Bridging microstructure and crystallography with the crack propagation behavior in Ti-6Al-4V alloy fabricated via dual laser beam bilateral synchronous welding

The microstructure evolution and crack propagation behavior were systematically and thoroughly inves-tigated inα/βTi-6Al-4V alloy obtained under the inhomogeneous heating effect of a coupled dual laser beam via a combination of postmortem electron backscattering diffraction analyses and numerical *** effect of microstructural attributes(grain size,grain boundary,dislocation)on the fracture property and crack propagation behavior was investigated based on thermodynamic and crystallographic analyses,as well as the examinations of dislocation density and the Burgers *** quantifying the degree of variant selection using the degree of variant selection(DVS)equation,it was found that the higher the energy input,the weaker the variant selection,as the secondaryαphase suppresses further dislocation-induced variant selection via autocatalytic nucleation and *** proportion of high an-gle grain boundaries(HAGBs)concentrated around 60°gradually increases with improving cooling rate,mainly due to the change in the tendency of martensite transformation to be *** grain refine-ment was the primary mechanism for the enhancement of Ti-6Al-4V alloy T-joints,while the suppression of crack propagation by HAGBs also played a crucial role in improving strength and *** crack propagation direction frequently changes when the order is approximately parallel to the short axis ofαmartensite grains,forming a zigzag propagation *** above findings should shed light on optimiz-ing dual laser beam bilateral synchronous welding(DLBSW)technology to tailor the microstructure and improve the mechanical properties of Ti-6Al-4V alloy T-joints.

Golden-flower fungus,the only dominant microorganism determining the Fu-brick tea quality through fermentation and the important microbe in Liupao tea,is considered a potential probiotic fungus based on its anti-obesity ***,the classification of golden-flower fungi is still controversial;the anti-obesity effect of golden-flower fungus polysaccharides remains *** this study,we identify a golden-flower strain as Aspergillus cristatus based on morphological characteristics and multigene phylogeny analysis,which resolves the controversy of ***,we find *** polysaccharides(ACPS)attenuate obesity in *** modulate gut bacterial *** which Akkermansia,Akkermansia muciniphila,Bacteroides,Romboutsia,Blautia,and Desulfovibrio are considered the core microbes regulated by *** increase fecal total short-chain fatty acid content and serum,hepatic,and fecal total bile acid ***,ACPS-induced gut microbiota alteration plays a causal role in the protection from obesity,according to a fecal transplantation ***,ACPS ameliorate obesity by regulating gut microbiota and gut microbiota-related metabolites.

This study aimed to characterize and identify calcium-chelating peptides from rabbit bone collagen and explore the underlying chelating *** peptides and calcium were extracted from rabbit bone by instant ejection steam explosion(ICSE)combined with enzymatic hydrolysis,followed by chelation reaction to prepare rabbit bone peptide-calcium chelate(RBCP-Ca).The chelating sites were further analyzed by liquid chromatography-tandem mass(LC-MS/MS)spectrometry while the chelating mechanism and binding modes were *** structural characterization revealed that RBCP successfully chelated with calcium ***,LC-MS/MS analysis indicated that the binding sites included both acidic amino acids(Asp and Glu)and basic amino acids(Lys and Arg),Interestingly,three binding modes,namely Inter-Linking,Loop-Linking and Mono-Linking were for the first time found,while Inter-Linking mode accounted for the highest proportion(75.1%),suggesting that chelation of calcium ions frequently occurred between two ***,this study provides a theoretical basis for the elucidation of chelation mechanism of calcium-chelating peptides.

China's agriculture green development: from concept to actions

China has initiated a green transformation plan in 2015, which was soon applied to agriculture, known as the agriculture green development(AGD)initiative, with the goals of achieving food security, high resource use efficiency, and an ecofriendly environment. To assess the agricultural transformation from 1997 to 2020, this paper proposes a national-scale indicator system consisting three dimensions(socioeconomic, food production and eco-environmental) and ten sub-dimensions to quantify the AGD *** study showed that AGD score in China was at a moderate level during 1997–2010, scoring 40 out of 100. During this stage, decreased scores in the sub-dimensions of resource consumption, environmental quality, and environmental cost have offset the improvement in the socioeconomic dimension, resulting in fluctuated scores around 40. In the second stage(2011–2020), China's AGD score improved but still at moderate level, scoring an average of 46.3, with each dimension increasing by 5.3%–25.0%. These results indicate that China has made progress in the agricultural transformation, transitioning from conceptualization to actions through the implementation of various policies and projects. However, the study emphasizes the need for more effort to address the insufficient and unbalanced development, along with the growing eco-environmental challenges, especially the trade-offs among dimensions.
