Constructing a functional hybrid coating appears to be a promising strategy for addressing the poor corrosion resistance and insufficient endothelialization of Mg-based ***,the steps for preparing composite coatings are usually complicated and ***,a novel composite coating,composed of bioactive magnesium thioctic acid(MTA)layer formed by deposition and corrosion-resistant magnesium hydroxide(Mg(OH)_(2))layer grown in situ,is simply fabricated on ZE21B alloys via one-step *** electron microscopy(SEM)shows that the electrodeposited coating has a compact and uniform *** the high adhesion of the MTA/Mg(OH)_(2)hybrid coating is also confirmed by the micro-scratch *** test,scanning kelvin probe(SKP),and hydrogen evolution measurement indicate that the hybrid coating effectively reduces the degradation rate of Mg *** experiment and cell culture trial detect that the composite coating is of fine ***,the preparation mechanism of MTA/Mg(OH)_(2)hybrid coatings is discussed and *** coating shows a great potential application for cardiovascular stents.

Solid-state batteries with solid polymer electrolytes are considered the most promising due to their high energy density and safety ***,their development is hindered by the limitations of polymer electrolytes,such as low ionic conductivity,poor mechanical strength and inadequate fire *** study presents a thin polyvinylidene fluoride-based composite solid electrolyte film(25 μm incorporating twodimensional modified lipophilic lithium magnesium silicate（LLS） as additives with good *** incorporation of LLS promotes grain refinement in polyvinylidene fluoride（PVDF）,enhances the densification of electrolyte films,increases the tensile strength to10.42 MPa and the elongation to 251.58%,improves ion transport interfac e,and facilitates uniform deposition of lithium ***,LLS demonstrates strong adsorption ability,promoting the formation of solvated molecules,resulting in high ionic conductivity(2.07×10-4S·cm-1at 30℃) and a stable lithium/electrolyte *** Li//Li cells assembled with the thin composite electrolytes exhibit stable cycling for2000 h at 0.1 mA·cm-2and 0.05 mAh·***,the LiFePO4//Li battery shows a capacity retention rate of99.9% after 200 cycles at 0.5C and room temperature.

High qualityβ-Ga_(2)O_(3)single crystal nanobelts with length of 2−3 mm and width from tens of microns to 132μm were synthesized by carbothermal reduction *** on the grown nanobelt with the length of 600μm,the dual-Schottky-junctions coupling device(DSCD)was *** to the electrically floating Ga_(2)O_(3)nanobelt region coupling with the double Schottky-junctions,the current I_(S2)increases firstly and rapidly reaches into saturation as increase the voltage V_(S2).The saturation current is about 10 pA,which is two orders of magnitude lower than that of a single *** the case of solar-blind ultraviolet(UV)light irradiation,the photogenerated electrons further aggravate the coupling physical mechanism in device.I_(S2)increases as the intensity of UV light *** the UV light of 1820μW/cm^(2),I_(S2)quickly enters the saturation *** V_(S2)=10 V,photo-to-dark current ratio(PDCR)of the device reaches more than 104,the external quantum efficiency(EQE)is 1.6×10^(3)%,and the detectivity(D*)is 7.5×10^(12)*** addition,the device has a very short rise and decay times of 25−54 ms under different positive and negative *** shows unique electrical and optical control characteristics,which will open a new way for the application of nanobelt-based devices.

Aqueous Zn-ion batteries(AZIBs) have emerged as potential candidates for Li-ion batteries due to their intrinsic safety and high ***,metallic Zn anodes encounter dendrite growth and water-induced corrosion,rendering poor stability and severe irreversibility at the electrode/electrolyte interface during *** stabilize the Zn anode,we report a low-cost and effective nonionic surfactant,Tween-20 polymer,as an electrolyte additive for *** Tween-20,sequential oxyethylene groups tended to be preferentially adsorbed on the Zn electrode to form a shielding layer for regulating uniform Zn ***,the hydrophobic hendecyl chains prevented H_(2)O-induced corrosion on the Zn anode *** from the desired functional groups,when only trace amounts of Tween-20(0.050 g·L^(-1)) were used,the Zn anode displayed good cycling stability over 2170 h at10 mA·cm^(-2) and a high average Coulombic efficiency of98.94% over 1000 *** Tween-20 polymer can also be effectively employed in MnO_(2)/Zn full *** their toxicity,price and amount of usage,these surfactant additives provide a promising strategy for realizing the stability and reversibility of high-performance Zn anodes.

