The mechanism of melatonin(MT)induced chilling tolerance in harvested cucumber fruit was investigated at commercial *** this study,cucumber fruits were treated with 100μmol L^(-1) MT at 4℃ and 90% relative humidity for 15 d of *** comparison with the control,cucumber treatment with MT resulted in reduced chilling injury(CI),decreased electrolyte leakage and enhanced *** fruits treated with MT showed higher chlorophyll contents in storage conditions with suppressed chlorophyllase enzyme *** treatment increased arginine decarboxylase(ADC)and ornithine decarboxylase(ODC)enzyme ***,enhanced expression of the Cucumis sativus ADC(CsADC)and *** ODC(CsODC)genes resulted in the accumulation of polyamine ***,proline levels exhibited higher levels among treated ***,the proline synthesizing enzymes △1-pyrroline-5-carboxylate syntheses(P5CS)and ornithine aminotransferase(OAT)were significantly increased,while a catabolic enzyme of proline dehydrogenase(PDH)activity was inhibited by *** addition,MT induced expression of *** OAT(CsOAT)and *** P5CS(CsP5CS)*** fruits treated with MT also exhibited higher γ-aminobutyric acid(GABA)content by enhanced GABA transaminase(GABA-T)and glutamate decarboxylase(GAD)enzyme activities and a higher *** GAD(CsGAD)gene *** sum up,the results show that MT treatment enhanced chilling tolerance,which was associated with the regulation of polyamines,as well as proline and γ-aminobutyric acid.

The effect of hot air（HA, 45°C, 3.5 h） treatment on reducing gray mold caused by Botrytis cinerea in strawberry fruit and the possible mechanisms were investigated. The results showed that HA treatment significantly reduced lesion diameter and enhanced activities of chitinase（CHI）, β-1,3-glucanase and phenylalanine ammonia-lyase（PAL） in strawberry fruit. Total phenolic contents were also increased by HA treatment. The activities of antioxidant enzymes including superoxide dismutase（SOD）, catalase（CAT） and ascorbate peroxidase（APX） were higher in HA treated strawberry fruit than those in control. Expression of three defense related genes such as CAT, CCR-1 allele and PLA6 was greatly induced in HA treated strawberry fruit with or without inoculation by B. cinerea. In addition, the in vitro experiment showed that HA treatment inhibited spore germination and tube growth of B. cinerea. These results suggested that HA treatment directly activated disease resistance against B. cinerea in strawberry fruit without priming response and directly inhibiting growth of B. cinerea.

Using plant community analysis methods, we analyzed the floristic characteristics, species composition, community structure, population structure, and spatial distribution patterns of a Betula dahurica forest on the ＂1238＂ mountain of Badaling in Beijing, China. The results show that： 1） There are 33 plant species in the B. dahurica community, including 18 woody plant species. The B. dahurica forest is a monodominant community with 75.9% dominance. 2） Based on diameter at breast height （DBH） size class distribution, the population structure of B. dahurica and Acer mono--two heliophyllous and pioneer tree species-is cascade-type, with both in an increasing stage. The population structure of Ella mandshurica and T. mongolica, two shade-tolerant tree species, is inverse-J type, and they have more young seedling individuals and regenerate more stably. They are associated species of the pioneer tree species. The population structure of Quercus mongolica, as the associated species of climax species in the community, is sporadic, and its regeneration is fluctuating and random. Fraxinus rhynchophylla is a shade-tolerant tree species which has a unibar population structure and climax characteristics of pioneer tree species. The relative frequency of young seedlings reached 0.4. 3） The dominant species B. dahurica is still in an increasing stage, and the regeneration of other species is steady or partly influences the community, putting the community in the pioneer species stage. From the population structure and distribution frequency ofF. rhynchophylla, the B. dahurica forest will approach to a climax state in the future.

Recently,an environmentally friendly electrolysis process of soluble vanadates is proposed and successfully confirmed for V_(2)O_(3) *** this paper,the solubilities of various vanadates(***_(3),Na_(4)V_(2)O_(7) and Na_(3)VO_(4))in NaCl molten salt are *** dependences of V_(2)O_(3) extraction on vanadate form,anode material and molten salt system are studied.A long-term electrolysis is carried *** result indicates that the solubilities of all vanadates are high and meet electrolytic *** to Na_(4)V_(2)O_(7) and Na_(3)VO_(4),NaVO_(3) exhibits larger current efficiency and lower electricity *** using SnO_(2) anode instead of graphite anode,the current efficiency of NaVO_(3) electrolysis can be increased to 58.1%and carbon pollution is avoided at 700℃.The extraction rate of V_(2)O_(3) reaches 81.3%after long-term electrolysis of 51 *** work optimizes the electrochemical preparation process of V_(2)O_(3) from various vanadates and contributes to the improvement of current efficiency and extraction rate.

