Solid polymer electrolytes(SPEs)with high ionic conductivity are desirable for solid-state lithium metal batteries(SSLMBs)to achieve enhanced safety and energy *** nanofillers into a polymeric matrix to develop nanocomposite solid electrolytes(NCSEs)has become a promising method for improving the ionic conductivity of the ***,a novel ZIF-8-functionalized NCSE was prepared for high-temperature S SLMB s using an in situ radical polymerization *** is found that the ZIF-8 nanoparticles could reduce the crystallinity of polymer segments and offer a Lewis acid surface that promotes the dissociation of lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide(LiTFSI)and stabilizes the TFSI^(-) anion ***,the as-prepared NCSE exhibits an outstanding ionic conductivity of 1.63×10^(-3)S·cm^(-1),an electrochem ical stability window of 5.0 V at 80℃,and excellent interface compatibility with lithium metal anode with a stable polarization over 2000 ***,the assembled SSLMBs with LiFePO_(4)cathode show dendrite-free Li-metal surface,good rate capability,and stable cycling stability with a capacity retention of 70%over 1000 cycles at a high temperature of 80℃.This work provides valuable insights into promoting the ionic conductivity of SPEs.

Accurate measurements of the radon exhalation rate help identify and evaluate radon risk regions in the *** these measurement methods,the closed-loop method is frequently ***,traditional experiments are insufficient or cannot analyze the radon migration and exhalation patterns at the gas–solid interface in the accumulation *** CFD-based technique was applied to predict the radon concentration distribution in a limited space,allowing radon accumulation and exhalation inside the chamber intuitively and *** this study,three radon exhalation rates were defined,and two structural ventilation tubes were designed for the *** consistency of the simulated results with the variation in the radon exhalation rate in a previous experiment or analytical solution was *** effects of the vent tube structure and flow rate on the radon uniformity in the chamber;permeability,insertion depth,and flow rate on the radon exhalation rate and the effective diffusion coefficient on back-diffusion were *** on the results,increasing the inser-tion depth from 1 to 5 cm decreased the effective decay constant by 19.55%,whereas the curve-fitted radon exhalation rate decreased(lower than the initial value)as the deviation from the initial value increased by approximately 7%.Increasing the effective diffusion coefficient from 2.77×10^(-7) to 7.77×10^(-6) m^(2) s^(-1) made the deviation expand from 2.14 to 15.96%.The conclusion is that an increased insertion depth helps reduce leakage in the chamber,subject to notable back-diffusion,and that the closed-loop method is reasonably used for porous media with a low effective diffusion coefficient in view of the back-diffusion *** CFD-based simulation is expected to provide guidance for the optimization of the radon exhalation rate measurement method and,thus,the accurate measurement of the radon exhalation rate.

BACKGROUND Heart failure(HF),a common cardiovascular condition,is characterized by significant morbidity and *** traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)is often used as a complementary approach in HF management,systematic evalua-tions of its impact on clinical outcomes,TCM syndrome scores,and B-type natriuretic peptide(BNP)levels are *** study fills this gap through a comprehensive analysis of randomized controlled trials(RCTs)focusing on TCM for HF *** encompasses an assessment of methodological quality,a meta-analysis,and an evaluation of evidence quality based on established *** results offer crucial insights into the potential advantages and constraints of TCM in HF *** on TCM for HF treatment published since the establishment of the database were searched in four Chinese and English databases,including China National Knowledge Infrastructure,Wanfang,VIP Information Chinese Science and Technology Journal,and *** quality was assessed for the included studies with the Cochrane risk-of-bias assessment tool,and the meta-analysis and publication bias assessment was performed with the RevMan5.3 ***,the quality of evidence was rated according to the GRADE *** A total of 1098 RCTs were initially *** screening,16 RCTs were finally included in our study,which were published between 2020 and *** RCTs involved 1660 HF patients,including 832 in the TCM group[TCM combined with conventional Western medicine(CMW)treatment]and 828 in the CWM group(CWM treatment).The course of treatments varied from 1 wk to 3 *** syndrome differentiation was analyzed in 11 of the included *** all included RCTs,outcome indicators included comprehensive clinical outcomes,TCM syndrome scores,and BNP *** meta-analysis results showed significant differences between the TCM and CWM groups in terms of comprehensive clinical outcomes[risk ratio=-0.54;95%confidence interval(CI)=-0

Direct CO_(2)hydrogenation offers an important strategy for promoting the global carbon balance,but high thermodynamic and kinetic stability of CO_(2)has restricted its applicability to only a handful of industrial ***,we introduce a proof-of-concept application of the electron-rich Pt surface to promote hydrogen donation for electron-rich MoC particles acting as hydrogen acceptors,thereby constructing hydrogen-rich surface of MoC active ***,the formed hydrogen-rich and electronrich surface could greatly decrease reaction activation energy to boost the efficient CO_(2)hydrogenation into formic acid over the MoC *** optimized MoC@NC/Pt-0.1(NC:nitrogen-doped carbon)catalyst exhibits a high turnover frequency(TOF)value of 1.2 h^(−1) at a lower temperature of 60℃and a TOF of 24.2 h^(−1) under standard reaction conditions widely used in the literature,exceeding 7 times of MoC@NC catalyst and surpassing the benchmark classical non-noble metal active center-based heterogeneous catalyst.
