thermodynamic behavior of nitropen in Fe-Cr-Ni alloys at 1873K is discussed in the present study. the dependence of upon the content of Cr in Fe-Cr-Ni-N melt is expressed. the present authors’ formalism[17] developed for describing thermodynamics of metallic multicomponent systems is successfully applied to the Fe-Cr-Ni-N quaternary system.

With the increase of communication frequency,terahertz(tHz)communication technology has been an important research feld;particularly the terahertz modulator is becoming one of the core devices in tHz communication *** modulation performance of a tHz communication system depends on the characterization of tHz *** modulators based on diferent principles and materials have been studied and ***,they are still on the way to practical application due to low modulation speed,narrow bandwidth,and insufcient modulation ***,we review the research progress of tHz modulator in recent years and evaluate devices critically and *** focus on the working principles such as electric,optical,optoelectrical,thermal,magnetic,programmable metamaterials and nonlinear modulation methods for tHz wave with semiconductors,metamaterials,and 2D materials(such as graphene,molybdenum disulfde,and tungsten disulfde).Furthermore,we propose a guiding rule to select appropriate materials and modulation methods for specifc applications in tHz communication.

this study focuses on the effects of a polytropic fluid on a charged gravitational source within f(t) gravity, where t is the torsion scalar. We investigate how the electromagnetic field affects the flow of energy in spherically symmetric and static celestial objects that contain relativistic fluids. By using the gravitational decoupling technique, we analyze the effects of polytropic fluid on the dynamics of the gravitational source, accompanied by the matching of the interior geometry with an exterior at the hypersurface Σ. Finally, with the help of the tolman ⅡV solution, we observe the conduct of energy conditions with the existence of charge using f(t)field equations and got the intended outcomes.

Background: Hypoxia is a significant risk factor of hypertension. However, no studies have used transcutaneous tissue partial pressure of oxygen (tcPO2) and partial pressure of carbon dioxide (tcPCO2) monitors to measure the respective partial pressures in healthy individuals. Oxygen saturation (SpO2) is often used for traditional monitoring of vital signs. this study investigated the changes in tcPO2 and SpO2 values during rapid changes in altitude. the trial was registered at *** (registration no. NCt06076057). Methods: Healthy adult volunteers were instructed to sit vertically in a hypobaric oxygen chamber, which ascended from 0 m to 2500 m at a uniform speed within 10 min. the Danish Radiometer tCM4 was used to measure tcPO2 and tcPCO2 with the ventral side of the upper arm as the measurement site. the Shenzhen Kerokan P0D-1 W pulse oximeter was used to measure heart rate and SpO2, with values recorded once every 500 m. Results: Altogether, 49 healthy volunteers were recruited between march 2023 and August 2023. With increasing altitude, tcPO2 and SpO2 decreased significantly (P the ascent from 0 m, tcPO2 began to change statistically at 500 m (P to change statistically at 1000 m (P t the same altitude, the difference in tcPO2 was greater than the difference in SpO2. At 1000 m, there were statistically significant changes in tcPO2 and SpO2 (P t altitudes >500 m, statistical significance was identified between tcPO2 in both sexes (P tatistical significance in tcPCO2 and heart rate was observed at the different elevations (P tely changing low-pressure hypoxic environments, tcPO2 changed more dramatically than SpO2 © Wolters Kluwer Health, Inc. B_(4)C/Al composites are widely utilized as neutron absorbing materials for the storage and transportation of spent nuclear *** order to improve the high-temperature mechanical properties of B_(4)C/Al composites,in-situ nano-Al_(2)O_(3)was introduced utilizing oxide on Al powder *** this study,the Al_(2)O_(3)content was adjusted by utilizing spheroid Al powder with varying diameters,thereby investigating the impact of Al_(2)O_(3)content on the tensile properties of(B_(4)C+Al_(2)O_(3))/Al *** was found that the pinning effect of Al_(2)O_(3)on the grain boundaries could hinder the recovery of dislocations and lead to dislocation accumulation at high *** the result,with the increase in Al_(2)O_(3)content and the decrease in grain size,the high-temperature strength of the composites increased *** finest Al powder used in this investigation had a diameter of 1.4μm,whereas the resultant composite exhibited a maximum strength of 251 MPa at room temperature and 133 MPa at 350℃,surpassing that of traditional B_(4)C/Al composites.

A novel Eu^(2+)-Eu^(3+)co-activated ratiometric thermo-sensitive phosphor was developed and synthesized by solid-state *** valence state of Eu,photoluminescence and thermo-sensitive performance of the phosphor prepared either in ambient air or carbothermally were investigated and *** phosphor shows high sensitivity(Sa=0.0173 K^(-1),S_(r)=0.461%/K)and superior signal discriminability(Δν∼10380 cm^(−1)).the thermo-sensitive performance is subject to the dual effects of different thermo-responses by Eu^(2+)versus Eu^(3+)combined with energy transfer from Eu^(2+)to Eu^(3+),so that the sensitivity of the phosphor in the temperature range presents a non-monotonic *** development of the BaAl_(2)B_(2)O_(7):Eu^(2+),Eu^(3+)phosphor is not only expected to be relevant for application in the field of temperature sensing,but also of reference significance for improving the sensitivity by means of energy transfer between co-activator ions over a wider temperature range of Eu^(2+)-Eu^(3+)co-activated ratiometric thermo-sensitive phosphors.

Serum amylase as a novel prognostic marker of organophosphorus poisoning: a retrospective study

Background: this study aims to explore the significance of serum amylase levels in patients with organophosphorus pesticide (OP) poisoning and to provide a new perspective for evaluating the severity and prognosis of OP poisoning. Methods: the clinical data of 67 patients with acute OP poisoning, who had been treated in the emergency department of the General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University between September 2020 and August 2022, were retrospectively analyzed. Using Spearman rank correlation, serum amylase levels during admission and severity of poisoning correlated with discharge outcomes. Based on serum amylase levels, receiver operating characteristic curves were plotted to predict the severity and mortality of patients who experience organophosphate poisoning. the optimal threshold serum amylase level at admission was determined based on the maximum Youden index. Results: Using Spearman rank correlation analysis, serum amylase levels at admission positively correlated with the severity of poisoning and discharge outcomes, but the degree of correlation was weak (rs: 0.344; 0.264; P the patients’ serum amylase levels at admission had receiver operating characteristic area under the curve values of 0.726 and 0.735 to predict the degree of severe poisoning and death, respectively. Based on the maximum Youden index, the optimal threshold of serum amylase were 97.8 and 194.1 U/L when the degree of poisoning was severe and the discharge outcome of patients was died. In comparison to patients with serum amylase levels ≤194.1 U/L at admission, the OR values of death in patients with serum amylase levels >194.1 U/L at admission was 15.944 (95% CI: 1.825–139.274). Conclusion: Serum amylase levels in patients with organophosphate poisoning correlate with the degree of poisoning and discharge outcomes. Higher serum amylase level was a risk factor for organophosphorus poisoning death. © Wolters Kluwer Health, Inc. All rights reserved.
