By combining 5,10,15,20-tetra(4-chlorine)phenylporphyrin(TClPP)andα-Keggin polyoxometalate H_(5)PV_(2)Mo_(10)O_(40)(H 5 PVMo)via a simple ion-exchange method,an organic-inorganic hybrid material[C_(44)H_(28)N_(4)Cl_(4)]_(1.5)[H_(2)PMo_(10)V_(2)O_(40)]·2C_(2)H_(6)O(H_(2 )TClPP-H_(2) PVMo)was prepared and thoroughly characterized by a variety of techniques.The homogeneous photocatalytic degradation of 2-chloroethyl ethyl sulfide(CEES)(5μL)by H_(2) TClPP-H_(2) PVMo(1×10^(−6)mol/L)was studied in methanol and methanol-water mixed solvent(v/v=1:1),in which the degradation rate of CEES reached 99.52%and 99.14%,respectively.The reaction followed first-order reaction kinetics,and the half-life and kinetic constant in methanol and the mixed solvent were respectively 33.0min,−0.021 min−1 and 15.7min,−0.043 min−1.Mechanism analysis indicated that under visible light irradiation in the air,CEES was degraded via oxidation and alcoholysis/hydrolysis in methanol and the mixed solvent.O_(2)·−and ^(1)O_(2) generated by H_(2) TClPP-H_(2) PVMo selectively oxidized CEES into a nontoxic sulfoxide.Singlet oxygen capture experiments showed that H_(2) TClPP-H_(2) PVMo(φ=0.73)had a higher quantum yield of singlet oxygen than TClPP(φ=0.35)under an air atmosphere and visible light irradiation.

The COVID‐19 vaccine: Attitudes and vaccination in patients with autoimmune inflammatory rheumatic diseases

Background:We examined attitudes toward the COVID‐19 vaccine,potential factors underlying these attitudes,and ways to increase vaccination willingness in autoimmune inflammatory rheumatic diseases(AIIRD)patients.Methods:A multicenter,web‐based,observational survey using an online questionnaire was conducted among AIIRD patients aged≥18 years from May 24,2021,to June 3,2021.Participants were 3104 AIIRD patients(2921 unvaccinated and 183 vaccinated).Results:Of the unvaccinated patients,32.9%were willing to receive the COVID‐19 vaccine,45.0%were uncertain,and 14.8%were unwilling.When vaccination was recommended by physicians,patients'willingness increased to 93.8%.Participants'main concerns were that the vaccine may aggravate AIIRD disease(63.0%)and may cause vaccine‐related adverse events(19.9%).Female patients were less likely to be vaccinated.However,patients who had children aged≤18 years were more willing to be vaccinated.In addition,vaccination willingness was higher in patients with trust in the safety and efficacy of the COVID‐19 vaccine.Notably,183(5.9%)patients were vaccinated.The major vaccination side effects were injection reaction,myalgia,and fatigue.At a median follow‐up of 88(38,131)days,patients'disease activities were stable.Conclusions:The findings show that AIIRD patients were unwilling to receive the COVID‐19 vaccine because of fears of potential disease exacerbation and additional adverse events.Sociodemographic characteristics and concerns about COVID‐19 disease and vaccines had a significant effect on vaccination willingness.

Rheumatoid arthritis(RA)is an aggressive autoimmune arthritis,and current therapies remain unsatisfactory due to low remission rate and substantially adverse effects.Low-dose interleukin-2(Ld-IL2)is potentially a therapeutic approach to further improve the disease.This randomized,double-blind,placebo-controlled trial was undertaken to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Ld-IL2 in patients with active RA.Patients were randomly assigned(1:1)to receive Ld-IL2,defined as a dose of 1 million IU,or placebo in a 12-week trial with a 12-week follow-up.Three cycles of Ld-IL2 or placebo were administered subcutaneously every other day for 2 weeks(a total of 7 doses),followed by a 2-week break.All patients received a stable dose of methotrexate(MTX).The primary outcomes were the proportion of patients achieving the ACR20,DAS28-ESR<2.6,and the change from baseline in CDAI or SDAI at week 24.Secondary endpoints included other clinical responses and safety.The primary outcomes were achieved in the perprotocol population.The improvements from baseline in CDAI and SDAI were significantly greater across time points for the LdIL2+MTX group(n=17)than for the placebo+MTX group(n=23)(P=0.018 and P=0.015,respectively).More patients achieved ACR20 response in the Ld-IL2+MTX group than those in the placebo+MTX group at week 12(70.6%vs 43.5%)and at week 24(76.5%vs 56.5%)(P=0.014).In addition,low Treg and high IL-21 were associated with good responses to Ld-IL2.Ld-IL-2 treatment was well-tolerated in this study.These results suggested that Ld-IL2 was effective and safe in RA.ClinicalTrials.gov number:NCT 02467504.

