Electron transport layer(ETL)is pivotal to charge carrier transport for PSCs to reach the Shockley-Queisser *** study provides a fundamental understanding of heterojunction electron transport layers(ETLs)at the atomic level for stable and efficient perovskite solar cells(PSCs).The bilayer structure of an ETL composed of SnO_(2) on TiO_(2) was examined,revealing a critical factor limiting its potential to obtain efficient *** of oxygen vacancies in the TiO_(2) underlayer via an annealing process is found to induce manipulated band offsets at the interface between the TiO_(2) and SnO_(2) ***-depth electronic investigations of the bilayer structure elucidate the importance of the electronic properties at the interface between the TiO_(2) and SnO_(2) *** apparent correlation in hysteresis phenomena,including current density-voltage(J-V)curves,appears as a function of the type of band *** functional theory calculations reveal the intimate relationship between oxygen vacancies,deep trap states,and charge transport efficiency at the interface between the TiO_(2) and SnO_(2) *** formation of cascade band alignment via control over the TiO_(2) underlayer enhances device performance and suppresses *** performance exhibits a power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 23.45%with an open-circuit voltage(V_(oc))of 1.184 V,showing better device stability under maximum power point tracking compared with a staggered bilayer under one-sun continuous illumination.

All-solid-state batteries（ASSBs） are pursued due to their potential for better safety and high energy density. However, the energy density of the cathode for ASSBs does not seem to be satisfactory due to the low utilization of active materials（AMs） at high loading. With small amount of solid electrolyte（SE） powder in the cathode, poor electrochemical performance is often observed due to contact loss and non-homogeneous distribution of AMs and SEs, leading to high tortuosity and limitation of lithium and electron transport pathways. Here, we propose a novel cathode design that can achieve high volumetric energy density of 1258 Wh L-1at high AM content of 85 wt% by synergizing the merits of AM@SE core–shell composite particles with conformally coated thin SE shell prepared from mechanofusion process and small SE particles. The core–shell structure with an intimate and thin SE shell guarantees high ionic conduction pathway while unharming the electronic conduction. In addition, small SE particles play the role of a filler that reduces the packing porosity in the cathode composite electrode as well as between the cathode and the SE separator layer. The systematic demonstration of the optimization process may provide understanding and guidance on the design of electrodes for ASSBs with high electrode density, capacity, and ultimately energy density.

Beyond the Voices We Hear:Diversified Focalization Modes in the Yueyue Xiaoshuo Short Stories,1906-9

The last two decades have revealed new significance in the late Qing fiction in the transformation of Chinese literature,which has convincingly challenged the long-held discourse that a group of writers associated with the May Fourth New Literature Movement in the late 1910s fundamentally broke with the literary tradition and became the forerunners of modern Chinese *** article studies the short stories published in the popular literary magazine Yueyue xiaoshuo(also known as All-Story Monthly,1906-9)and finds out that the narrative approaches adopted in the short stories are diverse and experimental,breaking from the preceding *** examining the narrative approaches in the short stories,this paper focuses on the aspect of *** the idea of focalization mode as an observatory point is particularly useful for discussing short stories in All-Story Monthly,because the diversified and flexible arrangement of observatory positions and the selection of the narrative information(such as a character’s appearance,action,and speech)to be presented are exactly crucial aspects in which the short stories display marked innovation or modification of the traditional narrative modes.

Remote Navigation of Turtle by Controlling Instinct Behavior via Human Brain-computer Interface

Brain-Computer Interface （BCI） techniques have advanced to a level where it is now eliminating the need lor hand-based activation. This paper presents a novel attempt to remotely control an animal＇s behavior by human BCI using a hybrid of Event Related Desynchronization （ERD） and Steady-State Visually Evoked Potential （SSVEP） BCI protocols. The turtle was chosen as the target animal, and we developed a head-mounted display, wireless communication, and a specially designed stimulation device for the turtle. These devices could evoke the turtle＇s instinctive escape behavior to guide its moving path, and turtles were remotely controlled in both indoor and outdoor environments. The system architecture and design were presented. To demon- strate the feasibility of the system, experimental tests were performed under various conditions. Our system could act as a framework for future human-animal interaction systems.

