Objective To identify whether Banxia Xiexin Decoction(BXD)alleviates cerebral glucose metabolism disorder by intestinal microbiota regulation in APP/PS1 *** Forty-five 3-month-old male APP/PS1 mice were divided into 3 groups using a random number table(n=15 per group),including a model group(MG),a liraglutide group(LG)and a BXD group(BG).Fifteen 3-month-old male C57BL/6j wild-type mice were used as the control group(CG).Mice in the BG were administered BXD granules by gavage at a dose of 6 g/(kg·d)for 3 months,while mice in the LG were injected intraperitoneally once daily with Liraglutide Injection(25 nmol/kg)for 3 ***,liquid chromatography with tandem-mass spectrometry was used to analyze the active components of BXD granules and the medicated serum of ***,the cognitive deficits,Aβpathological change and synaptic plasticity markers,including synaptophysin(SYP)and postsynaptic density protein 95(PSD95),were measured in APP/PS1 *** glucose uptake was detected by micropositron emission *** microbial constituents were detected by 16S rRNA *** levels of intestinal glucagon-like peptide 1(GLP-1)and cerebral GLP-1 receptor(GLP-1R),as well as the phosphoinositide-3-kinase/protein kinase B/glycogen synthase kinase-3β(PI3K/Akt/GSK3β)insulin signaling pathway were determined by immunohistochemical(IHC)staining and Western blot analysis,*** BXD ameliorated cognitive deficits and Aβpathological features(P<0.01).The expressions of SYP and PSD95 in the BG were higher than those in the MG(P<0.01).Brain glucose uptake in the BG was higher than that in the MG(P<0.01).The intestinal microbial composition in the BG was partially *** levels of intestinal GLP-1 in the BG were higher than those in the MG(P<0.01).Compared with the MG,the expression levels of hippocampal GLP-1R,Akt,PI3K and p-PI3K in the BG were significantly increased(P<0.01),while the levels of GSK3βwere reduced(P<0.01).Conclusion BXD

The use of lithium-sulfur batteries under high sulfur loading and low electrolyte concentrations is severely restricted by the detrimental shuttling behavior of polysulfides and the sluggish kinetics in redox ***-dimensional(2D)few layered black phosphorus with fully exposed atoms and high sulfur affinity can be potential lithium-sulfur battery electrocatalysts,which,however,have limitations of restricted catalytic activity and poor electrochemical/chemical *** resolve these issues,we developed a multifunctional metal-free catalyst by covalently bonding few layered black phosphorus nanosheets with nitrogen-doped carbon-coated multiwalled carbon nanotubes(denoted c-FBP-NC).The experimental characterizations and theoretical calculations show that the formed polarized P-N covalent bonds in c-FBP-NC can efficiently regulate electron transfer from NC to FBP and significantly promote the capture and catalysis of lithium polysulfides,thus alleviating the shuttle ***,the robust 1D-2D interwoven structure with large surface area and high porosity allows strong physical confinement and fast mass ***,with c-FBP-NC as the sulfur host,the battery shows a high areal capacity of 7.69 mAh cm^(−2) under high sulfur loading of 8.74 mg cm^(−2) and a low electrolyte/sulfur ratio of 5.7μL mg^(−1).Moreover,the assembled pouch cell with sulfur loading of 4 mg cm^(−2) and an electrolyte/sulfur ratio of 3.5μL mg^(−1) shows good rate capability and outstanding *** work proposes an interfacial and electronic structure engineering strategy for fast and durable sulfur electrochemistry,demonstrating great potential in lithium-sulfur batteries.

Background:The enduring and detrimental impact of childhood trauma on later health and well-being is now well ***,research on the relationship between childhood trauma and depressive symptoms,along with the potential risk and protective factors,is insufficient in the context of Chinese college student ***:Data on childhood trauma,depressive symptoms,resilience,and subjective well-being were collected through surveys conducted with 367 Chinese university *** data collected in this study were analyzed using SPSS 26.0 and PROCESS ***:The results revealed that subjective well-being mediated the relationship between childhood trauma and depressive symptoms among college students,with direct and indirect effects accounting for 59.46%and 40.54%of the total effect,*** pathway process between subjective well-being and depressive symptoms was moderated by resilience,whereby an increase in resilience levels corresponded to a gradual escalation in the predictive power of subjective well-being on depressive ***:The study indicates that childhood trauma significantly and positively predicts depressive symptoms among college students,and it can also directly predict depressive symptoms through the mediating effect of subjective *** levels of psychological resilience and subjective well-being among college students can mitigate depression and promote psychological *** the perspective of positive psychology,the present study provides a new perspective for the prevention and intervention of depressive symptoms among college students.

Reconfigurable and polarization-dependent optical filtering for transflective full-color generation utilizing low-loss phase-change materials

All-dielectric metasurface, which features low optical absorptance and high resolution, is becoming a promising candidate for full-color generation. However, the optical response of current metamaterials is fixed and lacks active tuning. In this work, we demonstrate a reconfigurable and polarization-dependent active color generation technique by incorporating low-loss phase change materials(PCMs) and CaF_2 all-dielectric substrate. Based on the strong Mie resonance effect and low optical absorption structure, a transflective, full-color with high color purity and gamut value is achieved. The spectrum can be dynamically manipulated by changing either the polarization of incident light or the PCM state. High transmittance and reflectance can be simultaneously achieved by using low-loss PCMs and substrate. The novel active metasurfaces can bring new inspiration in the areas of optical encryption, anti-counterfeiting, and display technologies.
