＜正＞ The results are reported of High Pressure - High Temperature （HPHT） treatment experiments for natural diamonds of different origin and with different impurity content. Diamonds are annealed in a temperature range up to 2100℃ at stabilizing pressures up to 70 000 atmospheres. The evolution is studied, as a function of temperature, pressure and time, of different impurities in the diamond crystal lattice. The most common impurities in diamond are subtitutional nitrogen atoms. These can be present in isolated form, or in aggregates of two, three, four and more atoms, very often in combination with vacancies. According to the dominant nitrogen aggregate impurity type, diamonds are classified in categories such as type laA, type laB, type laAB, type Ib and type Ha. It is found that the results of the HPHT treatment depend strongly on the diamond type. Moreover it turns out that the presence of additional impurities, mainly related to lattice distortion, can lead to totally different results. The diamonds are characterized using UV-Visible spectrophotometry, Fourier Transform Infrared （FTIR） spectrophotometry and photoluminescence spectrometry, at room temperature as well as at cryogenic temperature. Characteristic optical centers of known composition are studied, such as e.g. n3, H2, H3 and H4. Moreover the spectra show a number of peaks of which the nature is not known. High Pressure - High Temperature treatments of natural gem quality diamonds have become very important recently, because of the colour changes they can induce. These colour changes can lead to tremendous price differences. For the stability of the diamond trade it is very important to develop methods to make the distinction between natural and treated colours. In several cases this distinction can not be made at present. Therefore a systematic study of the influence of HPHT treatment on different diamond types is most necessary.

Stretchable on-skin touchless screen sensor enabled by ionic hydrogel

Screen sensors are the most commonly used human-machine interfaces in our everyday life,which have been extensively applied in personal electronics like *** screen sensors are attracting growing interest due to their distinct advantages of high interaction freedom,comfortability,and hand ***,the material compositions of current touchless screen sensors are rigid and fragile,hardly meeting the needs of wearable and stretchable on-skin electronics ***,these touchless screen sensors are also restricted by high power consumption,limited gesture types of recognition,and the requirement of light ***,we report a stretchable on-skin touchless screen sensor(OTSS)enabled by an ionic hydrogel-based triboelectric nanogenerator(TEnG).Compared with current touchless screen sensors,the OTSS is stretchable,self-powered,and competent to recognize diverse gestures by making use of charges naturally carried on fingers without the need of sufficient light *** on-skin noncontact screen operating system is further demonstrated on the basis of the OTSS,which could unlock a cellphone interface in touchless operation mode on the human *** work for the first time introduces the on-skin touchless concept to screen sensors and offers a direction to develop new-generation screen sensors for future cellphones and personal electronics.

Electron-Irradiation and Photo-Excitation Darkening and Bleaching of Yb Doped Silica Fibers: Comparison

We report a comparative experimental study of the attenuation spectra transformations for a series of Yb doped alumino-germano silicate fibers with different contents of Yb3+ dopants, which arise as the result of irradiation either by a beam of high-energy electrons or by resonant (into the 977-nm absorption peak of YbYb3+ ions) optical pumping. The experimental data obtained reveal that in the two circumstances, substantial and complex but different in appearance changes occur within the resonant absorption band of YbYb3+ ions and in the off-resonance background loss of the fibers. Possible mechanisms responsible for these spectral changes are discussed.

An experimental study of the nonlinear changes in refractive index and transmission coefficient of single-crystal ZnSe:Fe2+, fabricated through the Fe-diffusion method, at long-pulse (~300 ns), sub-mJ, 2.94-mm Z-scan probing is reported. As well, a theoretical model based on the generalized Avizonis-Grotbeck equations is developed and applied for straightforward fitting of the open- and closed-aperture Z-scans, obtained for ZnSe:Fe2+ with different Fe2+ centers concentrations. The modeling results reveal that the contributions in the absorption and refractive index nonlinearities of ZnSe:Fe2+ are “common” resonant-absorption saturation (the minor part) and pulse-induced heating of the samples (the major part), which are strongly dependent on Fe2+ concentrations. Large values of the index change (>~10-3) and partial resonant-absorption bleaching (limited by ~50%), both produced via the thermal effect mainly, are the features of the ZnSe:Fe2+ samples inherent to this type of excitation.

在3种海绵(Myxillaincrustans,Coelosphaerasp.,Biemnavariantia)中发现了与甘露聚糖结合的专一性凝集素,甘露聚糖的甘露糖残基是通过α(1→2)和α(1→6)相互联接的。对3种海绵凝集素的血凝抑制测试的结果表明,对于海绵Myxillaincrustans凝集素而言,猪腺体糖蛋白、脱酸猪腺体糖蛋白、胎球蛋白和脱酸胎球蛋白都是比较好的抑制剂;对于海绵Coelosphaerasp.凝集素而言,仅猪腺体糖蛋白是有效的抑制剂;而对海绵Biemnavariantia凝集素来说,猪腺体糖蛋白和脱酸猪腺体糖蛋白是有效的抑制剂。这3种凝集素对自然的和用胰蛋白酶消化后的人体红细胞(B型)都有很好的凝集作用,它们的血凝活性不依赖钙离子的存在。

Silicon and III-V Solar Cells: From Modus Vivendi to Modus Operandi

In the present paper, some novel opportunities for the development of high-efficient Si and III-V-based solar cells are considered: energy-saving environment friendly low-temperature technology of forming p-n junctions in Si (1), elaboration of structurally perfect GaAs/Ge/Si epitaxial substrates (2) and application of protective antireflecting coatings based on cubic zirconia (3). As a result: 1) new technique of forming p-n junctions in silicon has been elaborated. The technique provided easy and comparatively cheap process of production of semiconductor devices such as solar cells. The essence of the technique under the study is comprised in formation p-n junctions in silicon by a change of conductivity in the bulk of the sample occurring as a result of redistribution of the impurities, which already exists in the sample before its processing by ions. It differs from the techniques of diffusion and ion doping where change of conductivity and formation of p-n junction in the sample occur as a result of introduction of atoms of the other dopants from the outside;2) The conditions for synthesis of GaAs/Ge/Si epitaxial substrates with a thin (200 nm) Ge buffer layer featured with (1 - 2) × 105 cm-2 density of the threading dislocation in the GaAs layer. Ge buffer was obtained by chemical vapor deposition with a hot wire and GaAs layer of 1 μm thick was grown by the metal organic chemical vapor deposition. Root mean square surface roughness of GaAs layers of the less than 1 nm and good photoluminescence properties along with their high uniformity were obtained;3) The conditions ensuring the synthesis of uniform functional (buffer, insulating and protective) fianite layers on Si and GaAs substrates by means of magnetron and electron-beam sputtering have been determined. Fianite films have been shown to be suitable for the use as an ideal anti-reflecting material with high protective and anticorrosive properties.

We investigated five different specificity lectins from marine *** lectins,DTL and DTL—A from ***,SVL-2 from *** from *** were shown inhibition of infection of the C8166 cell line,byhuman immunodeficiency virus—1 IIIB in ***,DTL—A and CGL displayed inhibition ofcell—cell fusion syncytia formation between chronically infected H9 and uninfected C8166 *** activity was shown by DTL—A and *** our studies,the lectins form marineinvertebrates with different specificity were substantiated by an increase in the inhibitoryactivity in the series:DTL>SVL-2>DTL-A>***-1 didn’t display anti—HIV activity.
