The effect of freeze-thaw cycles in seawater on the performance of concrete was studied in this paper. Concrete samples with different water binder ratio and different component were prepared,and were then put into fresh water and synthesized seawater. After the experiments of freeze-thaw cycles,the mass loss,relative dynamic elastic modulus (RDEM) and compressive strength of each sample were tested. The results obtained reveal that with the increase of the water binder ratio,the resistance ability of freeze-thaw impact in seawater of concrete decrease dramatically. When the concrete contain 15% fly ash and 20% slag,its resistance ability to the freeze-thaw impact in seawater is the optimal. Compared to the seawater corrosion,the impact of freeze-thaw cycles to the properties of concrete is severer.

In this review,we delve into the intricate regulation of the tumor microenvironment(TME)under malignant conditions and explore the transformative potential of nanoscale metal-organic frameworks(nMOFs)in the realm of sonodynamic therapy(SDT).The TME serves as a dynamic milieu influencing tumor progression and therapeutic response,presenting formidable challenges,such as hypoxia,acidity,excess hydrogen peroxide,high expression of glutathione,and *** the exceptional attributes of nMOFs,including their tunable structures and biocompatibility,holds immense promise for enhancing SDT efficacy and reshaping the TME *** integrating nMOFs with SDT,researchers aim to assemble multiple functionalities in a single platform that enhance tumor cell eradication while counteracting unfavorable TME conditions and immune *** potential of nMOFs to revolutionize tumor therapies by precisely targeting TME and overcoming therapeutic barriers is underscored by an in-depth analysis of recent breakthroughs in the use of nMOFs-based sonosensitizers to remodulate TME to amplify the efficacy of SDT.

Adeno-associated virus(AAV)has emerged as a pivotal delivery tool in clinical gene therapy owing to its minimal pathogenicity and ability to establish long-term gene expression in different *** AAV(rAAV)has been engineered for enhanced specificity and developed as a tool for treating various ***,as rAAV is being more widely used as a therapy,the increased demand has created challenges for the existing manufacturing *** rAAV-based gene therapy products have received regulatory approval,but there continue to be concerns about safely using high-dose viral therapies in humans,including immune responses and adverse effects such as genotoxicity,hepatotoxicity,thrombotic microangiopathy,and *** this review,we explore AAV biology with an emphasis on current vector engineering strategies and manufacturing *** discuss how rAAVs are being employed in ongoing clinical trials for ocular,neurological,metabolic,hematological,neuromuscular,and cardiovascular diseases as well as *** outline immune responses triggered by rAAV,address associated side effects,and discuss strategies to mitigate these *** hope that discussing recent advancements and current challenges in the field will be a helpful guide for researchers and clinicians navigating the ever-evolving landscape of rAAV-based gene therapy.

Optical materials with circularly polarized luminescence(CPL)features have attracted a growing interest due to their crucial role in biological sensing,display,spintronics,information storage,and so ***,CPL emissions in hybrid nanoparticle systems,in particular,chirality transfer induced CPL from chiral plasmonic nanoparticles,have rarely been explored due to a lack of effective bottom-up synthesis ***,we creatively take advantage of the newly introduced chiral plasmonic nanoparticles-gold nanohelicoid(GNH)to excite the CPL of achiral Rhodamine 6G(R6G).The fabricated GNH@R6G-SiO_(2)shows obvious CPL signals with|glum|up to *** with the single GNH,the photoluminescence(PL)dissymmetry factor of the single GNH@R6G-SiO_(2)is similar,but with 25 folds higher PL intensities under different circular *** research not only offers an effective and feasible method to fabricate single-particle level CPL-active materials,but also provides guidelines on how to regulate the CPL of achiral luminophores from chiral plasmonic nanostructures,thereby enlarging the category and quantity of CPL-active materials that can be applied for photonic technologies and visualization biosensing,especially some intracellular chirality related detection.

