Using the methods of transmission electron microscopy, the carbide phase evolution in surface layers of the differentiallyquenched rails is studied after the passed tonnage of 691.8 million tons at the depth up to 10 mm along the central axis andfillet of rail head. The action of two mutual supplement mechanisms of steel carbide phase transformation in surface layersat rail operation is established：（1） cutting mechanism of cementite particles with the following departure in the volume offerrite grains or plates （in pearlite structure）; （2） cutting mechanism and following dissolution of cementite particles,transfer of carbon atoms on dislocations （in Cottrell atmospheres and dislocation cores）, transfer of carbon atoms bymoving dislocations into ferrite grains volume （or plates） with the following repeated formation of nanosized cementiteparticles. The first mechanism is accompanied by the change in linear sizes and morphology of carbide particles. Cementiteelement composition change is not essential. Carbide structure change can take place during the second mechanism.

Analysis of molecular mechanisms that lead to the development of various types of tumors is essential for biology and medicine,because it may help to find new therapeutic opportunities for cancer treatment and cure including personalized treatment *** of the pathways known to be important for the development of neoplastic diseases and pathological processes is the Hedgehog signaling pathway that normally controls human embryonic *** accumulation of various types of biological data,including interactions between proteins,regulation of genes transcription,proteomics,and metabolomics experiments results,allows the application of computational analysis of these big data for identification of key molecular mechanisms of certain diseases and pathologies and promising therapeutic *** aim of this study is to develop a computational approach for revealing associations between human proteins and genes interacting with the Hedgehog pathway components,as well as for identifying their roles in the development of various types of *** automatically collect sets of abstract texts from the NCBI PubMed bibliographic *** recognition of the Hedgehog pathway proteins and genes and neoplastic diseases we use a dictionary-based named entity recognition approach,while for all other proteins and genes machine learning method is *** association extraction,we develop a set of semantic *** complete the results of the text analysis with the gene set enrichment *** identified key pathways that may influence the Hedgehog pathway and their roles in tumor development are then verified using the information in the literature.

Dear Editor,This letter proposes a parameter-free multiple kernel clustering(MKC)method by using shifted Laplacian *** MKC can effectively cluster nonlinear data,but it faces two main challenges:1)As an unsupervised method,it is up against parameter problems which makes the parameters intractable to tune and is unfeasible in real-life applications;2)Only considers the clustering information,but ignores the interference of noise within Laplacian.

Low-carbon regulation and market competition present new opportunities and challenges for supply chain firms,emphasizing the significance of carbon reduction and channel encroachment in enhancing *** study formulates various game models to evaluate manufacturers’encroachment strategies(with or without encroachment)under different conditions of low-carbon investment by *** investigates the operational decisions and carbon abatement strategies of firms under various *** findings reveal that encroachment elevates unit abatement levels but decreases wholesale prices and retailer profits when unit encroachment costs are below certain *** contrast,the manufacturer consistently benefits from channel ***-initiated low-carbon investments can motivate manufacturers to reduce emissions.A lower carbon price potentially offers financial advantages to retailer engaging in such ***,the likelihood of reduced environmental damage postchannel encroachment,compared to preprofessional encroachment,increases when the retailer invests in low-carbon *** retailer’s profit is inversely related to the carbon price,and a higher carbon price can strengthen the incentive effect of low-carbon investment on the manufacturer’s abatement endeavors.

The high entropy alloys(HEAs)are the newly developed high-performance materials that have gained significant importance in defence,nuclear and aerospace sector due to their superior mechanical properties,heat resistance,high temperature strength and corrosion *** alloys are manufactured by the equal mixing or larger proportions of five or more alloying *** exhibit superior mechanical performance compared to traditional engineering alloys because of the extensive alloying composition and higher entropy of *** state welding(SSW)techniques such as friction stir welding(fSW),rotary friction welding(RfW),diffusion bonding(DB)and explosive welding(EW)have been efficiently deployed for improving the microstructural integrity and mechanical properties of welded HEA *** HEA interlayers revealed greater potential in supressing the formation of deleterious intermetallic phases and maximizing the mechanical properties of HEAs *** similar and dissimilar joining of HEAs has been manifested to be viable for HEA systems which further expands their industrial ***,the main objective of this review paper is to present a critical review of current state of research,challenges and opportunities and main directions in SSW of HEAs mainly CoCrfeNiMn and Al_xCoCrfeNi *** state of the art of problems,progress and future outlook in SSW of HEAs are critically reviewed by considering the formation of phases,microstructural evolution and mechanical properties of HEAs joints.

