Rituximab Treatment Strategy for Patients with Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma after First-line Therapy： A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

Background： Rituximab in combination with cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, and prednisone （CHOP） significantly prolonged event-free survival in first-line chemotherapy for patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma （DLBCL）. But relapse and refractory DLBC L occur frequently. Although rituximab is effective, its role in salvage therapy after autologous transplant remains unclear. Maintenance therapy with rituximab in responding patients after first line chemotherapy may be a useful novel approach capable of eradicating minimal residual disease and to bring survival benefit. This systematic review and meta-analysis evaluated the effects of rituximab maintenance treatment and salvage therapy of patients with DLBCL. Methods： We performed a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials and compared rituximab maintenance or salvage therapy at relapse with observation. We searched the Cochrane library, PubMed, EMBASE, conference proceedings, databases of ongoing trials, and references of published trials. Two reviewers independently assessed the quality of the trials and extracted data. Hazard ratios for time-to-event data were estimated and pooled. Results： Seven trials including 1470 DLBCL patients were included in this systematic review and recta-analysis. Patients treated with maintenance rituximab have better overall survival （OS） and event-tree survival （EFS） than patients in the observation arm, but there was no statistical significance. Patients who received rituximab salvage therapy for relapse or refractory DLBCL have statistically significantly better OS [HR of death = 0.72, 95% CI （0.55-0.94）, P - 0.02], progression-free survival （PFS） [HR - 0.61,95% CI（0.52-0.72）, P 〈 0.05], odds ratio （OR） [RR = 1.26, 95% CI（1.07-1,47）, P = 0.004] than patients in the observation arm. 探究减氮及有机肥替代对旱地冬小麦产量形成和经济效益的影响,为实施化肥减量和有机肥替代提供理论和技术依据。2021-2023年度,基于2019年开始设置在黄土高原和黄淮海平原交汇处典型旱地冬小麦产区(河南洛宁和河南孟津)的定位试验,研究了冬小麦干物质积累转运分配特性、氮肥干物质生产效率、产量及其构成要素和经济效益。试验设置不施氮肥(NN)、农户施氮(FN)、基于FN减氮20%(RN)和RN基础上20%氮肥用有机肥替代(OSN)4个处理。结果表明:(1)与FN相比,RN处理降低了小麦拔节期、开花期和成熟期的干物质积累量、花前干物质转运量以及成熟期茎鞘、穂轴+颖壳和籽粒的干物质分配量,但对籽粒产量无显著影响。(2)与FN和RN相比, OSN处理提高了各生育阶段的氮肥干物质生产效率,从而增加了拔节期、开花期、成熟期的干物质积累量,而且提高了花前干物质转运量、花后干物质积累量、花后干物质积累量对籽粒的贡献率,进而使成熟期地上部各器官的干物质分配量均得到显著提高,最终使籽粒产量分别显著增加15.03%和17.12%,经济效益增加3.84%和4.23%。(3)小麦产量与花前干物质转运量、花后干物质积累量和花后干物质积累量对籽粒的贡献率呈极显著正相关,与花前干物质转运量对籽粒的贡献率呈极显著负相关。综上,在雨养条件下,小麦季施氮量为172kghm^(–2) (夏休闲-冬小麦)和192kg hm^(–2) (夏玉米-冬小麦)的基础上,OSN处理提高了氮肥干物质生产效率,增加各生育时期的干物质积累量,其花前干物质转运量和花后干物质积累量的协同增加使其获得了最高产量,实现增产增收,适宜在产量水平为5000kghm^(–2)的雨养旱地冬小麦高产栽培中应用。

Genotypic differences in callus induction and plant regeneration from mature embryos of barley(Hordeum vulgare L.)

