Elastomers with high strength and toughness,excellent self-healing properties,and biocompatibility have broad application prospects in wearable electronics and other fields,but preparing it remains a *** this work,we propose a highly adaptable strategy by introducing the small molecule crosslinking agent of triethanolamine(TEA)to the poly(thioctic acid)(PTA)chains and preparing the PAx Ey elastomers using a simple synthesis *** strategy stabilizes the PTA chains by constructing multiple non-covalent cross-linked dynamic networks,endowing materials with excellent strength and toughness(tensile strength of 288 kPa,toughness of 278.2 kJ/m3),admirable self-healing properties(self-healing efficiency of 121.6%within 7 h at 70℃),and good *** PAx Ey elastomers can also be combined with MWNTs to become flexible strain sensors,which can be used to monitor human joint movements with high sensitivity,repeatable responses,and stability.

SDH-FCOS:An Efficient Neural Network for Defect Detection in Urban Underground Pipelines

Urban underground pipelines are an important infrastructure in cities,and timely investigation of problems in underground pipelines can help ensure the normal operation of *** to the growing demand for defect detection in urban underground pipelines,this study developed an improved defect detection method for urban underground pipelines based on fully convolutional one-stage object detector(FCOS),called spatial pyramid pooling-fast(SPPF)feature fusion and dual detection heads based on FCOS(SDH-FCOS)*** study improved the feature fusion component of the model network based on FCOS,introduced an SPPF network structure behind the last output feature layer of the backbone network,fused the local and global features,added a top-down path to accelerate the circulation of shallowinformation,and enriched the semantic information acquired by shallow *** ability of the model to detect objects with multiple morphologies was strengthened by introducing dual detection *** experimental results using an open dataset of underground pipes show that the proposed SDH-FCOS model can recognize underground pipe defects more accurately;the average accuracy was improved by 2.7% compared with the original FCOS model,reducing the leakage rate to a large extent and achieving real-time ***,our model achieved a good trade-off between accuracy and speed compared with other mainstream *** proved the effectiveness of the proposed model.

The pursuit of high-performance narrowband blue organic light-emitting diodes(OLEDs)is of paramount importance in both academic research and industrial *** obvious strides have been made in the design of narrowband blue emitters,the development of appropriate host materials has evidently trailed ***,we introduce a medium-ring strategy for crafting host molecules based on the heptagonal tribenzo[b,d,f]azepine(TBA)*** twisted three-dimensional(3D)architecture of the TBA framework not only endows the host molecules with fast hole-transporting pathways but also effectively reduces exciton *** with two TBA units,DTBA,synthesized with ease,demonstrates a huge horizontal orientation factor(Θ//)of 93.5%and a broad emission spectrum for accelerating the energy transfer process in the emitting layer,which contributes to enhancing device *** have fabricated high-performance narrowband blue OLEDs using DTBA as the host,FIrpic as the phosphor sensitizer,and the widely used boron-nitrogen-containing multiple resonance emitter *** devices exhibit a maximum external quantum efficiency(EQEmax)as high as 31.0%with an impressively lowefficiency *** at a high luminance level of 10,000 cd m^(-2),the EQE value remains noteworthy at 20.3%,marking a significant advancement in BCz-BN-based devices.

Friction and wear phenomenon is a complex nonlinear system,and it is also a significant problem in the process of metal *** order to systematically analyze the friction and wear process of tool material-workpiece material friction pair in the cutting process of high hardness alloy steel under different lubrication conditions,the chaotic characteristics of friction process between high hardness alloy steel and cemented carbide under the lubrication C60 nano-particles fluid are studied based on the chaos ***,the friction and wear experiments of the friction pair between high hardness alloy steel and cemented carbide tool are carried out based on the ring-block friction and wear tester,and the results of friction force signal in time domain and wear width are ***,the friction signals in time domain are processed and transformed based on phase space reconstruction and recurrence plot theory,and the recurrence plots of different experimental groups under different lubrication conditions are *** evolution law of recurrence plot is further observed and studied,and the recursive quantitative index is ***,the cutting experiments of tool wear are carried *** results show that the proposed method can intuitively and accurately reveal the wear evolution process and the wear feature identification law of the tool material-high hardness alloy steel pair under different lubrication ***,it is found that when the concentration of C60 nanoparticles is 200∼300 ppm,the stability of the friction pair system is *** proposed method can provide a strategy for wear prediction in cutting process,and provide a theoretical basis and technical support for antifriction lubrication methods in practical cutting applications.

