Analysis on the Dynamical Process of Donghekou Rockslide-Debris Flow Triggered by 5.1. wenchuan Earthquake

Among the geo-hazards caused by the great wenchuan Earthquake, the rapid and long runout rockslide-debris flow is of primary concern due to the large volume of displaced material and the resultant catastrophic impacts to the landscape and socioeconomic structure. In order to analyze the dynamical process of this kind of geo-hazard, the Donghekou rockslide-debris flow is given as an example in this paper. This event, which killed 780 people, initiated at an elevation of 1.00 m with a total long run-out distance of more than 2400 m. The slide mass is mainly composed of dolomite limestone and siliceous limestone of Sinian system, together with carbon slate and phyllite of Cambrian. During the processes from slide initiation to the final cessation of slide movement, five dynamic stages took place, here identified as the initiation stage, the acceleration of movement stage, the air-blast effect stage, the impact and redirection stage and the long runout slidematerial accumulation stage. Field investigations indicate that due to the effects of the earthquake, the dynamics of the Donghekou rockslide-debris flow are apparently controlled by geologic and tectonic conditions, the local geomorphological aspects of the terrain, and the microstructural and macroscopic mechanical properties of rocks which compose the slide mass. These three main factors which dictate the Donghekou rockslide-debris flow dynamics are discussed in detail in this paper, and significant results of field investigations and tests of materials are presented. The above dynamical processes are analyzed in this paper, and some useful conclusions have been gained.

Portable quantum sensors are crucial for developing practical quantum sensing and metrology *** nitrogen-vacancy(NV)centers in diamonds have emerged as one of the most promising candidates for compact quantum ***,due to the difficulty of coherently controlling the ensemble spin and noise suppression in a large volume,it often faces problems such as reduced sensitivity and narrowed bandwidth in integrated lensless ***,we propose a fluorescence signal treatment method for NV spin ensemble manipulation by the exponential fitting of spin polarization processes,instead of integrating the photon *** enables spin state readout with a high signal-to-noise ratio and applies to the pulse sensing protocols for large-volume NV *** on this,we further developed a fiberized diamond-based AC *** an XY8-N dynamical decoupling pulse sequence,we demonstrated a T_(2)-limited sensitivity of 8pT/√Hz and T_(1.-limited frequency resolution of 90 Hz over a wide frequency band from 1.0 kHz to 3.*** integrated diamond sensor leverages quantum coherence to achieve enhanced sensitivity in detecting AC magnetic fields,making it suitable for implementation in a compact and portable endoscopic sensor.

An efficient electrocatalyst is indispensable to significantly reduce energy consumption and accelerate the conversion efficiency of water *** this work,the honeycomb-like porous MoCo alloy on nitrogen-doped three-dimensional(3.)porous graphene substrate(Mo_(0.3.Co_(0.7)@NPG)has been synthesized from the annealing of layered double hydroxide(MoCo-LDH@NPG).Especially,the Mo_(0.3.Co_(0.7)@NPG exhibits low hydrogen evolution overpotential of 75 mV(1. mA·cm^(-2))and a Tafel slope of 69.9 mV·dec^(-1.,which can be attributed to highly conductive NPG substrate,the unique nanostructure and the synergistic effect of Mo and ***,the Mo_(0.3.Co_(0.7)@NPG can maintain the original morphology and high catalytic activity after 50-h stability *** work proposes a general strategy to synthesize a multi-element alloy on conductive substrates with high porosity for electrocatalytic reaction.

Petrogenesis and significance of early Yanshanian syenite-granite complex in eastern Nanling Range

In the eastern Nanling Range there exists the early Yanshanian syenite-granite assemblage. A representative example is the Pitou-Tabei complex composed of the Tabei syenite pluton and the Pitou syenogranite pluton in southern Jiangxi Province. U-Pb zircon dating yields ages of 1.8.6±2.2 Ma for the Tabei pluton and 1.6.3.1.1.Ma for the Pitou pluton. The Tabei syenite is characterized by relatively low SiO2 content (62.40% - 68.75%), high alkalis (K2O+Na2O = 1..56%-1..96%), low percent K2O/Na2O ratios (0.56-0.93., metaluminous fea- ture (A/CNK = 0.80-1.00), enrichment in LILE (Rb, Ba, K) and HFSE (Th, U, Nb, Ta, Zr, and so on), weakly negative to positive Eu anomalies (δ Eu = 0.63.1.82), relatively low (87Sr/86Sr)i (0.7041.-0.70543., and relatively high ε Nd(t) (3.1.-3.52). The Pitou syenogranite is charac- terized by high silicon content (SiO2 = 71.06%-76.28%), relatively low alkalis (K2O+Na2O = 8.1.%-9.80%), high percent K2O/Na2O ratios (1.22-1.94), metaluminous feature (A/CNK = 0.94-1.07), enrichment in Rb, Th (U), K, depletion in Ba, Nb, Ta, Sr, P , Zr, Ti, high ΣREE (av- eraging 451.03.μg/g), strong negative Eu anomalies (δ Eu = 0.27-0.3.), relatively high (87Sr/86Sr)i (0.70805-0.7091.), and relatively low ε Nd( t ) (?5.3.-?6.29). The Tabei syenite and Pitou syenogranite both have the characteristics of A-type granites. The former is considered to be from the asthenosphere mantle, and the latter was the product of the crust-mantle mixture. They both were probably formed in a rifting setting.

