3D Printing of Tough Hydrogel Scaffolds with Functional Surface Structures for Tissue Regeneration

Hydrogel scaffolds have numerous potential applications in the tissue engineering ***,tough hydrogel scaffolds implanted in vivo are seldom reported because it is difficult to balance biocompatibility and high mechanical *** by chinese ramen,we propose a universal fabricating method(printing-P,training-T,cross-linking-c,PTc&PcT)for tough hydrogel scaffolds to fill this ***,3D printing fabricates a hydrogel scaffold with desired structures(P).Then,the scaffold could have extraordinarily high mechanical properties and functional surface structure by cycle mechanical training with salting-out assistance(T).Finally,the training results are fixed by photo-cross-linking processing(c).The tough gelatin hydrogel scaffolds exhibit excellent tensile strength of 6.66 MPa(622-fold untreated)and have excellent ***,this scaffold possesses functional surface structures from nanometer to micron to millimeter,which can effic.ently induce directional cell ***,this strategy can produce bionic human tissue with mechanical properties of 10 kPa-10 MPa by changing the type of salt,and many hydrogels,such as gelatin and silk,could be improved with PTc or PcT *** experiments show that this scaffold can effectively promote the new generation of muscle fibers,blood vessels,and nerves within 4 weeks,prompting the rapid regeneration of large-volume muscle loss injuries.

Optimized air-ground data fusion method for mine slope modeling

Refined 3D modeling of mine slopes is pivotal for precise prediction of geological *** at the inadequacy of existing single modeling methods in comprehensively representing the overall and localized characteristics of mining slopes,this study introduces a new method that fuses model data from Unmanned aerial vehicles(UAV)tilt photogrammetry and 3D laser scanning through a data alignment algorithm based on control ***,the mini batch K-Medoids algorithm is utilized to cluster the point cloud data from ground 3D laser ***,the elbow rule is applied to determine the optimal cluster number(K0),and the feature points are ***,the nearest neighbor point algorithm is employed to match the feature points obtained from UAV tilt photogrammetry,and the internal point coordinates are adjusted through the distanceweighted average to construct a 3D ***,by integrating an engineering case study,the K0 value is determined to be 8,with a matching accuracy between the two model datasets ranging from 0.0669 to 1.0373 ***,compared with the modeling method utilizing K-medoids clustering algorithm,the new modeling method significantly enhances the computational effic.ency,the accuracy of selecting the optimal number of feature points in 3D laser scanning,and the precision of the 3D model derived from UAV tilt *** method provides a research foundation for constructing mine slope model.

Variation in Polymerization Degree of c-A-S-H Gels and Its Role in Strength Development of Alkali-activated Slag Binders

To investigate the variation in the degree of polymerization calcium aluminium silicate hydrate(c-A-S-H)gel and its role in the evolution of the strength of waterglass slag binders,the compressive strength,hydration products,degree of hydration of the slag,and the degree of polymerization of c-A-S-H gels of binders were *** experimental results indicate that the pH of the pore solution increased with an increase in the Na_(2)O ***,mortar with an optimum compressive strength value of 81.0 MPa at 28 d was obtained when water glass modulus was *** main hydration product is a c-A-S-H gel for which the quantity and the degree of polymerization depend strongly on the Na_(2)O concentration;for a given range,both increase with increasing Na_(2)O concentration,thus yielding an enhanced strength.A further increase in the Na_(2)O concentration continuously increases the quantity of c-A-S-H gels while drastically reducing the degree of *** positive effect of the former is counteracted by the adverse effect of the latter,ultimately,leading to a decreased ***,we reveal that the degree of polymerization for c-A-S-H gels may be affected by pH,through a series of complex chemical reactions.

Species and genetic diversity affect leaf litter decomposition in subtropical broadleaved forest in southern china

Aims Litter decomposition is a fundamental process within ecosystem functioning,and it is largely dependent on the biodiversity of *** explored the effects of species diversity and genetic diversity of litter on the litter decomposition *** We used laboratory microcosms to determine whether species diversity and genetic diversity and their interaction affect leaf litter *** set up 8 treatments containing 1,2,4 diversity levels of four broad-leaf species(Alniphyllum fortunei,Idesia polycarpa,cinnamomum camphora and Daphniphyllum oldhamii)both in species and genetic *** 246 microcosms containing same amount of soil and litter of prescribed diversity treatment were stored in the dark at 25℃for 12 *** Findings The effect of litter species diversity on litter decomposition was largely dependent on species composition of the litter mixture in terms of species ***,the decomposition rate increased linearly with the richness of seed family when the species identity was ***,no interactive effect of species diversity and genetic diversity on mass loss was *** litter decomposition rate was found to be unrelated to the initial carbon(c),whereas it was negatively correlated with the initial total nitrogen(N)and N:P ***,the regression curves of the litter decomposition rate against the total P and c:N ratio displayed quadratic parabolas opening upward and downward,*** study demonstrated how species and/or genetic diversity and the stoichiometry of litter per se affect litter *** studies should be performed in the long term to ascertain how such effects operate and how they change during the decomposition process,particularly in response to varying composition and diversity of standing plants in the environments.

