BACKGROUND Non-surgical methods such as percutaneous drainage are crucial for the treatment of patients with severe acute pancreatitis(SAP).However,there is still an ongoing debate regarding the optimal timing for abdominal paracentesis catheter place-ment and *** To explore the influence of different timing for abdominal paracentesis catheter placement and drainage in SAP complicated by intra-abdominal fluid *** Using a retrospective approach,184 cases of SAP complicated by intra-abdominal fluid accumulation were enrolled and categorized into three groups based on the timing of catheter placement:group A(catheter placement within 2 d of symptom onset,n=89),group B(catheter placement between days 3 and 5 after symptom onset,n=55),and group C(catheter placement between days 6 and 7 after symptom onset,n=40).The differences in progression rate,mortality rate,and the number of cases with organ dysfunction were compared among the three *** The progression rate of group A was significantly lower than those in groups B and groups C(2.25%vs 21.82%and 32.50%,P0.05).At postoperative day 3,the levels of C-reactive protein(55.41±19.32 mg/L vs 82.25±20.41 mg/L and 88.65±19.14 mg/L,P<0.05),procalcitonin(1.36±0.51 ng/mL vs 3.20±0.97 ng/mL and 3.41±0.98 ng/mL,P<0.05),tumor necrosis factor-alpha(15.12±6.63 pg/L vs 22.26±9.96 pg/L and 23.39±9.12 pg/L,P<0.05),interleukin-6(332.14±90.16 ng/L vs 412.20±88.50 ng/L and 420.08±87.65ng/L,P<0.05),interleukin-8(415.54±68.43 ng/L vs 505.80±66.90 ng/L and 510.43±68.23ng/L,P<0.05)and serum amyloid A(270.06±78.49 mg/L vs 344.41±81.96 mg/L and 350.60±80.42 mg/L,P<0.05)were significantly lower in group A compared to those in groups B and group *** length of hospit

Secondary vascular tissue(SVT)development and regeneration are regulated by *** this study,we used an in vitro SVT regeneration system to demonstrate that gibberellin(GA)treatment significantly promotes auxin-induced cambium *** GA content by overexpressing or knocking down ent-kaurene synthase(KS)affected secondary growth and SVT regeneration in *** poplar DELLA gene GIBBERELLIC ACID INSENSITIVE(PtoGAI)is expressed in a specific pattern during secondary growth and cambium regeneration after *** of PtoGAI disrupted poplar growth and inhibited cambium regeneration,and the inhibition of cambium regeneration could be partially restored by GA *** analysis of the PtaDR5:GUS transgenic plants,the localization of PIN-FORMED 1(PIN1)and the expression of auxin-related genes found that an additional GA treatment could enhance the auxin response as well as the expression of PIN1,which mediates auxin transport during SVT *** together,these findings suggest that GA promotes cambium regeneration by stimulating auxin signal transduction.

Multifunctional materials are powerful tools to support the advancement of energy conversion *** with prominent electromagnetic and electrochemical properties can realize the conversion of electromagnetic energy and solve the subsequent storage ***,an electrospinning-thermal reduction method is employed to construct ultrafine nickel nanoparticle modified porous SiO_(2)/C(Ni-SiO_(2)/C)hollow nanofibers as promising materials for applications in both electromagnetic wave absorption(EMA)and lithium-ion ***,when used as an EMA material,the reflection loss(RL)of Ni-SiO_(2)/C can reach−47.8 dB at 15.8 GHz with a matching thickness of 2.2 *** excellent microwave absorption performance can be attributed to the enhanced conduction loss,polarization relaxation,synergistic magnetic loss,and preferred impedance matching,which result from multi-component magnetic/dielectric synergy and the unique interconnected multidimensional hollow ***,the electronic conductivity and electrochemical activity of the samples are significantly enhanced due to the uniform distribution of ultrafine Ni nanoparticles in the amorphous SiO_(2)/C ***,the hierarchical hollow porous structure provides sufficient free space for volume change during lithiation/delithiation ***,the Ni-SiO_(2)/C nanocomposite exhibits a high reversible capacity of 917.6 mAh·g^(−1)at 0.1 A·g^(−1).At a high current density of 2 A·g^(−1),a capacity of 563.9 mAh·g^(−1)can be maintained after 300 *** energy conversion-storage device is designed to store waste electromagnetic energy in the form of useful electrical *** work inspires the development of high-performance bifunctional materials.

Quantum heat engines and refrigerators are open quantum systems,whose dynamics can be well understood using a non-Hermitian formalism.A prominent feature of non-Hermiticity is the existence of exceptional points(EPs),which has no counterpart in closed quantum *** has been shown in classical systems that dynamical encirclement in the vicinity of an EP,whether the loop includes the EP or not,could lead to chiral mode ***,we show that this is valid also for quantum systems when dynamical encircling is performed in the vicinity of their Liouvillian EPs(LEPs),which include the effects of quantum jumps and associated noise—an important quantum feature not present in previous *** demonstrate,using a Paul-trapped ultracold ion,the first chiral quantum heating and refrigeration by dynamically encircling a closed loop in the vicinity of an *** witness the cycling direction to be associated with the chirality and heat release(absorption)of the quantum heat engine(quantum refrigerator).Our experiments have revealed that not only the adiabaticity breakdown but also the Landau–Zener–Stückelberg process play an essential role during dynamic encircling,resulting in chiral thermodynamic *** observations contribute to further understanding of chiral and topological features in non-Hermitian systems and pave a way to exploring the relation between chirality and quantum thermodynamics.

There are many theories and tools for human or robot motion simulation,but most of them require complex *** LNZN model(a simplified model named by the proposers)simplifies the human model and facilitates simulation of the Ground Reaction Force(GRF)of body landing by spring damping model and ignoring joint rotation movements,which can reduce the amount of computation *** this paper,the LNZN model of human running is selected as the basis and is modified to obtain the LNZN model of a robot,which expands the application of the LNZN *** to the structure of the human foot,a foot structure is then added to the simplified model to reduce the *** also applied driving forces to the new model to simulate the whole high jump motion of the robot to expand the functions of the LNZN *** obtained GRF data were anastomotic to the actual experimental *** addition,the effects of variables,such as the mass,hardness,and damping,of the foot on the GRF at the moment of landing were also ***,based on the guidelines obtained for the design of the robot’s foot structure,we fabricated new robot’s feet and installed them on the actual robot and achieved a better cushioning effect than the original foot in experiments.
