能的影响。方法:取30只SD大鼠随机分为正常对照组、模型组、治疗组,每组10只,予以对应干预。检测肠道菌群;测定大鼠小肠推进率,观察结肠组织病理改变以及血浆中胃动素(MTL)、胃泌素(GAS)和血管活性肠肽(VIP)水平。结果:与模型组比较,治疗组大鼠OTUs数、Chao1指数、Shannon指数和基于丰度的覆盖估计值(ACE)指数显著升高(P<0.05,P<0.01),Simpson指数显著降低(P<0.01),结肠组织病理改变减轻,小肠推进率和血浆MTL、GAS水平升高(P<0.01,P<0.05),血浆VIP水平显著降低(P<0.01)。结论:补中益气汤可提高CFS大鼠肠道菌群丰度及多样性,增加肠道有益菌生长,抑制有害菌生长,改善大鼠胃肠功能。

生物胶-纤维固化黄土的三轴剪切特性研究

为了研究生物胶-纤维固化土护坡材料在三维受力下的剪切强度特性,以瓜尔豆胶为胶凝材料,以聚丙烯纤维为增韧筋材,在控制胶-筋配比条件下对黄土开展了一系列三轴压缩试验,分析了应力-应变曲线特征,抗剪强度参数变化规律以及主要破坏形式,并讨论了瓜尔豆胶、聚丙烯纤维对黄土的协同固化机理。试验结果表明:瓜尔豆胶能有效提升小应变时的偏应力值,聚丙烯纤维能有效改变应力-应变曲线形状,当两者同时加入黄土时,不同围压下的应力-应变曲线均表现为持续硬化型,具有良好的破坏韧性及较高的偏应力值,且不受应变大小的影响;瓜尔豆胶和聚丙烯纤维混合有利于提高土体的抗剪强度,随着生物胶含量或纤维含量增加,抗剪强度先增大后减小或逐渐增大,当瓜尔豆胶含量为1.0%,聚丙烯纤维含量为0.5%时,固化黄土的抗剪强度达到最优,相较于素黄土,黏聚力提升了230.6%,内摩擦角提升了24.8%;瓜尔豆胶-聚丙烯纤维搭配可有效抑制土体的侧向变形,最优胶-筋配比下的土样破坏形态为轻微的鼓胀破坏。在瓜尔豆胶的凝胶作用、聚丙烯纤维的拉筋作用及其互促作用的协同下,土体的三轴剪切特性得到全面提升,可为路基边坡防护工程设计参数的选取提供重要的理论依据。