This paper focuses on a Pareto cooperative differential game with a linear mean-field backward stochastic system and a quadratic form cost functional. Based on a weighted sum optimality method, the Pareto game is equivalently converted to an optimal control problem. In the first place,the feedback form of Pareto optimal strategy is derived by virtue of decoupling technology, which is represented by four Riccati equations, a mean-field forward stochastic differential equation(Mf-fSDE),and a mean-field backward stochastic differential equation(Mf-BSDE). In addition, the corresponding Pareto optimal solution is further obtained. finally, the author solves a problem in mathematical finance to illustrate the application of the theoretical results.

In this paper,the dynamics(including shadowing property,expansiveness,topological stability and entropy)of several types of upper semi-continuous set-valued maps are mainly considered from differentiable dynamical systems points of *** is shown that(1)if f is a hyperbolic endomorphism then for eachε>0 there exists a C^(1)-neighborhood U of f such that the induced set-valued map f_(f,U)has theε-shadowing property,and moreover,if f is an expanding endomorphism then there exists a C^(1)-neighborhood U of f such that the induced set-valued map f_(f,U)has the Lipschitz shadowing property;(2)when a set-valued map f is generated by finite expanding endomorphisms,it has the shadowing property,and moreover,if the collection of the generators has no coincidence point then f is expansive and hence is topologically stable;(3)if f is an expanding endomorphism then for eachε>0 there exists a C^(1)-neighborhood U of f such that h(f_(f,U,ε))=h(f);(4)when f is generated by finite expanding endomorphisms with no coincidence point,the entropy formula of f is ***,the dynamics of the set-valued maps based on discontinuous maps on the interval are also considered.

To explore the kinetic adsorption under continuous and nonequilibrium states, an integration of continuous measurement and adsorption platform kinetics method was proposed, which was initially called the ICM-AP kinetics method, and a corresponding kinetic adsorption experimental method was developed. Adsorption experiments of europium(Eu) on Ca-bentonite,Na-bentonite, and the D231 cation exchange resin were performed using the ICM-AP kinetics method and continuous measurements. Because the kinetic experimental results observed in this study were different from those of traditional batch adsorption data, pseudo-first-order or pseudo-second-order kinetic models were unsuitable for fitting the experimental ***, a liquid membrane diffusion(LMD) model was developed based on the assumption of simultaneous adsorption/desorption to discuss the mechanism of kinetic adsorption. The kinetic adsorption mechanism was also studied by using *** results indicated that the proposed adsorption model can fit the experimental data more suitably, and the adsorption/desorption behaviors of Eu on bentonite and the D231 resin were simultaneously observed, suggesting that the adsorption kinetics of Eu(Ⅲ) was mainly dominated by hydrated Eu(Ⅲ) ions on the liquid membrane.

Organic electrochemical transistors(OECTs) exhibit significant potential for applications in healthcare and human-machine interfaces, due to their tunable synthesis, facile deposition, and excellent biocompatibility. Expanding OECTs to the fexible devices will significantly facilitate stable contact with the skin and enable more possible bioelectronic applications. In this work,we summarize the device physics of fexible OECTs, aiming to offer a foundational understanding and guidelines for material selection and device architecture. Particular attention is paid to the advanced manufacturing approaches, including photolithography and printing techniques, which establish a robust foundation for the commercialization and large-scale fabrication. And abundantly demonstrated examples ranging from biosensors, artificial synapses/neurons, to bioinspired nervous systems are summarized to highlight the considerable prospects of smart healthcare. In the end, the challenges and opportunities are proposed for fexible OECTs. The purpose of this review is not only to elaborate on the basic design principles of fexible OECTs, but also to act as a roadmap for further exploration of wearable OECTs in advanced bio-applications.
