Petroleum System of the Sufyan Depression at the Eastern Margin of a Huge Strike-slip Fault Zone in Central Africa

The present paper mainly studies the petroleum system of the Sufyan Depression in the Muglad Basin of central Africa and analyzes its control of hydrocarbon accumulation. On the basis of comprehensive analysis of effective source rock, reservoir bed types and source-reservoir-seal assemblages, petroleum system theory has been used to classify the petroleum system of the Sufyan Depression. Vertically, the Sufyan Depression consists of two subsystems. One is an Abu Gabra subsystem as a self generating, accumulating and sealing assemblage. The other subsystem is composed of an Abu Gabra source rock, Bentiu channel sandstone reservoir and Darfur group shale seal, which is a prolific assemblage in this area. Laterally, the Sufyan Depression is divided into eastern and western parts with separate hydrocarbon generation centers more than 10 000 m deep. The potential of the petroleum system is tremendous. Recently, there has been a great breakthrough in exploration. The Sufyan C-1 well drilled in the central structural belt obtained high-yielding oil flow exceeding 100 tons per day and controlled geologic reserves of tens of millions of tons. The total resource potential of the Sufyan Depression is considerable. The central structural belt is most favorable as an exploration and development prospect.

Equivalent model of close-packed film cooling holes in nickel-based single crystal cooled blade based on crystallographic theory

The mechanical properties of nickel-based single crystal thin-walled plate with close-packed film cooling holes were studied based on the equivalent solid material concept. The effective plastic parameters inversion method based on crystallographic theory were proposed. A simplification method for close-packed film cooling hole plates with square and triangular penetration patterns was presented. A large number of finite element analysis results covering different ligament efficiencies and penetration patterns were provided to verify the feasibility of the plastic equivalent principle and simplification method. The results show that the stress–strain curve and resolved shear stresses of simplification models are in consistence with the plate models with close-packed film cooling holes. The equivalent errors of yield strength are all within the error band and the values of equivalent errors are all less than 10%. In addition, the equivalent errors of the positions where maximum resolved shear stress occurs are all less than 15°, indicating the accuracy of plastic equivalent model and simplification method.

Enhancing the power conversion efficiency(PCE)is the major task in the development of solar cells[1−5].In 1961,William Shockley and Hans *** pointed out that the highest PCE for a single-junction solar cell is limited to 31%due to the thermalization and transmission losses[6].Singlet fission(SF)is an appealing carrier-multiplication approach to break the Shockley-Queisser limit,since it converts one high-energy singlet exciton into two low-energy triplet ***,one absorbed photon generates two electron-hole pairs.

Molecularly Imprinted Polymer Thin Film Based Surface Plasmon Resonance Sensor to Detect Hemoglobin

Molecularly imprinted polymer（MIP） films for hemoglobin detection were prepared onto the Au/Cr coated surface plasmon resonance（SPR） sensor chips by the in situ electropolymerization of 3-aminophenylboronic acid（3-APBA）.The formation of the films and rebinding processes of hemoglobin were monitored by in situ electrochemical-SPR（EC-SPR） spectroscopy,with allowed real-time observation of the simultaneous changes in electrochemical and optical properties of the *** electron microscopy（SEM） and atomic force microscopy（AFM）were used to characterize the surface morphologies of the MIP *** effects of pH,ion strength,different metal ions on rebinding Hb,the specific binding and the selective recognition were *** results obtained with the molecular imprinted SPR chips indicate a good adsorption of Hb in a range of 0.0005-5 mg/mL in 0.05 mol/L sodium phosphate buffer at pH=7.0.A linear calibration curve（R2=0.94） of the SPR sensor for Hb detection was obtained in a range of 0.05-5 mg/*** detection limit for hemoglobin by this method was 0.000435 mg/mL（S/N=3）.Interference studies indicate that the MIP films have a good selectivity compared with the referenced *** stability of the sensor was also *** indicate that the SPR sensor chip keeps 87.6％ of its original response after 14 d of storage under dry and ambient conditions.

Lithium-sulfur(Li-S)batteries are highly regarded as the next-generation high-energy-density secondary batteries due to their high capacity and large theoretical energy ***,the practical application of these batteries is hindered mainly by the polysulfide shuttle ***,we designed and synthesized a new lithium sulfonylimide covalent organic framework(COF)material(COF-LiSTFSI,LiSTFSI=lithium(4-styrenesulfonyl)(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide),and further used it to modify the common polypropylene(PP)separator of Li-S *** COF-LiSTFSI with sulfonylimide anion groups features stronger electronegativity,thus can effectively facilitate the lithium ion conduction while significantly suppress the diffusion of polysulfides via the electrostatic *** with the unmodified PP separator,the COF-LiSTFSI modified separator results in a high ionic conductivity(1.50 mS·cm^(−1))and Li+transference number(0.68).Consequently,the Li-S battery using the COF-LiSTFSI modified separator achieves a high capacity of 1229.7 mAh·g^(−1)at 0.2 C and a low decay rate of only 0.042%per cycle after 1000 cycles at 1 C,compared with those of 941.5 mAh·g^(−1)and 0.061%using the unmodified PP separator,*** results indicate that by choosing suitable functional groups,an effective strategy for COF-modified separators could be developed for high-performance Li-S batteries.

