Energy-Efficient Mapping for 3D NoC Using Logistic Function Based Adaptive Genetic Algorithms

The problem of mapping application tasks is one of key issues in 3D Network on chip(3D NoC) design. A novel Logistic function based adaptive genetic algorithm(LFAGA) is proposed for energy-aware mapping of homogeneous 3D NoC. We formulate the mapping problem and show the Standard genetic algorithm(SGA). The LFAGA is presented in detail with the goal of obtaining higher convergence speed while preventing the premature convergence. Experimental results indicate that the proposed LFAGA is more efficient than previously proposed Chaos-genetic mapping algorithm(CGMAP). In the experiments, a randomly generated task graph of size 27 is mapped to a 3D NoC of size 3×3×3, the convergence speed of LFAGA is 2.55 times faster than CGMAP in the best condition. When the task size increases to 64 and the 3D NoC size extends to 4×4×4, LFAGA is 2.31 times faster compared to CGMAP. For the No C sizes in the range from 3×3×2 to 4×4×4, solutions obtained by the LFAGA are consistently better than the CGMAP. For example, in the experiment of size 4×4×4, the improvement of final result reaches 30.0% in term of energy consumption. For a real application of size 3×4×2, 18.6% of energy saving can be achieved and the convergence speed is 1.58 times faster than that of the CGMAP.

Laser absorption is measured in Xe,Ar and He clusters irradiated by 5 mJ laser pulses in 150 *** measurements show that the absorption efficiency strongly depends on the backing pressure of the gas jets,the laser pulse duration and the atomic number Z of the working *** laser absorption for Xe clusters is found to be as high as 45%at a backing pressure of 20 atm and a laser intensity of 1×10^(15) W/cm^(2).Significant numbers of ions with energies up to 100 keV are detected from Xe cluster *** variation trend of the average ion energy at different backing pressures is consistent with that of the laser energy absorption.

Mesozoic-Cenozoic Multi-Stage Intraplate Deformation Events in the Langshan Region and their Tectonic Implications

In the Langshan region, northwestern China, marked multi-stage intraplate deformation events have occurred since the Mesozoic, including（1） northeast-striking ductile left-lateral strike slip during the Middle-Late Triassic, which is closely related to the collision between the North China and the Yangtze plates;（2） top-to-the-southeast thrust with northwest-southeast trending maximum compression during the Late Jurassic;（3） nearly eastward detachment during the Early Cretaceous;（4） top-to-the-northwest thrust with northwest-southeast trending maximum compression during the Late Cretaceous and Early Cenozoic;（5） northeast-striking brittle left-lateral strike slip with nearly north-south trending maximum compression; and（6） northwest-southeast extension during the Middle-Late Cenozoic. All these deformation events belong to the intraplate deformation across the entire Central Asian region and respond to the tectonic events along the plate boundaries or deep tectonics. The structures developed in early events in the crust were the most important factors controlling the later deformation styles, and few new structures have later developed. Based on previous research and our results, the paleostress inversion in the Langshan region shows that the Mesozoic intraplate deformations in the study region mainly resulted from the tectonic events from the Paleo-Pacific region and have no or a weak relation to the Tethys region. During the Late Jurassic, the maximum compression from the Mongolia-Okhotsk region cannot be excluded. The Langshan region is the bridge between southern Mongolia and the western Ordos tectonic belt and is thus important to understand the nature and relationship between both regions.

The fast electromagnetic drive mechanism based on fast switch shows extensive applications in many areas,but there is still a lack of unified evaluation parameters as to evaluate the dynamic characteristics due to diversity and complexity of the *** interrelated evaluation parameters are presented for topology analysis,namely the electromagnetic force sensitivity coefficient,the initial time constant and the sensitivity contribution *** specific parameters based on evaluation can provide a basis for structural performance assessment as well as topology *** between the dynamic parameters of the discoid repulsion mechanism and the solenoid thrust mechanism shows that,the discoid one is superior to the solenoid *** proposed research is to establish a general methodology for topology analysis and optimization of the electromagnetic mechanisms.

It crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group C2/c with a = 22.294（4）, b = 15.122（3）, c = 20.640（4） A, β = 119.618（4）°, V = 6048.9（19） A^3, C63H52Cl2CoN9O9, Mr= 1208.97, F（000） = 2504, De= 1.328g/cm^3, Z = 4, μ= 0.436, the final R = 0.0712 and wR = 0.1718 for 1734 observed reflections （I 〉 2σ（I））. In its solid state the helical polymeric chains are supramolecularly associated through intermolecular and interionic hydrogen bonding interactions.

This study investigated the removal and transformation of organic matter through laboratory-scale soil-aquifer treatment (SAT) soil columns over a 110-day period. Reductions in total organic carbon (TOC), dissolved organic carbon (DOC), biodegradable dissolved organic carbon (BDOC), nonbiodegradable dissolved organic carbon (NBDOC) and absorbance of ul-traviolet light at 254 nm (UV-254) averaged 71.46%, 68.05%, 99.31%, 33.27% and 38.96% across the soil columns, respectively. DOC/TOC ratios increased slightly with depth while BDOC/DOC ratios showed a converse trend. DOC exiting the soil-column system contained only a very small biodegradable fraction. SAT decreased the concentration of DOC present in feed water but increased its aromaticity, as indicated by specific ultraviolet light absorbance (SUVA), which increased by 50%～115% across the soil columns, indicating preferential removal of non-aromatic DOC during SAT. Overall, laboratory-scale SAT reduced triha-lomethane formation potential (THMFP), although specific THMFP increased. THMFP reduction was dominated by removal in chloroform. All samples exhibited a common general relationship with respect to weight: chloroform>dichlorobromomethane >dibromochloromethane>bromoform.