Associated dynamic performance of the clamping force control valve used in continuously variable transmission （CVT） is optimized. Firstly, the structure and working principle of the valve are analyzed, and then a dynamic model is set up by means of mechanism analysis. For the purpose of checking the validity of the modeling method, a prototype workpiece of the valve is manufactured for comparison test, and its simulation result follows the experimental result quite well. An associated performance index is founded considering the response time, overshoot and saving energy, and five structural parameters are selected to adjust for deriving the optimal associated performance index. The optimization problem is solved by the genetic algorithm （GA） with necessary constraints. Finally, the properties of the optimized valve are compared with those of the prototype workpiece, and the results prove that the dynamic performance indexes of the optimized valve are much better than those of the prototype workpiece.

Two new porphyrin-polyoxometalate hybrids,namely,[(C H) N]H[{COH NC(CH O) P V WO} CN H]·CH CN 1 bearing two covalent-bonded Wells-Dawson type polyoxometalates(POMs) and[(C H) N)] H[COHNC(CH O) P V WO{CHN}]·CH CN 2 bearing one covalent-bonded POM,have been synthesized and thoroughly characterized by means of elemental analysis,ICP,powder XRD,FT-IR, H(P,V) NMR,MALDI-TOF-MS,UV-vis.spectra and cyclic voltammetry measurement.Experimental results demonstrate that while all the compounds show remarkable third-order optical nonlinearities,the hybrids 1 and 2 are superior to their corresponding porphyrin precursors(molecular second hyperpolarizability γ = 8.0×10esu for the precursor 54-N-N(1,3-tetrahydroxy-2-(dihydroxymethyl)propan-4-di-yl)benzdiamide,10,15,triphenyl porphyrin for the hybrid 1,γ = 2.6×10esu for the precursor 54-N-(1,3-dihydroxy-2-(hydroxymethyl)propan-2-yl)benz-amide,10,15,20-triphenyl porphyrinfor the hybrid 2)and the hybrid 1(γ= 12.9×10esu) is superior to the hybrid 2(γ = 12.2×10esu) reflecting more POM moieties covalent-bonded to the porphyrin moiety exert more significant influence on the third-order optical nonlinearities.Meantime,it is also found that attachment of POMs on the porphyrin results in significant fluorescence quenching(fluorescence intensity is decreased 97%for the hybrid 1 and 80%for the hybrid 2 with respect to that of their corresponding porphyrin precursors).Small energy difference between singlet and triplet excited states make faster the intersystem crossing(ISC) process,and the faster rate of ISC is also favorable to enhance the NLO responses of hybrids 1 and 2 implying facile electron/energy transfer from the porphyrin moiety to the Dawson POM moiety when the hybrids are subjected to laser irradiation,which is thought to be responsible to the superior of the hybrid 1 to hybrid 2 and the superior of the hybrids to their corresponding porphyrin precursors as well.

This paper mainly introduces the parallel physics-informed neural networks(PPINNs)method with regularization strategies to solve the data-driven forward-inverse problems of the variable coefficient modified Korteweg-de Vries(VC-MKdV)equation.For the forward problem of the VC-MKdV equation,the authors use the traditional PINN method to obtain satisfactory data-driven soliton solutions and provide a detailed analysis of the impact of network width and depth on solving accuracy and speed.Furthermore,the author finds that the traditional PINN method outperforms the one with locally adaptive activation functions in solving the data-driven forward problems of the VC-MKdV equation.As for the data-driven inverse problem of the VC-MKdV equation,the author introduces a parallel neural networks to separately train the solution function and coefficient function,successfully addressing the function discovery problem of the VC-MKdV equation.To further enhance the network’s generalization ability and noise robustness,the author incorporates two regularization strategies into the PPINNs.An amount of numerical experimental data in this paper demonstrates that the PPINNs method can effectively address the function discovery problem of the VC-MKdV equation,and the inclusion of appropriate regularization strategies in the PPINNs can improves its performance.

