Designing novel lubricants with easily customized structures,devisable compositions,and simple and economic synthesis over traditional lubricants is critical to fulfilling complex applications,prolonging machine lifetime,and saving energy.Deep eutectic solvents(DESs),which show tunable composition,adjustable structure,easy fabrication,and environmental friendliness,are promising candidates for variable and complicated lubricants applications.To promote the use of DESs as lubricants,a series of PEG200-based DESs with active heteroatoms were fabricated to tailor the tribological performance via tribo-chemistry.Thereinto,PEG200/boric acid(BA)DES shows optimal lubrication performance by forming tribo-chemical reaction film composited of B2O3,iron oxides,and FeOOH,and PEG200/thiourea(TU)DES displays abrasive wear-reducing property by producing FeS tribo-chemical film.Given the excellent abrasive wear-resistance of PEG200/TU DES and friction reduction of PEG200/BA DES,ternary PEG200/BA/TU DESs,composited of PEG200/TU DES and PEG200/BA DES,are first exploited.The ternary DESs possess superior wettability and thermal stability,which render them potential lubricants.Tribological tests of the ternary DESs demonstrate that synergistic lubrication is achieved by forming a transfer film consisting of FexBy,BN,B2O3,and FeS.Wherein FexBy,BN,and B2O3 increase load bearing of the film,and FeS mitigates severe abrasive wear.The proposed design philosophy of novel DESs as lubricants opens up a unique realm that is unattainable by traditional DESs lubrication mechanisms and provides a platform to design next-generation DESs lubrication systems.

Background:Liver cancer is largely resistant to chemotherapy.This study aimed to identify the effective chemotherapeutics forβ-catenin-activated liver cancer which is caused by gain-of-function mutation of catenin beta 1(CTNNB1),the most frequently altered proto-oncogene in hepatic neoplasms.Methods:Constitutiveβ-catenin-activated mouse embryonic fibroblasts(MEFs)were established by deleting exon 3(β-catenin^(Δ(ex3)/+)),the most common mutation site in CTNNB1 gene.A screening of 12 widely used chemotherapy drugs was conducted for the ones that selectively inhibitedβ-catenin^(Δ(ex3)/+)but not for wild-type MEFs.Untargeted metabolomics was carried out to examine the alterations of metabolites in nucleotide synthesis.The efficacy and selectivity of methotrexate(MTX)onβ-catenin-activated human liver cancer cells were determined in vitro.Immuno-deficient nude mice subcutaneously inoculated withβ-catenin wild-type or mutant liver cancer cells and hepatitis B virus(HBV);β-catenin^(lox(ex3)/+)mice were used,respectively,to evaluate the efficacy of MTX in the treatment ofβ-catenin mutant liver cancer.Results:MTX was identified and validated as a preferential agent against the proliferation and tumor formation ofβ-catenin-activated cells.Boosted nucleotide synthesis was the major metabolic aberration inβ-catenin-active cells,and this alteration was also the target of MTX.Moreover,MTX abrogated hepatocarcinogenesis of HBV;β-catenin^(lox(ex3)/+)mice,which stimulated concurrent Ctnnb1-activated mutation and HBV infection in liver cancer.Conclusion:MTX is a promising chemotherapeutic agent forβ-catenin hyperactive liver cancer.Since repurposing MTX has the advantages of lower risk,shorter timelines,and less investment in drug discovery and development,a clinical trial is warranted to test its efficacy in the treatment ofβ-catenin mutant liver cancer.

Although spatial charge separation between different facets of semiconductor crystals has been recognized as a general strategy in photocatalysis, the vital role of crystal morphology symmetry in charge separation properties still remains elusive. Herein,taking monoclinic bismuth vanadate(BiVO_(4)) as a platform, we found distinct charge separation difference via rationally tailoring the morphology symmetry from octahedral to truncated octahedral crystals. For octahedral BiVO_(4), photogenerated electrons and holes can be separated between edges and quasi-equivalent facets. However, as for truncated octahedral crystals,photogenerated electrons tend to transfer to {010} facets while photogenerated holes prefer to accumulate on {120} facets, thus realizing the spatial separation of photogenerated charge between different facets. Morphology tailoring of BiVO_(4) crystals leads to a significantly improved photogenerated charge separation efficiency and photocatalytic water oxidation activity. The built-in electric field for driving the separation of photogenerated electrons and holes is considered to be modulated by tuning the morphology symmetry of BiVO_(4) crystals. This work discloses the significant roles of morphology symmetry in photogenerated charge separation and facilitates the rational design of artificial photocatalysts.

Generally shortened 3′UTR due to alternative polyadenylation(APA)is widely observed in cancer,but its regulation mechanisms for cancer are not well characterized.Here,with profiling of APA in colorectal cancer tissues and poly(A)signal editing,we firstly identified that the shortened 3′UTR of CTNNIBP1 in colorectal cancer promotes cell proliferation and migration.We found that liquid-liquid phase separation(LLPS)of PABPN1 is reduced albeit with higher expression in cancer,and the reduction of LLPS leads to the shortened 3′UTR of CTNNBIP1and promotes cell proliferation and migration.Notably,the splicing factor SNRPD2 upregulated in colorectal cancer,can interact with glutamic-proline(EP)domain of PABPN1,and then disrupt LLPS of PABPN1,which attenuates the repression effect of PABPN1 on the proximal poly(A)sites.Our results firstly reveal a new regulation mechanism of APA by disruption of LLPS of PABPN1,suggesting that regulation of APA by interfering LLPS of 3′end processing factor may have the potential as a new way for the treatment of cancer.