Mastitis affects almost all mammals including humans and dairy cows. In the dairy industry, bovine mastitis is a disease with a persistently high incidence, causing serious losses to the health of cows, the quality of dairy products, and the economy of dairy farms. Although local udder infection caused by the invasion of exogenous pathogens into the mammary gland was considered the main cause of mastitis,evidence has been established and continues to grow, showing that nutrition factors and gastrointestinal microbiome(GM) as well as their metabolites are also involved in the development of mammary inflammatory response. Suboptimal nutrition is recognized as a risk factor for increased susceptibility to mastitis in cattle, in particular the negative energy balance. The majority of data regarding nutrition and bovine mastitis involves micronutrients. In addition, the dysbiotic GM can directly trigger or aggravate mastitis through entero-mammary gland pathway. The decreased beneficial commensal bacteria, lowered bacterial diversity, and increased pathogens as well as proinflammatory metabolites are found in both the milk and gastrointestinal tract of mastitic dairy cows. This review discussed the relationship between the nutrition(energy and micronutrient levels) and mastitis, summarized the role of GM and metabolites in regulating mastitis. Meanwhile, several non-antibiotics strategies were provided for the prevention and alleviation of mastitis, including micronutrients, probiotics, short-chain fatty acids, highfiber diet, inulin, and aryl hydrocarbon receptor.

To realize large-scale hydrogen production by electrolysis of water,it is essential to develop non-precious metal catalysts for oxygen evolution reaction(OER)and hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).Here,we fabricate Sn-,Fe-,and Co-based sulfide/oxyhydroxide heterostructural catalyst on nickel foam(FeSnCo_(0.2)S_(x)O_(y)/NF)by solvothermal *** FeSnCo_(0.2)S_(x)O_(y)/NF requires low overpotentials of 48 and 186 mV at 10 mA·cm^(-2),respectively,for HER and *** it is assembled into an electrolytic cell as a bifunctional electrocatalyst,it only needs 1.54 V to reach 10 mA·cm^(-2),far better than IrO_(2)||Pt/C *** formation of sulfide/hydroxide heterostructural interfaces improves the electron transfer and reduces the reaction energy barrier,thus promoting the electrocatalytic processes.

Waste polyolefin plastics, accounting for 50% of all plastic waste, represent a tremendously unexploited carbon source. Efficiently upcycling polyolefin waste into value-added carbon materials for waste water treatment avoiding using noble metals is challenging but economically and environmentally sustainable. In this work, MAX-Ti_(3)AlC_(2) supported Fe selectively catalyzes polyolefin into few-layered graphene in 5 min under microwave treatment. Graphene and MAX supported Fe(Fe@MLC) can completely(99.9%)degrade chloramphenicol(CAP) within 60 min, retain robust after 10 cycles and work efficiently at a wide p H range(3.87–13.03), avoiding the usage of noble metal. Moreover, the electrochemical active surface area(ECSA) of Fe@MLC is 2.7 times higher than that of commercial Pt/C. This work provides a cheap and efficient catalyst that promotes deconstruction of plastic wastes and indirectly degrades antibiotics thereby realizes the treatment of waste water with waste plastic.

Without intervention,a considerable proportion of patients with metabolism‐associated fatty liver disease(MAFLD)will progress from simple steatosis to metabolism‐associated steatohepatitis(MASH),liver fibrosis,and even hepatocellular ***,the molecular mechanisms that control progressive MAFLD have yet to be fully ***,we unraveled that the expression of the N6-methyladenosine(m6A)methyltransferase METTL14 is remarkably downregulated in the livers of both patients and several murine models of MAFLD,whereas hepatocyte-specific depletion of this methyltransferase aggravated lipid accumulation,liver injury,and ***,hepatic Mettl14 overexpression alleviated the above pathophysiological changes in mice fed on a high-fat diet(HFD).Notably,in vivo and in vitro mechanistic studies indicated that METTL14 downregulation decreased the level of GLS2 by affecting the translation efficiency mediated by YTHDF1 in an m6A-depedent manner,which might help to form an oxidative stress microenvironment and accordingly recruit Cx3cr1^(+)Ccr2^(+)monocyte-derived macrophages(Mo-macs).In detail,Cx3cr1^(+)Ccr2^(+)Mo-macs can be categorized into M1-like macrophages and S100A4-positive macrophages and then further activate hepatic stellate cells(HSCs)to promote liver *** experiments revealed that CX3CR1 can activate the transcription of S100A4 via CX3CR1/MyD88/NF-κB signaling pathway in Cx3cr1^(+)Ccr2^(+)*** of METTL14 or GLS2,or interfering with this signal transduction pathway such as inhibiting MyD88 could ameliorate liver injuries and *** together,these findings indicate potential therapies for the treatment of MAFLD progression.