High-performance ion-conducting hydrogels(ICHs)are vital for developing flexible electronic devices.However,the robustness and ion-conducting behavior of ICHs deteriorate at extreme tempera-tures,hampering their use in soft electronics.To resolve these issues,a method involving freeze–thawing and ionizing radiation technology is reported herein for synthesizing a novel double-network(DN)ICH based on a poly(ionic liquid)/MXene/poly(vinyl alcohol)(PMP DN ICH)system.The well-designed ICH exhibits outstanding ionic conductivity(63.89 mS cm^(-1) at 25℃),excellent temperature resistance(-60–80℃),prolonged stability(30 d at ambient temperature),high oxidation resist-ance,remarkable antibacterial activity,decent mechanical performance,and adhesion.Additionally,the ICH performs effectively in a flexible wireless strain sensor,thermal sensor,all-solid-state supercapacitor,and single-electrode triboelectric nanogenerator,thereby highlighting its viability in constructing soft electronic devices.The highly integrated gel structure endows these flexible electronic devices with stable,reliable signal output performance.In particular,the all-solid-state supercapacitor containing the PMP DN ICH electrolyte exhibits a high areal specific capacitance of 253.38 mF cm^(-2)(current density,1 mA cm^(-2))and excellent environmental adaptability.This study paves the way for the design and fabrication of high-performance mul-tifunctional/flexible ICHs for wearable sensing,energy-storage,and energy-harvesting applications.

Increasing risks of incidental and occupational exposures to two-dimensional transition metal dichalcogenides(2D TMDCs)due to their broad application in various areas raised their public health concerns.While the composition-dependent cytotoxicity of 2D TMDCs has been well-recognized,how the outer chalcogenide atoms and inner transition metal atoms differentially contribute to their perturbation on cell homeostasis at non-lethal doses remains to be identified.In the present work,we compared the autophagy induction and related mechanisms in response to WS_(2),NbS_(2),WSe_(2)and Nb Se_(2)nanosheets exposures in MH-S murine alveolar macrophages.All these 2D TMDCs had comparable physicochemical properties,overall cytotoxicity and capability in triggering autophagy in MH-S cells,but showed outer chalcogen-dependent subcellular localization and activation of autophagy pathways.Specifically,WS_(2)and NbS_(2)nanosheets adhered on the cell surface and internalized in the lysosomes,and triggered m TOR-dependent activation of autophagy.Meanwhile,WSe_(2)and Nb Se_(2)nanosheets had extensive distribution in cytoplasm of MH-S cells and induced autophagy in an m TOR-independent manner.Furthermore,the 2D TMDCs-induced perturbation on autophagy aggravated the cytotoxicity of respirable benzo[a]pyrene.These findings provide a deeper insight into the potential health risk of environmental 2D TMDCs from the perspective of homeostasis perturbation.

Protein homeostasis is the basis of normal life activities,and the proteasomefamily plays an extremely important function in this process.The proteasome 2os is a concentric circle structure with twoαrings and twoβrings overlapped.The proteasome 2os can perform both ATP-dependent and non-ATP-dependent ubiquitination proteasome degradation by binding to various subunits(such as 19S,11S,and 200 PA),which is performed by its active subunitβ1,β2,andβ5.The proteasome can degrade misfolded,excess proteins tomaintain homeostasis.At the same time,it can be utilized by tumors to degrade over-proliferate and unwanted proteins to support their growth.Proteasomes can affect the development of tumors from several aspects including tumor signaling pathways such as NF-kB and p53,cell cycle,immune regulation,and drug resistance.Proteasome-encoding genes have been found to be overexpressed in a variety of tumors,providing a potential novel target for cancer therapy.In addition,proteasome inhibitors such as bortezomib,carfilzomib,and ixazomib have been put into clinical application as the first-line treatment of multiple myeloma.More and more studies have shown that it also has different therapeutic effects in other tumors such as hepatocellular carcinoma,non-small cell lung cancer,glioblastoma,and neuroblastoma.However,proteasome inhibitors are not much effective due to their tolerance and singleness in other tumors.Therefore,further studies on their mechanisms of action and drug interactions are needed to investigate their therapeutic potential.
