Fail-safe topology optimization of continuum structures with fundamental frequency constraints based on the ICM method

It is an important topic to improve the redundancy of optimized configuration to resist the local failure in topology optimization of continuum *** a fail-safe topology optimization problem has been solved effectively in the ficld of *** this paper,the fail-safe topology optimization problem is extended to the field of frequency topology *** on the independent continuous mapping(ICM)method,the model of fail-safe topology optimization is established with the objective of minimal weight integrating with the discrete condition of topological variables and the constraint of the fundamental *** fail-safe optimization model established above is substituted by a sequence of subproblems in the form of the quadratic program with exact second-order information and solved efficiently by the dual sequence quadratic programming(DSQP)*** numerical result reveals that the optimized fail-safe structure has more complex configuration and preserved materials than the structure obtained from the traditional frequency topology optimization,which means that the optimized fail-safe structure has higher ***,the optimized fail-safe structure guarantees that the natural frequency meets the constraint of fundamental frequency when the local failure ocurs,which can avoid the structural frequency to be sensitive to local *** fail-safe optimirzation topology model is proved effective and feasible by four numerical examples.

Assessment of bacterial biomass in the highly contaminated urban Nanming River,Guiyang,SW China

High anthropogenic N loads and abundant bacteria are characteristic of highly contaminated urban *** better understand the dispersal and accumulation of bacteria, we determined contents and isotopic compositions of suspended particulate organic matter(SPOM) and bacteria in a highly contaminated urban river(the Nanming)and effluents in winter and summer of 2013. Relative to SPOM, bacterial biomass in the river was depleted in ^(13)C and ^(15)N and its C/N ratio was lower(δ^(13)C:-33.2% ± 3.1%; δ^(15)N:-1.5% ± 1.2%; C/N:4.8 ± 0.6), while effluents showed higher ^(13)C and ^(15)N contents and C/N ratios(δ^(13)C:-25% ± 2.1%; δ ^(15)N:-8.5% ± 1.1%; C/N: 8.1 ± 1.2). Source recognition of SPOM was based on carbon isotopes because they are conservative and distinct between end-members(effluent detritus and bacterial biomass). Using a mixing model,bacterial biomass in the river was calculated to account for <20% and <56% of bulk suspended particulate organic nitrogen in winter and summer, respectively. An N budget showed that bacterial N was a small proportion of total nitrogen(<7.4%) in the riverwater.

The Survey of Cronobacter spp.(formerly Enterbacter sakazakii) in Infant and Follow-up Powdered Formula in China in 2012

Objective To determine Cronobacter spp. contamination in infant and follow-up powdered formula in China. Methods All of 2282 samples were collected from the retail markets in China from January 2012 to December 2012, and analyzed for Cronobacter spp. by the Chinese National Food Safety Standard. Characterization of the isolates was analyzed by pulsed-field gel electrophoresis（PFGE） with XbaI and Spe I restriction enzymes. Results Cronobacter spp. strains were isolated from 25 samples, and the positive rates in infant powdered formulas and follow-up powdered formulas were 0.90%（10/1011） and 1.18%（15/1271）, respectively. Analysis of variable data regarding different purchasing store formats, seasonality, and production locations as well as comparison of infant versus follow-up formulas did not reveal statistically significant factors. During the sampling period, one of six surveillance zones did exhibit a statistically significant trend towards higher positive rate. PFGE characterization of Cronobacter spp. to elucidate genetic diversity revealed only three pairs of Cronobacter spp. out of 25 having the same PFGE patterns. Conclusion The current investigation indicated a lower positive rate of Cronobacter spp. in the powdered formula in China. This evidence suggested contamination originating from multiple different sources during the manufacturing process.

Microstructural evolution and mechanical properties of Ni-45Ti-5Al-2Nb-1Mo alloy subjected to different heat treatments

The effects of solution and aging heat treatment on microstructural evolution and room temperature tensile properties for as-forged Ni-45Ti-5Al-2Nb-1Mo alloy were investigated through scanning electron microscopy(SEM),transmission electron microscopy(TEM)and tensile *** results show that the microstructure of solution-treated alloy comprises NiTi matrix,Ti_(2)Ni and(Nb,Ti)ss *** aging treatment at 700℃for 6 and100 h,the distribution of Ti_(2)Ni and(Nb,Ti)ss precipitates increases in *** new type of precipitate is observed in the specimen aged at 700℃.After aging at800℃for 100 h,numerous nanosized Ni_(2)TiAl phases are precipitated within the *** and aging treatments improve the tensile properties at room *** strength and ductility are improved after solution treatment at 1100℃plus aging treatment at 800℃for 6 h or 700℃for 100 *** aging time prolonging to 100 h at 800℃,the precipitation of fine Ni2TiAl particles leads to the improvement in tensile strength and deterioration of elongation.

