The category of fuzzy pretopological spaces is introduced, and it is proved that this category is a well-fibred extensional topological construct, and it is a finally dense extension of the category of fuzzy topological spaces. Moreover this category contains both the category of pretopological spaces and the category of probabilistic neighbourhood spaces as simultaneously bireflective and bicoreflective full subcategories.

Agents with robust ultraviolet(UV)absorption capabilities play a vital role in safeguarding organisms and inorganic materials from UV ***,the synthetic procedures towards these UV absorbers are usually lengthy and complicated,accompanied by undesirable side reactions and the generation of toxic *** nature,allomelanin,a class of melanins variant found in melanized fungi near the Chernobyl nuclear power plant,plays crucial roles in the cell wall of melanized fungi,offering resistance to harsh external environments and promising UV resistance ***,allomelanin can be rapidly biosynthesized via the polymerization of 1,8-dihydroxynaphthalene in presence of enzymes in *** by this,we report here a green enzymatic polymerization strategy to efficiently and eco-friendly synthesize polydihydroxynaphthalene(PDHN)-based artificial allomelanin nanoparticles(NPs)with interesting *** calculations and experimental results demonstrated that the PDHN NPs exhibited excellent UVabsorption capacity,surpassing another widely used artificial melanin,polydopamine(PDA).Moreover,the light absorption mechanism of PDHN NPs was systematically elucidated for the first ***,the PDHN NPs were incorporated with polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)to create an anti-aging composite film with significantly enhanced UV shielding *** potential of these composite films in safeguarding plants from UV damage was meticulously ***,these PDHN NPs were first found to produce hydroxyl radicals(·OH)under UV irradiation,offering antibacterial properties that expand their potential applications.

The ozone(O_(3))pollution in china drew lots of attention in recent years,and the sichuan Basin(SCB)was one of the regions confronting worsening O_(3)pollution *** previous studies have shown that regional transport is an important contributor to O_(3)***,very few features of the O_(3)profile during transport have been reported,especially in the border regions between different administrative *** this study,we conducted tethered balloon soundings in SCB during the summer of 2.2. and captured a nocturnal O_(3)transport event during the ***,the O_(3)transport occurred in the bottom of the residual layer,between 2.0 and 500 m above ground ***,the transport pathway was directed from southeast to northwest based on the analysis of the wind field and air mass *** effect of transport in the residual layer on the surface O_(3)concentration was related to the spatial distribution of O_(3).For cities with high O_(3)concentrations in the upwind region,the transport process would bring clean air masses and abate *** downwind lightly polluted cities,the transport process would slow down the decreasing or even increase the surface O_(3)concentration during the *** provided observational facts on the profile features of a transboundary O_(3)transport event between two provincial administrative divisions,which implicated the importance of joint prevention and control ***,the sounding parameters were limited and the quantitative analysis was preliminary,more integrated,and thorough studies of this topic were called for in the future.

Rapid progress in high-throughput biotechnologies (e.g. microarrays) and exponential accumulation of gene functional knowledge makes it promising for systematic understanding of complex human diseases at the functional modules level. Current modular categorizations can be defined and selected more specifically and precisely in terms of both biological processes and cellular locations, aiming at uncovering the modular molecular networks highly relevant to cancers. Based on Gene Ontology, we identifed the functional modules enriched with differentially expressed genes and characterized by biological processes and specific cellular locations. Then, according to the ranking of the disease discriminating abilities of the pre-selected functional modules, we further defined and filtered signature modules which have higher relevance to the cancer under study. Applications of the proposed method to the analysis of a prostate cancer dataset revealed insightful biological modules.

