Background Autism spectrum disorder(ASD)is a complex group of neurodevelopmental *** has highlighted a close association between the retinoic acid(RA)signaling pathway and *** study investigates alterations in the vitamin A(VA,retinol)to RA metabolic pathway in children with ASD and speculates on the underlying reasons for these *** propose a subtype characterized by downregulated RA signaling in ASD,laying the groundwork for precise diagnosis and treatment *** We included 489 children with ASD and 280 typically developing(TD)*** with ASD underwent evaluations of core symptoms and neuro-developmental levels,which were conducted by professional developmental behavior physicians using assessment *** VA and all-trans RA(atRA)levels were determined by high-performance liquid chromatography and ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography–tandem mass *** expression levels and concentrations of enzyme molecules such as retinol dehydrogenase 10 were assessed using quantitative polymerase chain reaction and enzyme-linked immunosorbent *** Children with ASD exhibited reduced serum atRA,accompanied by a downregulation of atRA synthesis *** reduction in serum atRA levels was linked not only to VA levels but also to the aberrant expression of metabolic enzymes responsible for ***,the serum atRA levels in children with ASD were more strongly correlated with core symptoms and neurodevelopmental levels than VA *** Children with ASD exhibited a dual regulation of reduced serum atRA levels,influenced by both VA levels and abnormal expression of atRA metabolic enzymes.

Large-scale functional connectivity predicts cognitive impairment related to type 2 diabetes mellitus

The complexity of alarm detection and diagnosis tasks often results in a lack of alarm log *** to the strong rule associations inherent in alarm log data,existing data augmentation algorithms cannot obtain good results for alarm log *** address this problem,this paper introduces a new algorithm for augmenting alarm log data,termed APRGAN,which combines a generative adversarial network(GAN)with the Apriori *** generates alarm log data under the guidance of rules mined by the rule ***,we propose a new dynamic updating mechanism to alleviate the mode collapse problem of the *** addition to updating the real reference dataset used to train the discriminator in the GAN,we dynamically update the parameters and the rule set of the Apriori algorithm according to the data generated in each *** extensive experimentation on two public datasets,it is demonstrated that APRGAN surpasses other data augmentation algorithms in the domain with respect to alarm log data augmentation,as evidenced by its superior performance on metrics such as BLEU,ROUGE,and METEOR.

The dynamic properties of the two-level entangled atom in an optical field

The interaction of an optical field and one of the entangled atoms is analyzed in detail in this paper. Furthermore, the dynamic properties of the two-level entangled atom are manifested. The properties of the action are dependent on the initial state of the atom. After detecting the atom out of the field, we can obtain the state of the other atom moving in the field. It is shown that the state of the atom out of the field influences the dynamic properties of the atom in the field.

Developing safer and more efficient hydrogen storage technology is a pivotal step to realizing the hydrogen economy. Owing to the lightweight, high hydrogen storage density and abundant reserves, MgH_(2) has been widely studied as one of the most promising solidstate hydrogen storage materials. However, defects such as stable thermodynamics, sluggish kinetics and rapid capacity decay have seriously hindered its practical application. This article reviews recent advances in catalyst doping and nanostructures for improved kinetic performance of MgH_(2)/Mg systems for hydrogen release/absorption, the tuning of their thermodynamic stability properties by alloying and reactant destabilization, and the dual thermodynamic and kinetic optimization of the MgH_(2)/Mg system achieved by nanoconfinement with in situ catalysis and ball milling with in situ aerosol spraying, aiming to open new perspectives for the scale-up of MgH_(2) for hydrogen storage applications.

Comparative pharmacokinetics of baicalin and geniposide in juvenile and adult rats after oral administration of Qingkailing Granules

Objective:To explore the effect of age on Qingkailing Granules disposition by comparing the pharmacoknetics of geniposide and baicalin in juvenile and adult ***:A simple and rapid LC-MS/MS method was developed and validated to simultaneously determine geniposide and baicalin in rat plasma after a simple protein *** analytes were separated on an Agilent ZORBAX Extend-C18 *** mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile and water with 0.1%(volume percent)formic acid at a flow rate of 0.6 mL/*** ionization was conducted using an ESI source in negative ion *** reaction monitoring was used for quantification at transitions of m/z 445.0→m/z 268.9 for baicalin,m/z 433.2→m/z 225.0 for geniposide,m/z 431.0→m/z341.0 for vitexin(IS).Juvenile and adult rats were administrated Qingkailing Granules(3 g/kg)*** concentrations of baicalin and geniposide were determined by LC-MS/***:The linear ranges of the analytes were 1-1000 ng/mL for baicalin and 2-2000 ng/mL for *** method was successfully applied to compare the pharmacokinetics of the analytes between juvenile and adult rats after oral administration of Qingkailing *** was bigger in adult rats,while t1/2 was longer in juvenile ***:These results suggested that the absorption and elimination of baicalin and geniposide in juvenile rats was lower than that in adult *** attention should be paid to the pharmacokinetic difference when Qingkailing Granules were used in children.

Objective:The aim of this study is to discover the possible working mechanisms of Ardisiae Japonicae Herba(AJH)on hepatoma carcinoma(HCC).Methods:In this study,ethanol extract of AJH was prepared and used to treat HCC cell in ***,a genomic wide RNA sequencing(RNA-seq)was performed to screen deregulated genes in HCC cells after the treatment of AJH *** gene and protein expression related to lipid metabolism in HCC cells were also investigated to validate the results obtained from ***:AJH extract could inhibit HCC cell proliferation in ***-seq analysis has identified 1,601 differentially expressed genes(DEGs,fold change≥2.0 or fold change≤0.5,Plipid metabolism was a potential pathway related to AJH *** agreement with the RNA-seq data,q PCR and Western-blot analysis indicated that expression of genes and proteins related to lipid metabolism(SREBP1,ACC,ACLY and FASN)were significantly downregulated in AJH treatment group as compared with the control ***,AJH extract could also decrease lipid contents and cellular free fatty acid levels in HCC ***:Ethanol extract of AJH could inhibit HCC cell proliferation in vitro,the possible mechanism may be related to the inhibition of lipid metabolism.