With the dramatic developments of renewable and environmental-friendly electrochemical energy conversion systems,there is an urgent need to fabricate durable and efficient electrocatalysts to address the limitation of high overpotentials exceeding thermodynamic requirements to facilitate practical applications.Recently,tellurium-based nanomaterials(Te NMs)with unique chemical,electronic,and topological properties,including Te-derived nanostructures and transition metal tellurides(TMTs),have emerged as one of the most promising electrocatalytic materials.In the absence of comprehensive and guiding reviews,this review comprehensively summarizes the main advances in designing emerging Te NMs for electrocatalysis.First,the engineering strategies and principles of Te NMs to enhance their electrocatalytic activity and stability from the nanostructures to the catalytic atoms are discussed in detail,especially on the chemical/physical/multiplex templating strategies,heteroatom doping,vacancy/defect engineering,phase engineering,and the corresponding mechanisms and structure-performance correlations.Then,typical applications of Te NMs in electrocatalysis are also discussed in detail.Finally,the existing key issues and main challenges of Te NMs for electrocatalysis are highlighted,and the development trend of Te NMs as electrocatalysts is expounded.This review provides new concepts to guide future directions for developing Te NMs-based electrocatalysts,thereby promoting their future wide applications in electrochemical energy systems.

The outbreak of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)in late 2019 has negatively affected people's lives and productivity.Because the mode of transmission of SARS-CoV-2 is of great concern,this review discusses the sources of virus aerosols and possible transmission routes.First,we discuss virus aerosol collection methods,including natural sedimentation,solid impact,liquid impact,centrifugal,cyclone and electrostatic adsorption methods.Then,we review common virus aerosol detection methods,including virus culture,metabolic detection,nucleic acid-based detection and immunology-based detection methods.Finally,possible solutions for the detection of SARS-CoV-2 aerosols are introduced.Point-of-care testing has long been a focus of attention.In the near future,the development of an instrument that integrates sampling and output results will enable the real-time,automatic monitoring of patients.

本文以中国后发企业2022—2023两年追踪的调研问卷数据为样本,实证分析专利侵权风险管理对后发企业技术赶超的影响,以及技术创新的中介作用,技术能力、知识产权保护的调节作用。研究发现:专利侵权风险管理正向影响后发企业技术赶超;技术创新在专利侵权风险管理与后发企业技术赶超中发挥部分中介作用,且该作用兼具当期效应与时滞效应;技术能力以及知识产权保护能够显著影响专利侵权风险管理对技术创新的作用。研究结果在考虑内生性问题以及稳健性检验后依然成立,为专利侵权风险管理的创新驱动效应提供实证依据,引导中国后发企业在繁茂的“专利丛林”中砥砺前行。

目的探讨伴卵黄囊瘤分化的SMARCA4(BRG1)缺失型鼻腔鼻窦癌的临床病理学特征、诊断及鉴别诊断。方法收集中国科学技术大学附属第一医院(安徽省立医院)2019年10月至2023年2月初诊为鼻腔鼻窦卵黄囊瘤或鼻腔鼻窦肿瘤转移后诊断为卵黄囊瘤的病例,复诊为伴卵黄囊瘤分化的SMARCA4(BRG1)缺失型鼻腔鼻窦癌共2例,探究其临床病理学特征。结果2例均为男性,发病年龄分别为37和68岁,临床均以鼻腔出血为首发症状。镜下观察,例1由经典SMARCA4(BRG1)缺失型鼻腔鼻窦癌和卵黄囊瘤成分混合构成。在复发转移至脑组织后完全为卵黄囊瘤形态。例2原发即完全为卵黄囊瘤形态。2例的卵黄囊瘤成分均表达广谱细胞角蛋白、SALL4、Glypican3和甲胎蛋白,均见SMARCA4(BRG1)表达缺失,但SMARCB1(INI1)均未见失表达。例1术后10个月复发,复发后1个月发现右额叶转移。例2术后9 d突发晕倒伴呼吸困难,抢救无效死亡。结论伴卵黄囊瘤分化的SMARCA4(BRG1)缺失型鼻腔鼻窦癌罕见,本文报道的2例均发生于男性。该肿瘤完全呈卵黄囊瘤形态时易误诊,需引起病理诊断医师的关注。

本研究旨在考察智力障碍儿童对不同对象(朋友和陌生人)的分享行为,同时探讨心理理论对不同对象分享行为的预测作用。研究共选取了82名智力障碍儿童作为被试,并通过言语能力分数匹配了82名典型发展儿童作为对照,结果发现:(1) 7~17岁(儿童中期和青少年期)的智力障碍儿童和心理年龄相匹配的典型发展儿童一样,对朋友的分享都显著高于对陌生人的分享;(2)心理理论预测了智力障碍儿童对陌生人的分享行为,但不能显著预测对朋友的分享行为。这些结果表明相比于陌生人,智力障碍儿童和典型发展儿童对朋友表现出更多的分享,且智力障碍儿童偏爱朋友分享的现象从儿童中期持续到了青少年期;心理理论是智力障碍儿童对陌生人分享的相关因素。