Accumulating studies reveal that mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)promote skin wound healing mainly through the paracrine ***,one of the crucial paracrine mediators in wound healing,are cell-derived nanosized membranous vesicles containing diverse bioactive *** the potent ability of modulating skin cell behaviors,MSC-derived exosomes(MSC-Exos)are regarded as a promising nanomaterial for regenerative wound *** hostile conditions,MSC-Exos are efficient in protecting skin cells from severe damage and restoring their *** to recent studies,MSC-Exos possess remarkable pro-healing effects in a variety of skin wounds,typically resulting in increased wound closure,inhibited scar tissue formation,and better restoration of skin *** further enhance the therapeutic potential of MSC-Exos,the development of applicable pretreatment strategies and the optimization of exosome delivery are under intensive ***,we summarize current research progress of MSC-Exos for skin wound treatment,with an emphasis on the biological effects of these nanovesicles,the repair mechanisms,and future challenges in clinical translation.

Experiment of electrothermal stress for different types of end turn grading in the inverter-fed form-wound windings

End turn grading with resistive–capacitive coupling experiences severe electrothermal stress when subjected to pulse width modulation(PWM)*** this paper,several experiments and simulations were carried conducted for four types of end turn *** of all,the temperature rise in the end turn grading increased with a decrease in rise *** the rise time was less than 500 ns,the temperature rise at the terminal was higher owing to the increased capacitive current coupled from the main wall ***,the current in the linear region exhibited minimal variation at different fundamental frequencies resulting in synchronized the temperature rise at the terminal and ***,the jump voltage was the key factor influencing temperature rise in end turn grading,confirmed by comparing different voltage ***,the transient behaviour of the maximum field in the stress grading material was determined at rise *** experimental and simulation results indicate that balancing and interdependently addressing the electrical and thermal stress protection in end turn grading is *** study aims to provide an experimental and theoretical foundation for an insulation system of inverter-fed rotating machinery operating under PWM voltage.

Systematically determining the discriminatory power of various rainfall properties and their combinations in identifying debris flow occurrence is crucial for early warning *** this study,we evaluated the discriminatory power of different univariate and multivariate rainfall threshold models in identifying triggering conditions of debris flow in the Jiangjia Gully,Yunnan Province,*** univariate models used single rainfall properties as indicators,including total rainfall(R_(tot)),rainfall duration(D),mean intensity(I_(mean)),absolute energy(Eabs),storm kinetic energy(E_(s)),antecedent rainfall(R_(a)),and maximum rainfall intensity over various durations(I_(max_dur)).The evaluation reveals that the I_(max_dur)and Eabs models have the best performance,followed by the E_(s),R_(tot),and I_(mean)models,while the D and R_(a)models have poor ***,the I_(max_dur)model has the highest performance metrics at a 40-min *** used logistic regression to combine at least two rainfall properties to establish multivariate threshold *** results show that adding D or R_(a)to the models dominated by Eabs,E_(s),R_(tot),or I_(mean)generally improve their performances,specifically when D is combined with I_(mean)or when R_(a)is combined with Eabs or E_(s).Including R_(a)in the I_(max_dur)model,it performs better than the univariate I_(max_dur)model.A power-law relationship between I_(max_dur)and R_(a)or between Eabs and R_(a)has better performance than the traditional I_(mean)–D model,while the performance of the E_(s)–R_(a)model is *** evaluation reemphasizes the important role of the maximum intensity over short durations in debris flow *** also highlights the importance of systematically investigating the role of R_(a)in establishing rainfall thresholds for triggering debris *** the regional variations in rainfall patterns worldwide,it is necessary to evaluate the findings of this study across diverse watersheds.

Binuclear manganese complex [(bipy)2.n2.μ-O)(μ-Ac)2.H2.)2.(CIO4)2.was synthesized by the reaction of MnAc3 · 2.2. with 2.2.-bipyridine in the HAc-NaAc buffer (pH = 4.0). X-ray diffraction result for the single crystal shows that the crystal is monoclinic, space group C2.C, with a = 3.4082.7), 6 = 0.8644(2., c= 2.1.4 9(4) nm,β= 105.2., V =6.186(2. nm3, Z= 8. There are two very strong peaks of UV-Vis spectrum in the range of 400-600 nm, which are similar to those of Mn catalase and Mn ribonuleotide reductase extracted from organisms. Cyclic voltammogram shows that the complex in CH3CN undergoes quasi-reversible one-electron reduction and oxidation at E1/2.1.15V.