BACKGROUND： Tongxinluo has been clinically proven to be effective in improving memory and cognitive function in patients with post-stroke vascular dementia. Is the mechanism related to the deposition of beta-amyloid peptide （A β ） in hippocampus？ OBJECTIVE： To observe the effect of Tongxinluo on cognitive impairment in a mouse model with vascular dementia and the changes of A β deposition and β -secretase 1 （BACE1） expression. DESIGN： Randomized controlled study. SETTING： State Key Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology of Nanjing University and Affiliated Drum Tower Hospital of Nanjing University Medical School. MATERIALS： The experiment was carried out in the State Key Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology of Nanjing University and Affiliated Drum Tower Hospital of Nanjing University Medical School from March 2006 to January 2007. A total of 36 healthy Kunming mice, 18 of each gender, were chosen. The study was conducted in accordance with the National Regulations of Experimental Animal Administration, and all animal experiments were approved by the Committee of Experimental Animal Administration of Nanjing University. Tongxinluo was provided by Shijiazhuang Yiling Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. METHODS： All mice were randomly divided into 6 groups, including naive control （n=6）, sham-operated control （n=6） and experimental groups treated with different doses of Tongxinluo （0.2, 0.4, and 0.6 g/kg/d; n=6 for each group） or vehicle （n=6）. Five groups were subjected to bilateral common carotid arteries （2-VO） occlusion to produce a vascular dementia model （no occlusion was performed in sham-operated group）. The mice in the Tongxinluo treatment groups were intragastricly administered daily with a Tongxinluo suspension （40 g/L in distilled water） at doses of 0.2, 0.4 or 0.6 g/kg/d from day 1 to day 30 post-surgery. Fabrication and Statics Performance of Pyramidal Lattice Stitched Foam Sandwich Composites

In this study,the pyramidal lattice stitched foam sandwich composite materials were manufactured by integrating top and bottom panels with pyramidal lattice core to overcome the weak interface between the core and the skins of the sandwich *** influence of the reinforcing core rods on the mechanical properties including compressive,shear,and three-point bending performances of the foam sandwich compositematerialswere revealed through theoretical analysis and comparative *** theoretical predictions were consistent with the experimental *** test,shear test and three-point bending test were *** experimental results show that the core rods can significantly improve the compressive performance and energy absorption efficiency of the pyramidal lattice stitched foam sandwich *** effect is related to the diameter of the core *** core rod with large diameter has better *** with the foamsandwich structure,the pyramidal lattice reinforcing foam composites have stronger shear and bending *** failure modes and failure mechanisms of the pyramidal lattice stitched foam sandwich structure under the shear load are *** failure modes and failure mechanisms of the pyramidal lattice stitched foam sandwich structure under the three-point bending load are also *** study concludes that compared with the foam sandwich structure,the overall mechanical properties of the lattice stitched foam sandwich structure composites are significantly improved.

Establishment of a Rat Model of Capillary Leakage Syndrome Induced by Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation After Cardiac Arrest

Objective:Cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR)after cardiac arrest(CA)is one of the main causes of capillary leakage syndrome(CLS).This study aimed to establish a stable CLS model following the CA and cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CA-CPR)model in Sprague-Dawley(SD)***:We conducted a prospective,randomized,animal model *** adult male SD rats were randomly divided into a normal group(group N),a sham operation group(group S),and a cardiopulmonary resuscitation group(group T).The SD rats of the three groups were all inserted with 24-G needles through their left femoral arteries and right femoral *** group S and group T,the endotracheal tube was *** group T,CA induced by asphyxia(AACA)was caused by vecuronium bromide with the endotracheal tube obstructed for 8 min,and the rats were resuscitated with manual chest compression and mechanical *** and postresuscitation measurements,including basic vital signs(BVS),blood gas analysis(BG),routine complete blood count(CBC),wet-to-dry ratio of tissues(W/D),and the HE staining results after 6 h were ***:In group T,the success rate of the CA-CPR model was 60%(18/30),and CLS occurred in 26.6%(8/30)of the *** were no significant differences in the baseline characteristics,including BVS,BG,and CBC,among the three groups(P>0.05).Compared with pre-asphyxia,there were significant differences in BVS,CBC,and BG,including temperature,oxygen saturation(SpO_(2)),mean arterial pressure(MAP),central venous pressure(CVP),white blood cell count(WBC),hemoglobin,hematocrit,pH,pCO_(2),pO_(2),SO_(2),lactate(Lac),base excess(BE),and Na+(P<0.05)after the return of spontaneous circulation(ROSC)in group *** 6 h after ROSC in group T and at 6 h after surgery in groups N and S,there were significant differences in temperature,heart rate(HR),respiratory rate(RR),SpO_(2),MAP,CVP,WBC,pH,pCO_(2),Na+,and K+among the three groups(P<0.05).Compared with the other two groups,the rats in group

Analysis of the incidence and influencing factors of hyponatremia before ^(131)I treatment of differentiated thyroid carcinoma