Measurement of refractive indices and thermal refractive index coefficients of Cr^3. Be3.l2Si6O1. by auto-collimation method

The principal refractive indices and the thermal refractive index coefficients for Be3.l2Si6O1. crystal doped with 1.01.t% Cr2O3.have been accurately measured by the auto-collimation method at wavelengths of 0.488, 0.53.75, 1.064, 1.0795 and 1.3.1. μm, and temperatures of 3.8.2, 3.8.6, 3.9.1.and 3.5.4 K respectively. Based on the measured results of principal indices of 0.488, 0.63.8, 1.0795 and 1.3.1.μm, the Sellmeier’s equations and the thermal refractive index coefficients have been obtained, and the result has been proven to be accurate by error analysis.

Non-centrosymmetric （NCS） structure is an indispensable prerequisite for second-order nonlinear optical （NLO） ***,the mainstream approach for designing new NCS structures still relies on chemical substitution,necessitating an urgent infusion of fresh *** this work,two isomorphic sulfides AeMn6Ga6S1.（Ae=Ca,1.Sr,2） are afforded by modifying the skeleton of centrosymmetric （CS） Mn2Ga2S5via introducing strong electropositive alkaline-earth ***,the incorporation of Ca2+/Sr2+cations allows the elementary[MnGaS9]∞chains to reconfigure into bumpy[MnS6]-[GaS4]layers in a new engagement manner,thus enabling the conversion from CS to NCS *** modifications cause not only strong second-harmonic generation （SHG） responses （～1.5×benchmark AgGaS2@1.700 nm）,but also significantly feasible bandgaps（2.60–2.64 e V） compared to the sulfide Mn2Ga2S5（1.3. eV）,which ultimately facilitate ultrahigh laser-induced damage thresholds （4.4–6.6×AgGaS2@1.064 nm for compounds 1.and 2）.The present study offers an ingenious approach for the transformation of CS to NCS structure.

The Moon provides a unique environment for investigating nearby astrophysical events such as *** samples retain valuable information from these events,via detectable long-lived“fingerprint”radionuclides such as^(60)*** this work,we stepped up the development of an accelerator mass spectrometry(AMS)method for detecting^(60)Fe using the HI-1.tandem accelerator at the china {1. of Atomic Energy(CIAE).Since interferences could not be sufficiently removed solely with the existing magnetic systems of the tandem accelerator and the following Q3. magnetic spectrograph,a Wien filter with a maximum voltage of±60 kV and a maximum magnetic field of 0.3.T was installed after the accelerator magnetic systems to lower the detection background for the low abundance nuclide^(60)Fe.A 1.m thick Si_(3.N_(4) foil was installed in front of the Q3. as an energy *** particle detection,a multi-anode gas ionization chamber was mounted at the center of the focal plane of the ***,an^(60)Fe sample with an abundance of 1.1.5×1.^(-1.)was used to test the new AMS *** results indicate that^(60)Fe can be clearly distinguished from the isobar^(60)*** sensitivity was assessed to be better than 4.3.1.^(-1.)based on blank sample measurements lasting 5.8 h,and the sensitivity could,in principle,be expected to be approximately 2.5×1.^(-1.)when the data were accumulated for 1.0 h,which is feasible for future lunar sample measurements because the main contaminants were sufficiently separated.

Tuning the electronic conductance of REH_(x)(RE=Nd,Ce,Pr)by structural deformation

Hydride ion(H-)conductors have drawn much attention due to their potential applications in hydrideion-based *** earth metal hydrides(REH_(x))have fast H-conduction which,unfortunately,is accompanied by detrimental electron conduction preventing their application as ion ***,REH_(x)(RE=Nd,Ce,and Pr)with varied grain sizes,rich grain boundaries,and defects have been prepared by ball milling and subsequent *** electronic conductivity of the ball-milled REH_(x)samples can be reduced by 2-4 orders of magnitude compared with the non-ball-milled *** relationship of electron conduction and miscrostructures in REH_(x)is studied and discussed based on experimental data and previously-proposed classical and quantum *** H-conductivity of all REH_(x)is about 1.^(-4)to 1.^(-3.S cm^(-1.at room temperature,showing promise for the development of H-conductors and their applications in clean energy storage and conversion.