The classical Ray-Knight theorems for the brownian motion determine the law of its local time process either at the first hitting time of a given value a by the local time at the origin,or at the first hitting time of a given position b by the brownian *** extend these results by describing the local time process jointly for all a and b,by means of the stochastic integral with respect to an appropriate white *** result applies toμ-processes,and has an immediate application:aμ-process is the height process of a Feller continuous-state branching process(CSbP)with immigration(Lambert(2002)),whereas a Feller CSbP with immigration satisfies a stochastic differential equation(SDE)driven by a white noise(Dawson and Li(2012));our result gives an explicit relation between these two descriptions and shows that the SDE in question is a reformulation of Tanaka’s formula.

The initial-boundary value problem of an anisotropic porous medium equation■is *** with the usual porous medium equation,there are two different characteristics in this *** lies in its anisotropic property,another one is that there is a nonnegative variable diffusion coefficient a(x,t)*** a(x,t)may be degenerate on the parabolic boundary∂Ω×(0,T),instead of the boundedness of the gradient|∇u|for the usual porous medium,we can only show that∇u∈L^(∞)(0,T;L^(2)_(loc)(Ω)).based on this property,the partial boundary value conditions matching up with the anisotropic porous medium equation are discovered and two stability theorems of weak solutions can be proved naturally.

Edible plant derived exosome-like nanoparticles(ELNs)have been shown to have multiple nutraceutical ***,the diversity of plant materials makes the plant derived ELN study *** efforts are still needed to explore the feasible isolation methods of edible plant derived ELNs and the possible roles of food-derived ELNs in improving human *** this study,a size exclusion chromatography based method was compared with the traditional ultracentrifugation method to isolate blueberry derived ELNs(b-ELNs),and the miRNA profile of b-ELNs was analyzed by high-throughput sequencing.A total of 36 miRNAs were found to be enriched in b-ELNs compared with berry tissue,and their potential cross-kingdom human gene targets were further *** showed that size exclusion chromatography was effective for b-ELN *** most abundant miRNAs in b-ELNs mainly belonged to the miR166 family and miR396 *** gene prediction indicated that b-ELNs could potentially regulate pathways related to the human digestive system,immune system and infectious diseases.

In order to avoid the formation ofηphase(W_(6)Co_(6)C or W_(3)Co_(3)C)that adversely affects the sintering process and its products in the preparation process of ultra-fine WC-Co powder,a technical route of prereduction of WO_(3)-Co_(3)O_(4)to WO_(2)-Co and then deep reduction carbonization to WC-Co powder has been *** study mainly investigates the influence of gas partial pressure on the pre-reduction process of WO_(3)-Co_(3)O_(4)under a mixed atmosphere of H_(2)-C_(2)H_(4)-Ar at 600℃and establishes the kinetic equations of pre-reduction and carbon *** results indicate that increasing the partial pressure of hydrogen is conducive to the rapid and complete conversion of WO_(3) to WO_(2).High carbon content can be generated by the deposition of C_(2)H_(4),and it hinders the diffusion of the reducing gas;WO_(3)still cannot be completely reduced to WO_(2)as the partial pressure of C_(2)H_(4) increases to 60%.For the carbon evolution of C_(2)H_(4),the carbon amount is positively related to the H_(2)partial pressure,but it shows the highest amount and evolution rate when the ethylene partial pressure is 20%.based on the reduction rate curves of WO_(3) and carbon evolution rate curves of C_(2)H_(4),the rate equations of pre-reduction and carbon evolution of WO_(3)-Co_(3)O_(4)system at 600℃are *** pre-reduction reaction belongs to the first-order reaction,and its equation is expressed as follows:r=-(dw_(WO_(3)))/dt=(9±0.15)×10^(-2)×P_(H_(2))^(0.44)P_(C_(2)H_(4))&(0.57)The carbon deposition rate equation of C_(2)H_(4) can be expressed as follows:r=-(dc_C)/dt=r_f-r_b≌7.35×10^(-2)×P_(C_(2)H_(4))^(0.31)