Objective:To explore the effects of small needle knife on the autophagy function of synovium and the expression of TGF-βin synovial fluid of KOA rats,so as to provide a new theoretical basis for the treatment of ***:48 SD rats were randomly divided into blank control group,model group,drug group and acupotomy *** blank control group maintained the original feeding without any intervention,the model group adopted the sodium monoiodoacetate injection method to prepare the KOA rat model without any intervention,the drug group prepared the KOA rat model and then treated with tripterine by gavage,and the needle knife group treated the KOA rat model with small needle *** expression levels of autophagy-related proteins in synovial tissues were detected by immunohistochemistry and Western blotting,and the content of TGF-βin synovial fluid was measured by ***:Compared with the blank control group,Beclin-1,Caspase-3 and Bax were up-regulated and m TOR was down-regulated in the model ***-1,m TOR,Caspase-3 and Bax were up-regulated in the drug *** was no significant difference in the expression of autophagy-related proteins Beclin-1(0.28±0.09)and m TOR(0.45±0.12)between the acupotomy group and the blank control group,while Caspase-3(0.17±0.03)and Bax(0.30±0.01)were *** expression level of TGF-βin synovial fluid in the small needle knife group was(0.29±0.09),which was similar to that in the blank control group,and was significantly higher than that in the model ***:Small needle knife treatment can promote the recovery of synovial autophagy in KOA rats,and reduce the level of TGF-βin synovial fluid,and can play a clinical role in the treatment of KOA by regulating the expression of synovial autophagy and TGF-β.

The real-time monitoring of the weld pool during deposition is important for automatic control in plasma arc additive *** obtain a high deposition accuracy,it is essential to maintain a stable weld pool *** this study,a novel passive visual method is proposed to measure the weld pool *** the proposed method,the image quality was improved by designing a special visual system that employed an endoscope and a *** also includes pixel brightness-based and gradient-based algorithms that can adaptively detect feature points at the boundary when the weld pool geometry *** algorithm can also be applied to materials with different solidification *** was performed to measure the real weld pool length in world coordinates,and outlier rejection was performed to increase the accuracy of the ***,tests were carried out on the intersection component,and the results showed that the proposed method performed well in tracking the changing weld pool length and was applicable to the real-time monitoring of different types of materials.

Short-duration heavy rainfall(SHR),as delineated by the National Meteorological Center of the China Me-teorological Administration,is characterized by hourly rainfall amounts no less than 20.0 *** is one of the most common convective weather phenomena that can cause severe ***-range forecasting of SHR is an important part of operational severe weather *** the present study,an improved objective SHR forecasting scheme was developed by adopting the ingredients-based methodology and using the fuzzy logic *** 1.0°×1.0°National Centers for Environmental Prediction(NCEP)final analysis data and the ordinary rainfall(0.1-19.9 mm h-1)and SHR observational data from 411 stations were used in the improved *** best lifted index,the total precipitable water,the 925 hPa specific humidity(Q 925),and the 925 hPa divergence(DIV 925)were selected as predictors based on objective *** distributed membership functions of predictors were obtained based on relative frequency *** weights of predictors were also objectively *** with a typhoon SHR case and a spring SHR case show that the main possible areas could be captured by the improved *** of SHR forecasts within 96 hours with NCEP global forecasts 1.0°×1.0°data initiated at 08:00 Beijing Time during the warm seasons in 2015 show the results were improved from both deterministic and probabilistic *** study provides an objectively feasible choice for short-range guidance forecasts of *** scheme can be applied to other convective phenomena.

The underwater X-ray imaging technology development is significant to subaqueous target reconnaissance/detection/identification, subfluvial archaeology,submerged resource exploration, etc. As the core of X-ray imaging detection, the scintillator has been plagued by inherent moisture absorption and decomposition, and strict requirements for seamless packaging and ***, we designed a manganese-doped two-dimensional(2D) perovskite scintillator modified by hydrophobic longchain organic amine through the combination of component and doping engineering. The modified perovskites show high water repellency that can be used as an underwater X-ray scintillator. X-ray images of aquatic organisms or other objects with a high spatial resolution of10 lp·mm^(-1) at a big view field(32 mm × 32 mm) were obtained by scintillation screen. This hydrophobic perovskite scintillator based on molecular design is of great promise in underwater X-ray nondestructive testing technology development.

Objectives Renal replacement therapy(RRT)is increasingly adopted for critically ill patients diagnosed with acute kidney injury,but the optimal time for initiation remains unclear and prognosis is uncertain,leading to medical complexity,ethical conflicts,and decision dilemmas in intensive care unit(ICU)*** study aimed to develop a decision aid(DA)for the family surrogate of critically ill patients to support their engagement in shared decision-making process with *** Development of DA employed a systematic process with user-centered design(UCD)principle,which included:(i)competitive analysis:searched,screened,and assessed the existing DAs to gather insights for design strategies,developmental techniques,and functionalities;(ii)user needs assessment:interviewed family surrogates in our hospital to explore target user group's decision-making experience and identify their unmet needs;(iii)evidence syntheses:integrate latest clinical evidence and pertinent information to inform the content development of *** The competitive analysis included 16 relevant DAs,from which we derived valuable insights using existing *** decision needs were explored among a cohort of 15 family surrogates,revealing four thematic issues in decision-making,including stuck into dilemmas,sense of uncertainty,limited capacity,and delayed decision confirmation.A total of 27 articles were included for evidence *** decision making knowledge on disease and treatment,as delineated in the literature sourced from decision support system or clinical guidelines,were formatted as the foundational knowledge ***-one items of evidence were extracted and integrated into the content panels of benefits and risks of RRT,possible outcomes,and reasons to *** DA was drafted into a web-based phototype using the elements of *** platform could guide users in their preparation of decision-making through a sequential four-step process:identifying