Yonarolide A, an unprecedented furanobutenolide-containing norcembranoid derivative formed by photoinduced intramolecular[2+2] cycloaddition

Eight polycyclic furanobutenolide-containing norcembrane diterpenoids featuring c19 frameworks(1–8)were rapidly recognized and isolated from the Hainan soft coral Sinularia sp. by the HSQc-based small molecule accurate recognition technology. Yonarolide A(1a), featuring an unprecedented 5/6/4/4/7 pentacyclic ring skeleton, was surprisingly obtained as a transformed product by leaving compound 1 under indoor natural light, and was further proved to be a [2 + 2] cycloaddition product of 1 by photochemical reaction. The absolute stereochemistry of 1a and the three known norcembrane diterpenoids 1, 4, and7 were determined by using X-ray diffraction(XRD) analyses. Further, with the aid of XRD analysis, the structure of scabrolide B(2), which was previously reported of possessing 5/6/7 tricyclic skeleton, was firmly revised as 2a with the rare inelegane skeleton featured by the highly oxygenated 5/7/6 tricyclic carbocycle.

Flexible hafnia-based ferroelectric memories are arousing much interest with the ever-growing demands for nonvolatile data storage in wearable electronic ***,high-quality flexible Hf_(0.5)Zr_(0.5)O_(2)membranes with robust ferroelectricity were fabricated on inorganic pliable mica substrates via an atomic layer deposition *** flexible Hf_(0.5)Zr_(0.5)O_(2) thin membranes with a thickness of∼8 nm exhibit a high remanent polarization of∼16μc/cm^(2),which possess very robust polarization switching endurance(>10^(10) cycles,two orders of magnitude better than reported flexible HfO_(2)-based films)and superior retention ability(expected>10 years).In particular,stable ferroelectric polarization as well as excellent endurance and retention performance show negligible degradations under 6 mm radius bending conditions or after 10^(4) bending cycles with a 6 mm bending *** results mark a crucial step in the development of flexible hafnium oxide-based ferroelectric memories for wearable electronic devices.

Occurrence and risk assessment of triclosan in freshwater lakes in the middle Yangtze River basin (Wuhan, central china)

Triclosan(TcS)is an endocrine disrupting chemical which is commonly used as a disinfectant in pharmaceuticals and personal care products(PPcP's).Since early 2020,the worldwide outbreak of cOVID-19 has increased the use of PPcP's,so the occurrence and impact of TcS on freshwater lakes should be ***,little attention has been given to the effect of TcS on freshwater lakes in *** study is the first attempt at a risk assessment focusing on the temporal and spatial occurrence of TcS in freshwater lakes in the middle Yangtze River *** surface water and sediments of Donghu Lake and Liangzi Lake(Wuhan,central china)were collected from October 2020 to August *** maximum concentrations of TcS were 466 ng/L and 239 ng/L in surface water,71 ng/g and 25 ng/g(dry weight)in sediments of Donghu Lake and Liangzi Lake,*** temporal and spatial differences of TcS were observed within and between the lakes,with the highest concentrations measured in ***,higher concentrations of TcS were observed in areas that are more impacted by human *** was a significant positive correlation between TcS and nitrogen in the surface water.A risk assessment using the risk quotient(RQ)method showed that a potentially high risk(RQ>1)was found only in surface waters from Donghu Lake,and that the sediments posed a lower risk than the surface *** results provide timely data on the temporal and spatial occurrence of TcS in freshwater lakes in china following the outbreak of cOVID-19 and demonstrate a possible high risk of exposure to TcS for aquatic biota.

chromopeptide A, a highly cytotoxic depsipeptide from the marine sediment-derived bacterium chromobacterium sp. HS-13-94

A bicyclic depsipeptide, chromopeptide A(1), was isolated from a deep-sea-derived bacterium chromobacterium sp. HS-13-94. Its structure was determined by extensive spectroscopic analysis and by comparison with a related known compound. The absolute configuration of chromopeptide A was established by X-ray diffraction analysis employing graphite monochromated Mo K_α radiation(λ ? 0.71073 ?) with small Flack parameter 0.03. chromopeptide A suppressed the proliferation of HL-60, K-562, and Ramos cells with average Ic_(50) values of 7.7, 7.0, and 16.5 nmol/L, respectively.

High precision neuromodulation is a powerful tool to decipher neurocircuits and treat neurological *** non-invasive neuromodulation methods offer limited precision at the milimeter ***,we report opticallygenerated focused ultrasound(OFUS)for non-invasive brain stimulation with ultrahigh *** is generated by a soft optoacoustic pad(SOAP)fabricated through embedding candle soot nanoparticles in a curved polydimethylsiloxane *** generates a transcranial ultrasound focus at 15 MHz with an ultrahigh lateral resolution of 83μm,which is two orders of magnitude smaller than that of conventional transcranial-focused ultrasound(tFUS).Here,we show effective OFUS neurostimulation in vitro with a single ultrasound *** demonstrate submillimeter transcranial stimulation of the mouse motor cortex in *** acoustic.energy of 0.6 mJ/cm?,four orders of magnitude less than that of tFUS,is suffc.ent for successful OFUS *** offers new capabilities for neurosc.ence studies and disease treatments by delivering a focus with ultrahigh precision noninvasively.

Neutron halo state of ^(13)c

Angular distributions for the 12c(d, p)13c transfer reactions have been measured at Ed = 11.8 MeV, and compared with those of the DWBA calculations. By means of this comparison, density distributions of the last neutron in the ground state and the first 1/2+ state of 13c are extracted. The properties of these states in 13c have also been studied in the framework of the nonlinear relativistic mean-field theory with NL-SH parameters. It is found that the first l/2+ state in 13c is a neutron halo state shown by both the experimental and theoretical density distributions of the last neutron.
