Objective:This cross-sectional study aimed to determine the epidemiology of olfactory and gustatory dysfunctions related to COVID-19 in ***:This study was conducted by 45 tertiary Grade-A hospitals in *** and offline questionnaire data were obtained from patients infected with COVID-19 between December 28,2022,and February 21,*** collected information included basic demographics,medical history,smoking and drinking history,vaccination history,changes in olfactory and gustatory functions before and after infection,and other postinfection symptoms,as well as the duration and improvement status of olfactory and gustatory ***:Complete questionnaires were obtained from 35,566 *** overall incidence of olfactory and taste dysfunction was 67.75%.Being female or being a cigarette smoker increased the likelihood of developing olfactory and taste *** received four doses of the vaccine or having good oral health or being a alcohol drinker decreased the risk of such *** infection,the average olfactory and taste VAS scores were 8.41 and 8.51,respectively;after infection,they decreased to 3.69 and 4.29 and recovered to 5.83 and 6.55 by the time of the *** median duration of dysosmia and dysgeusia was 15 and 12 days,respectively,with 0.5%of patients having symptoms lasting for more than 28 *** overall self-reported improvement rate was 59.16%.Recovery was higher in males,never smokers,those who received two or three vaccine doses,and those that had never experienced dental health issues,or chronic accompanying ***:The incidence of dysosmia and dysgeusia following infection with the SARS-CoV-2 virus is high in *** and prognosis are influenced by several factors,including sex,SARS-CoV-2 vaccination,history of head-facial trauma,nasal and oral health status,smoking and drinking history,and the persistence of accompanying symptoms.

The Pomacea canaliculata, also known as apple snail, is an invasive species in China, posing a serious threat to agricultural production and public health. To prevent its rampant infestation, we developed a highly efficient snail-killing lead compound, 1-(4-chlorophenyl)-3-(pyridin-3-yl)urea (PBQ). However, the killing mechanism of PBQ remains unclear. To elucidate this, two novel compounds, B-PBQ and J-PBQ, were developed through structural modification of PBQ and were used, through both protein pull-down assay and confocal laser scanning microscopy imaging, to identify and confirm that phosphofructokinase(PFK) in the apple snail is the primary target protein of PBQ. Further studies revealed that PBQ successfully inhibits the activity,content, and expression of PFK in apple snail, disrupting the glycolysis pathway and leading to abnormal energy *** disruptions impair the snail’s tolerance to low oxygen, resulting in its efficient eradication. These findings offer a promising direction for developing next-generation PFK-targeted snail-killing pesticides. Furthermore, the strategy of combining pull-down assays with optical imaging used in this work provides a novel approach for the exploration of mechanisms of other pesticide candidates.

Autophagy is a highly conserved cellular program in eukaryotic cells which mediates the degradation of cytoplasmic components through the lysosome,also named the vacuole in ***,the molecular mechanisms underlying the fusion of autophagosomes with the vacuole remain ***,we report the functional characterization of a rice(Oryza sativa)mutant with defects in storage protein transport in endosperm cells and accumulation of numerous autophagosomes in root *** and immunocytochemical experiments showed that this mutant exhibits a defect in the fusion between autophagosomes and *** mutant harbors a loss-of-function mutation in the rice homolog of Arabidopsis thaliana MONENSIN SENSITIVITY1(MON1).Biochemical and genetic evidence revealed a synergistic interaction between rice MON1 and AUTOPHAGY-RELATED 8a in maintaining normal growth and *** addition,the rice mon1 mutant disrupted storage protein sorting to protein storage ***,quantitative proteomics verified that the loss of MON1 function influenced diverse biological pathways including autophagy and vacuolar transport,thus decreasing the transport of autophagic and vacuolar cargoes to ***,our findings establish a molecular link between autophagy and vacuolar protein transport,and offer insights into the dual functions of the MON1–CCZ1(CAFFEINE ZINC SENSITIVITY1)complex in plants.

