Residual stresses produced in polycrystalline CBN abrasive grits during a high-frequency induction brazing process are calculated by using ?nite element analysis, with a consideration of the nonuniform temperature distribution in the induction brazing model. The in?uences of induction brazing parameters on the residual stresses of polycrystalline CBN abrasive grits have been analyzed, including the embedding depth, grit side length, etc. Results obtained show that the tensile stress with a 40% embedding depth is 292 MPa, which is the minimum on the bonding interface compared with other embedding depths. Meanwhile, the maximum tensile stress is 575 MPa, with an increase of 59% compared with that of a grit side length of 50 mm. Finally, the simulation results of the brazing residual stress of polycrystalline CBN abrasive grits have been con?rmed valid based on the residual stress measurement of the brazed monocrystalline CBN grit.

A stochastic averaging technique is proposed to study the randomly excited single-degree-of-freedom(SDOF) strongly nonlinear systems with delayed feedback fractional-order proportional-derivative(PD) controller. The delayed feedback fractional-order PD control force is approximated by an equivalent non-delay feedback control force combining with a quasi-linear elastic force and a quasi-linear damping force. The averaged It? stochastic differential equation for amplitude of the equivalent nonlinear system is derived by the generalized harmonic functions. The analytical stationary probability density function(PDF) is obtained with solving the reduced Fokker-Planck-Kolmogorov(FPK) equation. Two examples of van der Pol oscillator and RayleighDuffing oscillator are studied to illustrate the application and effectiveness of the proposed method. Numerical results display that the proposed method can yield to the high precision, and the time delay could ruin the control effectiveness, but also even amplifies the response of the system more than that of uncontrolled system. Furthermore, the study finds that the parameters of fractional-order α and time delay may cause the stochastic P-bifurcation. It is indicated that the delayed feedback fractional-order PD controller can offer a potentially effective tool for anti-control of stochastic bifurcation

In this work, we revised the expression of mixing intensity to describe the mixing output through a cross section in a flow system by considering heterogeneity of flow field, and carefully investigated the mixing process along a straight tube with expanding/contracting cross section by simulation method. The simulation results show that a sudden expansion of cross section has remarkable mixing intensification effect within a limited period(on the sub-second scale) or tube-length(on the millimeter scale), corresponding to the generation of considerable local vortices determined by both the flow capacity and the ratio of cross section change; a sudden contraction of cross section has instantaneous but weak mixing intensification effect; through introducing a local expansion structure with proper length, as the combination of sudden expansion and sudden contraction, their mixing intensification effects could be superposed. Besides, the rationality and importance are experimentally verified to explore the time profile of mixing intensity and carry out the vortex analysis by simulation for enhancing the selectivity of a complicated reaction system. These progresses may lead to more meaningful quantitative description of mixing process in a flow microreactor for some specific chemical processes.

Interval-valued data and incomplete data are two key problems for failure analysis of thruster experimental data and have been basically solved by the proposed methods in this paper. Firstly, information data acquired from the simulation and evaluation system formed as intervalvalued information system (IIS) is classified by the interval similarity relation. Then, as an improvement of the classical rough set, a new kind of generalized information entropy called "H'-information entropy" is suggested for the measurement of uncertainty and the classification ability of IIS. There is an innovative information filling technique using the properties of H'-information entropy to replace missing data by some smaller estimation intervals. Finally, an improved method of failure analysis synthesized by the above achievements is presented to classify the thruster experimental data, complete the information, and extract the failure rules. The feasibility and advantage of this method is testified by an actual application of failure analysis, whose performance is evaluated by the quantification of E-condition entropy.

Modeling and reasoning on domain contexts play a key role for adding intelligence to communication services, and the approach of capability-based requirement engineering ensures the scientificity and accuracy of requirement elicitation. This paper presents a capability-based context ontology modeling approach for command and control, communication, computer, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance(C^4ISR) communication. Primarily, a capability-based C^4ISR communication meta-concept model and a C^4ISR communication context meta-ontology are constructed. The context ontology is established under the constraints of the C^4ISR communication context meta-ontology, and furthermore, algorithms are proposed to support context reasoning based on description logic. A case study is presented to demonstrate applicability of the proposed method.

This article studies the cooperative search-attack mission problem with dynamic targets and threats, and presents a Distributed Intelligent Self-Organized Mission Planning(DISOMP)algorithm for multiple Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(multi-UAV). The DISOMP algorithm can be divided into four modules: a search module designed based on the distributed Ant Colony Optimization(ACO) algorithm, an attack module designed based on the Parallel Approach(PA)scheme, a threat avoidance module designed based on the Dubins Curve(DC) and a communication module designed for information exchange among the multi-UAV system and the dynamic environment. A series of simulations of multi-UAV searching and attacking the moving targets are carried out, in which the search-attack mission completeness, execution efficiency and system suitability of the DISOMP algorithm are analyzed. The simulation results exhibit that the DISOMP algorithm based on online distributed down-top strategy is characterized by good flexibility, scalability and adaptability, in the dynamic targets searching and attacking problem.