3D-structured carbon nanotube fibers as ultra-robust fabrics for adaptive electromagnetic shielding

Wireless communication technology is indispensable in our daily lives,but it also results in serious electromagnetic radiation ***,developing smart electromagnetic interference shielding materials with adjustable electromagnetic wave(EMW)responses holds significant promise for future electromagnetic shielding *** this study,we propose an electromagnetic shielding switch(ESS)characterized by tunable electromagnetic shielding performance achieved by fabricating a three-dimensional(3D)carbon nanotube-based spacer fabric(CNT-SF)and modifying CNT-SF with chemical vapor deposition(CCNT-SF).The CCNT-SF displays direction-dependent electrical conductivity by manipulating the warp and weft density,measuring 128 S/m transversely and 447 S/m *** characteristic allows the CCNT-SF to transmit or shield EMW by adjusting the angle of EMW incidence through fabric rotation,resulting in anisotropic electromagnetic shielding performance(33 dB transversely and 87 dB vertically).This feature enables switchable shielding with an on/off ratio of ***,the unique 3D structure confers excellent mechanical properties on the fabric,with compressive strength reaching 120 *** a flexible,lightweight,and mechanically robust ESS,the CCNT-SF holds promising prospects for mitigating the challenges of increasingly severe and intricate electromagnetic environments.

Quantification of angiogenesis by CT perfusion imaging in liver tumor of rabbit

BACKGROUND:Tumor angiogenesis is essential for primary and metastatic tumor *** tomography perfusion(CTP)is a new imaging method,made possible by the recent development of fast CT scanners and improved data analysis techniques,which allows measurement of the physiologic and hemodynamic properties of tissue *** study aimed to evaluate CTP in the quantification of angiogenesis and to assess the relationship between tissue perfusion parameters and microvascular density(MVD)and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF),attempting to detect the physiologic properties of ***:Sixteen rabbits with VX2 liver tumors underwent multi-slice CT perfusion(MSCTP)on day 14 after tumor *** parameters included hepatic blood flow(HBF),hepatic blood volume(HBV),mean transit time(MTT),permeability of capillary vessel surface(PS),hepatic artery index(HAI),hepatic artery perfusion(HAP),and hepatic portal perfusion(HPP).The border of the tumor was stained with CD34 and VEGF immunohistochemical stains,and MVD was measured by ***,CTP parameters were determined whether they were correlated with MVD and VEGF using Pearson’s correlation ***:The positive expression of MVD was different in the center and border of the tumor(P0.05).CONCLUSIONS:Significant correlations were found between perfusion parameters and MVD and ***,MSCTP can be used to evaluate tumor angiogenesis in vivo.

A glycolysis-based ten-gene signature correlates with the clinical outcome, molecular subtype and IDH1 mutation in glioblastoma

Reprogrammed metabolism is a hallmark of cancer. Glioblastoma（GBM） tumor cells predominantly utilize aerobic glycolysis for the biogenesis of energy and intermediate nutrients. However, in GBM, the clinical significance of glycolysis and its underlying relations with the molecular features such as IDH1 mutation and subtype have not been elucidated yet. Herein, based on glioma datasets including TCGA（The Cancer Genome Atlas）, REMBRANDT（Repository for Molecular Brain Neoplasia Data） and GSE16011 we established a glycolytic gene expression signature score（GGESS） by incorporating ten glycolytic genes. Then we performed survival analyses and investigated the correlations between GGESS and IDH1 mutation as well as the molecular subtypes in GBMs. The results showed that GGESS independently predicted unfavorable prognosis and poor response to chemotherapy of GBM patients. Notably, GGESS was high in GBMs of mesenchymal subtype but low in IDH1-mutant GBMs. Furthermore, we found that the promoter regions of tumor-promoting glycolytic genes were hypermethylated in IDH1-mutant ***, we found that high GGESS also predicted poor prognosis and poor response to chemotherapy when investigating IDH1-wild type GBM patients only. Collectively, glycolysis represented by GGESS predicts unfavorable clinical outcome of GBM patients and is closely associated with mesenchymal subtype and IDH1 mutation in GBMs.