输尿管内窥镜手术是目前针对肾结石的主流治疗方案,其外形细长、镜体柔软,能够灵活穿越人体自然腔道的内径狭窄的尿道和输尿管,检查视野范围更广,使医生能够更好地观察到病变区域.但一般的输尿管内窥镜仅配备单目摄像头进行配合手术操作,无法借助额外设备获取数据导致了其图像信息的匮乏;同时,相比于胃肠、鼻镜等手术场景,本研究的肾内场景在不具备公开数据集的同时,图像质量参差不齐,表面纹理细节不足,孔洞区域褶皱少,受模糊反光等干扰大,都易使深度估计受到影响针对以上问题,提出了一种基于改进风格迁移模型的深度估计方法.该方法首先根据术前CT图像重建肾脏内部腔道模型并提取中心路径,将虚拟内窥镜的摄像头设置在插值后的路径点上,构建了虚拟内窥镜漫游图像与深度估计图像一一对应的数据集,并基于此数据集训练了一个深度估计模型;随后,使用添加高效通道注意力(ECA)模块的改进风格迁移模型,将真实内窥镜图像域迁移至虚拟内窥镜图像域;最后,再将经由风格迁移产生的虚拟内窥镜图像送入上述训练得来的深度估计模型中,最终实现真实内窥镜图像的深度估计.所提方法的可行性及有效性在输尿管钬激光碎石术的图像中得到验证.

Early detection and treatment of cardiovascular diseases(CVDs) can be significantly enhanced through the use of flexible wearable electrocardiogram(ECG) sensors, potentially reducing CVD-related mortality. This paper introduces an ECG-on-Chip(EoC) solution tailored for flexible ECG sensors, incorporating novel features to address common challenges in wearable ECG technology. The EoC integrates a chopper-stabilized capacitively-coupled instrumentation amplifier(CS-CCIA),ensuring a high common-mode rejection ratio(CMRR) and low noise performance. Performance is further boosted via a positive feedback loop(PFL) and a programmable gain amplifier(PGA) with shared on-chip calibration logic, which enhances input impedance and minimizes gain variability to ensure consistent algorithm performance. Additionally, a secondary chopping technique is employed to further reduce noise, achieving an input-referred noise level of 454 nVrms. The embedded algorithm within the EoC is designed to extract clinically meaningful features, facilitating robust real-time arrhythmia analysis. Fabricated using a 0.18 μm CMOS process, the EoC consumes 14.9 μW with a supply voltage of 1.2 V. The algorithm's efficacy has been validated over 0.4 million heartbeats, demonstrating a sensitivity of over 99.7% for R-peak detection and 98.3% for arrhythmia analysis. To demonstrate practical application, the EoC has been integrated with a commercial Bluetooth low energy(BLE)transceiver, forming a wireless arrhythmia monitoring sensor equipped with dry electrodes. This system consumes 292.04 μW in arrhythmia-aware transmission mode, supporting 13 days of operation with a 30 mAh thin-film battery.

The effects of different aging processes on the precipitated phase,mechanical properties,molten salt corrosion resistance and post-weld microstructure of 347H stainless steel were *** results show that a large number of precipitated phases appear in the crystal after aging at 700℃for 400 *** aging for 3000 h,the number of precipitated phases increases and most of them are gathered at the grain *** are two forms of precipitates,one is the coarse precipitate rich in Cr,and the other is the smaller precipitates mainly consisting of *** aging at 700℃for 30 min,the yield strength and tensile strength of the samples at room temperature and 593℃increase,but the elongation *** corrosion results in nitrate at 565℃show that the corrosion products of the aged samples are the same as that of the original samples,which are Fe_(2)O_(3),Fe_(3)O_(4),MgCr_(2)O_(4),MgFe_(2)O_(4),FeCr_(2)O_(4) and NaFeO_(2).The proportion of Fe_(3)O_(4) that is dense and well bonded to the subtrate in the original sample is higher than that in the aged sample,so the corrosion resistance is *** 700℃,the aging time has no obvious effect on the microstructure after welding.
