Elovl4 is a fatty acyl elongase which participates in the biosynthesis of long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids(LCPUFA).Herein we isolated and functionally characterized the elovl4a gene in the large yellow croaker Larimichthys crocea,and investigated the regulatory effects of transcription factors Hnf4α,Lxrα,Pparαon the activity of elovl4a *** expression pattern revealed that elovl4a was widely expressed in several tissues and predominantly in *** expression in yeast showed that *** Elovl4a could effectively elongate both C18 and C20 PUFA substrates to C22 fatty *** addition,the affinity of large yellow croaker Elovl4a to n-6 series fatty acids is weak and cannot prolong 18:2n-6 and 18:***,*** elovl4a reporter activities were elevated by 1.31-,1.39-and 1.48-fold via over-expression of Lxrα,Pparαand Hnf4α,*** above findings can enrich the knowledge of biosynthesis pathway of LC-PUFA in the large yellow croaker and contribute to elucidate the LC-PUFA anabolism mechanism in fish.

纳米纤维素因其来源丰富、易于改性、力学性能优异、安全无毒以及可生物降解等特性,为生物医用水凝胶的功能化开辟了新机遇。目前,基于纳米纤维素的功能化水凝胶在生物医学领域的研究中备受关注。介绍了纳米纤维素的分子结构和制备方法,探讨了纳米纤维素对水凝胶功能化的设计策略,阐明纳米纤维素在功能化水凝胶中的作用机制,总结了纳米纤维素基功能化水凝胶在药物递送、创伤敷料以及组织支架等生物医用领域的最新研究进展,最后对纳米纤维素基水凝胶在生物医学领域的发展机遇和挑战进行了简要概括。

Photothermal therapy(PTT)has received a lot of attention as a promising strategy for eliminating tumors ***,the unavoidable inflammatory response during the treatment might result in a high concentration of M2-like tumor-associated macrophages(TAMs),increasing the risk of tumor recurrence and *** address this problem,gold-based nanocarriers(PGMP-small interfering RNA(siRNA)nanoparticles(NPs))containing STAT6siRNA,that inhibited M2-like TAM polarization,were designed and investigated for PTT and gene therapy of non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).In an NSCLC model,the nanocarriers demonstrated excellent siRNA delivery ability and a high gene transfection rate of up to 90%in macrophages,thus inhibiting the polarization of about 87%of M2-like TAMs and effectively suppressing the invasion and metastasis of ***,the unique gold nanosphere structure offered improved PTT and contrast-enhanced ultrasound imaging,thus contributing to the efficient elimination and real-time monitoring of the tumor *** nanocarriers with combined gene and photothermal therapeutic capabilities improved the efficacy of single-modality treatment,and showed the potential to inhibit cancer cell recurrence and metastasis to ultimately cure NSCLC.

Smoke and NO_(x)emission characteristics of in-use construction machinery base on substantial field measurement:A case study in Beijing,China

To understand the smoke level and NO_(x)emission characteristics of in-use construction machinery in Beijing,we selected 905 construction machines in Beijing from August 2022 to April 2023 to monitor the emission level of smoke and NO_(x).The exhaust smoke level and excessive emission situation of different machinery types were identified,and their NO_(x)emission levels were monitored according to the free acceleration *** investigated the correlation of NO_(x)and smoke emission,and proposed suggestions for controlling pollution discharge from construction machinery in the *** results show that the exhaust smoke level was 0–2.62 m^(−1),followed a log-normal distribution(μ=-1.73,δ=1.09,R^(2)=0.99),with a 5.64%exceedance *** observed amongmachinery types,with low-power engine forklifts showing higher smoke *** NO_(x)emission range was 71–1516 ppm,followed a normal distribution(μ=565.54,δ=309.51,R^(2)=0.83).Differences among machinery types were relatively *** rated net power had the most significant impact on NO_(x)***,NO_(x)emissions from construction machinery need further ***,we found a weak negative correlation(p<0.05)between the emission level of smoke and NO_(x),that is the synergic emission reduction effect is poor,emphasizing the need for NO_(x)emission *** the future,the oversight in Beijing should prioritize phasing out ChinaⅠand ChinaⅡmachinery,and monitor emissions from highpower engine ChinaⅢmachinery.

Forest fires pose a serious threat to ecological balance, air quality, and the safety of both humans and wildlife. This paper presents an improved model based on You Only Look Once version 5 (YOLOv5), named YOLO Lightweight Fire Detector (YOLO-LFD), to address the limitations of traditional sensor-based fire detection methods in terms of real-time performance and accuracy. The proposed model is designed to enhance inference speed while maintaining high detection accuracy on resource-constrained devices such as drones and embedded systems. Firstly, we introduce Depthwise Separable Convolutions (DSConv) to reduce the complexity of the feature extraction network. Secondly, we design and implement the Lightweight Faster Implementation of Cross Stage Partial (CSP) Bottleneck with 2 Convolutions (C2f-Light) and the CSP Structure with 3 Compact Inverted Blocks (C3CIB) modules to replace the traditional C3 modules. This optimization enhances deep feature extraction and semantic information processing, thereby significantly increasing inference speed. To enhance the detection capability for small fires, the model employs a Normalized Wasserstein Distance (NWD) loss function, which effectively reduces the missed detection rate and improves the accuracy of detecting small fire sources. Experimental results demonstrate that compared to the baseline YOLOv5s model, the YOLO-LFD model not only increases inference speed by 19.3% but also significantly improves the detection accuracy for small fire targets, with only a 1.6% reduction in overall mean average precision (mAP)@0.5. Through these innovative improvements to YOLOv5s, the YOLO-LFD model achieves a balance between speed and accuracy, making it particularly suitable for real-time detection tasks on mobile and embedded devices.