The difference of morphological characteristics and population structure in PAO and DPAO granular sludges

We examined how long-term operation of anaerobic–oxic and anaerobic–anoxic sequencing batch reactors(SBRs) affects the enhanced biological phosphorus removal(EBPR)performance and sludge characteristics. The microbial characteristics of phosphorus accumulating organism(PAO) and denitrifying PAO(DPAO) sludge were also analyzed through a quantitative analysis of microbial community structure. Compared with the initial stage of operation characterized by unstable EBPR, both PAO and DPAO SBR produced a stable EBPR performance after about 100-day operation. From day 200 days(DPAO SBR)and 250 days(PAO SBR) onward, sludge granulation was observed, and the average granule size of DPAO SBR was approximately 5 times larger than that of PAO SBR. The DPAO granular sludge contained mainly rod-type microbes, whereas the PAO granular sludge contained coccus-type microbes. Fluorescence in situ hybridization analysis revealed that a high ratio of Accumulibacter clade I was found only in DPAO SBR, revealing the important role of this organism in the denitrifying EBPR system. A pyrosequencing analysis showed that Accumulibacter phosphatis was present in PAO sludge at a high proportion of 6%,whereas it rarely observed in DPAO sludge. Dechloromonas was observed in both PAO sludge(3.3%) and DPAO sludge(3.2%), confirming that this organism can use both O_2 and NO_3^- as electron acceptors. Further, Thauera spp. was identified to have a new possibility as denitrifier capable of phosphorous uptake under anoxic condition.

BACKGROUND In trauma patients,bleeding is an immediate major *** the same time,there are few cases of acute vascular occlusion after blunt trauma,and it is unclear what assessment and diagnosis should be considered for these ***,we describe a patient diagnosed with antiphospholipid syndrome after a hypercoagulable workup for acute renal and splenic vascular occlusion due to blunt *** SUMMARY A 20-year-old man was admitted to the emergency department with abdominal pain after hitting a tree while riding a sled 10 h *** had no medical *** investigations revealed occlusion of the left renal artery with global infarction of the left kidney and occlusion of branches of the splenic artery with infarction of the central portion of the *** revascularization of the left renal artery occlusion through percutaneous transluminal angioplasty failed due to difficulty in passing the wire through the total *** the presence of acute multivascular occlusions in a young man with low cardiovascular risk,additional laboratory tests were performed to evaluate *** results suggested a high possibility of antiphospholipid *** with a subcutaneous injection of enoxaparin was started and changed to oral warfarin after two *** diagnosis was confirmed,and he continued to visit the rheumatology outpatient clinic while taking *** A hypercoagulable workup can be considered in trauma patients with acute multivascular occlusion,especially in young patients with low cardiovascular risk.

Mg alloys have been widely used in automobile and electronic industries because of high specific strength, good castability, etc. However, molten Mg alloys will burn rapidly in air if not protected. To solve this problem, the molten metal should be protected from oxidation by blanketing the surface with flux or protective gases. SF6 gas is widely used for Mg alloys as a cover gas and has proved to be a successful inhibitor. However, the use of SF6 gas is limited because of its high cost and its significant impact on non-global warming potential. Therefore, SF6 gas is being replaced by alternative protection gases. Recent studies show that there has been another attempt by adding CaO into Mg alloys. The aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of CaO on the minimum amount of protective gas, which is necessary not to make ignition in the molten AZ31 and AZ91 Mg alloys.

Efficient Computation Offloading in Mobile Cloud Computing for Video Streaming Over 5G

In this paper,we investigate video quality enhancement using computation offloading to the mobile cloud computing(MCC)*** objective is to reduce the computational complexity required to covert a low-resolution video to high-resolution video while minimizing computation at the mobile client and additional communication *** do so,we propose an energy-efficient computation offloading framework for video streaming services in a MCC over the fifth generation(5G)cellular *** the proposed framework,the mobile client offloads the computational burden for the video enhancement to the cloud,which renders the side information needed to enhance video without requiring much computation by the *** cloud detects edges from the upsampled ultra-high-resolution video(UHD)and then compresses and transmits them as side information with the original low-resolution video(e.g.,full HD).Finally,the mobile client decodes the received content and integrates the SI and original content,which produces a high-quality *** our extensive simulation experiments,we observed that the amount of computation needed to construct a UHD video in the client is 50%-60% lower than that required to decode UHD video compressed by legacy video encoding ***,the bandwidth required to transmit a full HD video and its side information is around 70% lower than that required for a normal UHD *** subjective quality of the enhanced UHD is similar to that of the original UHD video even though the client pays lower communication costs with reduced computing power.