A 2D covalent organic framework with ultra-large interlayer distance as high-rate anode material for lithium-ion batteries

Covalent organic frameworks(COFs)have been broadly investigated for energy storage ***,many COF-based anode materials suffer from low utilization of redox-active sites and sluggish ions/electrons transport caused by their densely stacked ***,it is still a great challenge to obtain COF-based anode materials with fast ions/electrons transport and thus superior rate ***,a redox-active piperazine-terephthalaldehyde(PA-TA)COF with ultra-large interlayer distance is designed and synthesized for high-rate anode material,which contains piperazine units adopting a chair-shaped conformation with the nonplanar linkages of a tetrahedral *** unique structure renders PA-TA COF an ultra-large interlayer distance of 6.2Å,and further enables it to achieve outstanding rate and cycling *** a high specific capacity of 543 mAh·g^(−1) even after 400 cycles at 1.0 A·g^(−1),it still could afford a specific capacity of 207 mAh·g^(−1) even at a high current density of 5.0 A·g^(−1).Our study indicates that expanding the interlayer distance of COFs by rational molecular design would be of great importance to develop high-rate electrode materials for lithium-ion batteries.

For the applications of aqueous Li-ion hybrid capacitors and Na-ion hybrid capacitors,potassium ions are pre-inserted into MnO2 tunnel structure,the as-prepared K1.04Mn8 O16 materials consist of nanoparticles and nanorods were prepared by facile high-temperature solid-state *** as-prepared materials were well studied and they show outstanding electrochemical *** assembled hybrid supercapacitors with commercial activated carbon(YEC-8 A)as anode and K1.04Mn8 O16 as *** shows high energy and power ***-ion capacitors reach a high energy density of 127.61 Wh kg-1 at the power density of 99.86 W kg-1 and Na-ion capacitor obtains 170.96 Wh kg-1 at 133.79 W *** addition,the hybrid supercapacitors demonstrate excellent cycling performance which maintain 97%capacitance retention for Li-ion capacitor and 85%for Na-ion capacitor after 10,000 cycles.

A series of dithienobenzodithiophene based small molecules for highly efficient organic solar cells

Three acceptor-donor-acceptor （A-D-A） small molecules DCAODTBDT, DRDTBDT and DTBDTBDT using dithieno[2,3-d：2＇,3＇-d＇]benzo[1,2-b：4,5-b＇]dithiophene as the central building block, octyl cyanoacetate, 3-octylrhodanine and thiobarbituric acid as the end groups were designed and synthesized as donor materials in solution-processed photovoltaic cells （OPVs）. The impacts of these different electron withdrawing end groups on the photophysical properties, energy levels, charge carrier mobility, morphologies of blend films, and their photovoltaic properties have been systematically investigated. OPVs device based on DRDTBDT gave the best power conversion efficiency （PCE） of 8.34%, which was significantly higher than that based on DCAODTBDT （4.83%） or DTBDTBDT （3.39%）. These results indicate that rather dedicated and balanced consideration of absorption, energy levels, morphology, mobility, etc. for the design of small-molecule-based OPVs （SM-OPVs） and systematic investigations are highly needed to achieve high performance for SM-OPVs.

Effects of 1 MeV electron radiation on the AlGaN/GaN high electron mobility transistors

In this study, the effects of 1 MeV electron radiation on the D-mode GaN-based high electron mobility transistors(HEMTs) were investigated after different radiation doses. The changes in electrical properties of the device were obtained, and the related physical mechanisms were analyzed. It indicated that under the radiation dose of 5 × 10^(14) cm^(-2), the channel current cannot be completely pinched off even if the negative gate voltage was lower than the threshold voltage, and the gate leakage current increased significantly. The emission microscopy and scanning electron microscopy were used to determine the damage location. Besides, the radiation dose was adjusted ranging from 5 × 10^(12) to 1 × 10^(14) cm^(-2), and we noticed that the drain-source current increased and the threshold voltage presented slightly negative shift. By calculations, it suggested that the carrier density and electron mobility gradually increased. It provided a reference for the development of device radiation reinforcement technology.
