A method for the generation of alkyl radicals from inert alkyl C-o bonds has been developed via an iron/borane reagent/alkoxide catalytic system,which can be employed for the synthesis of amines from nitroarenes with excellent *** reductive amination features good functional group compatibility and enables the late-stage amination of bio-relevant compounds,thus providing good opportunities for applications in medicinal *** mechanistic studies reveal that the amine synthesis may be involving a Fe/Li cation-assisted single electron transfer pathway to form alkyl radicals,and the low-valent iron speciesmaybetheactive intermediates.

The hot deformation behavior of an ultralow-carbon microalloyed steel was investigated using an MMS-200 thermal simulation test machine in a temperature range of 1073-1373 K and strain rate range of 0.01-10 *** results show that the flow stress decreases with increasing deformation temperature or decreasing strain *** strain-compensated constitutive model based on the Arrhenius equation for this steel was established using the true stress-strain data obtained from a hot compression ***,a new constitutive model based on the Z-parameter was proposed for this *** predictive ability of two constitutive models was compared with statistical *** results indicate the new constitutive model based on the Z-parameter can more accurately predict the flow stress of an ultralow-carbon microalloyed steel during hot *** dynamic recrystallization(DRX)nucleation mechanism at different deformation temperatures was observed and analyzed by transmission electron microscopy(TEM),and strain-induced grain boundary migration was observed at 1373 K/0.01 s^-1.

18S,5.8S,and 28S ribosomal RNAs(rRNAs)are cotranscribed as a pre-ribosomal RNA(pre-rRNA)from the rDNA by RNA polymerase I whose activity is vigorous during the S-phase,leading to a conflict with rDNA *** conflict is resolved partly by replication-fork-barrier(RFB)-sites sequences located downstream of the rDNA and RFB-binding proteins such as ***,how Ttf1 is displaced from RFB-sites to allow replication fork progression remains ***,we reported that loss-of-function of Bms1l,a nucleolar GTPase,upregulates rDNA transcription,causes replication-fork stall,and arrests cell cycle at the S-to-G2 transition;however,the G1-to-S transition is constitutively active characterized by persisting DNA ***,ubf,tif-IA,and taf1b marking rDNA transcription,Chk2,Rad51,and p53 marking DNA-damage response,and Rpa2,PCNA,Fen1,and Ttf1 marking replication fork stall are all highly elevated in bms1l *** found that Bms1 interacts with Ttf1 in addition to ***,we identified RFB-sites for zebrafish Ttf1 through chromatin immunoprecipitation sequencing and showed that Bms1 disassociates the Ttf1–RFB complex with its GTPase *** propose that Bms1 functions to balance rDNA transcription and replication at the S-phase through interaction with Rcl1 and Ttf1,***1 and Bms1 together might impose an S-phase checkpoint at the rDNA loci.

A case of post-partum hypopituitarism with diabetes insipidus is described. This condition is extremely rare and not many cases have been reported in the literature. The insufficiency of the posterior lobe of the pituitary is proved by the absence of normal physiologic response to intravenously administered hypertonic saline solution and the nice efficient response to the administration of exogenous vasopressin. The pitfalls in diagnosis and the masking of symptoms caused by concomitant glucocorticoid and thyroid hormone insufficiency are briefly discussed.

Fullerene derivatives are highly attractive materials in solar cells,organic thermoelectrics,and other ***,the intrinsic low electron mobility and electrical conductivity restrict their potential device performance,such as perovskite solar cells(PSCs).Herein,we successfully enhanced the electric properties and morphology of phenyl-C61-butyric acid methyl ester(PCBM)by n-doping it with a benzimidazoline derivative,9-(1,3-dimethyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-benzoimidazol-2-yl)-julolidine(JLBI-H)via a solution *** found the n-doping can not only improve the conductivity and optimize the band alignment but also enable the PCBM to have a constantly strong charge extraction ability in a wide temperature from 173 to 373 K,which guarantees a stable photovoltaic performance of the corresponding PSCs under a wide range of operating *** the JLBI-H-doped PCBM,we improved the efficiency from 17.9%to 19.8%,along with enhanced stability of the nonencapsulated devices following the aging protocol of ISOS-D-1.