The wear of metal cutting tools will progressively rise as the cutting time goes on. Wearing heavily on the toolwill generate significant noise and vibration, negatively impacting the accuracy of the forming and the surfaceintegrity of the workpiece. Hence, during the cutting process, it is imperative to continually monitor the tool wearstate andpromptly replace anyheavilyworn tools toguarantee thequality of the *** conventional tool wearmonitoring models, which are based on machine learning, are specifically built for the intended cutting ***, these models require retraining when the cutting conditions undergo any changes. This method has noapplication value if the cutting conditions frequently change. This manuscript proposes a method for monitoringtool wear basedonunsuperviseddeep transfer learning. Due to the similarity of the tool wear process under varyingworking conditions, a tool wear recognitionmodel that can adapt to both current and previous working conditionshas been developed by utilizing cutting monitoring data from history. To extract and classify cutting vibrationsignals, the unsupervised deep transfer learning network comprises a one-dimensional (1D) convolutional neuralnetwork (CNN) with a multi-layer perceptron (MLP). To achieve distribution alignment of deep features throughthe maximum mean discrepancy algorithm, a domain adaptive layer is embedded in the penultimate layer of thenetwork. A platformformonitoring tool wear during endmilling has been constructed. The proposedmethod wasverified through the execution of a full life test of end milling under multiple working conditions with a Cr12MoVsteel workpiece. Our experiments demonstrate that the transfer learning model maintains a classification accuracyof over 80%. In comparisonwith the most advanced tool wearmonitoring methods, the presentedmodel guaranteessuperior performance in the target domains.

Unspecific peroxygenases(UPOs, EC 1.***.2.1) is a kind of thioheme enzyme capable of catalyzing various oxidations of inert C–H bonds using H_(2)O_(2) as an oxygen donor without cofactors. However, the enhancement of the H_(2)O_(2) tolerance of UPOs is always challenging. In this study, the A161C mutant of r Dca UPO,which originates from Daldinia caldariorum, was found to be highly H_(2)O_(2)-resistant. Compared with the wild type, the mutant r Dca UPO-A161C showed a 10-h prolonged half-life and a 64% improved enzyme activity when incubated in 10 mmol/L H_(2)O_(2). The crystal structure analysis at 1.47 A showed that r Dca UPOA161C exhibited 10 α-helixes(cyan) and a series of ordered rings, forming a single asymmetric spherical structure. The two conserved domains near heme formed an active site with the catalytic PCP and EHD regions(Glu86, His87, Asp88 residues). The H_(2)O_(2) tolerance of r Dca UPO-A161C was preliminarily explored by comparing its structure with the wild type. Notably, r Dca UPO-A161C showed significantly higher catalytic efficiency than the wild type for the production of hydroxyl fatty acids. This study is anticipated to provide an insight into the structure-function relationship and expand potential applications of UPOs.

Ferroptosis inhibitors reduce celastrol toxicity and preserve its insulin sensitizing effects in insulin resistant HepG2 cells

Objective:Research has shown that celastrol can effectively treat a variety of diseases,yet when passing a certain dosage threshold,celastrol becomes toxic,causing complications such as liver and kidney damage and erythrocytopenia,among *** this dichotomy in mind,it is extremely important to find ways to preserve celastrol’s efficacy while reducing or preventing its ***:In this study,insulin-resistant Hep G2(IR-Hep G2)cells were prepared using palmitic acid and used for in vitro ***-Hep G2 cells were treated with celastrol alone or in combination with Nacetylcysteine(NAC)or ferrostatin-1(Fer-1)for 12,24 or 48 h,at a range of *** counting kit-8assay,Western blotting,quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction,glucose consumption assessment,and flow cytometry were performed to measure celastrol’s cytotoxicity and whether the cell death was linked to ***:Celastrol treatment increased lipid oxidation and decreased expression of anti-ferroptosis proteins in IR-Hep G2 *** downregulated glutathione peroxidase 4(GPX4)m *** docking models predicted that solute carrier family 7 member 11(SLC7A11)and GPX4 were covalently bound by ***,we found for the first time that the application of ferroptosis inhibitors(especially NAC)was able to reduce celastrol’s toxicity while preserving its ability to improve insulin sensitivity in IR-Hep G2 ***:One potential mechanism of celastrol’s cytotoxicity is the induction of ferroptosis,which can be alleviated by treatment with ferroptosis *** findings provide a new strategy to block celastrol’s toxicity while preserving its therapeutic effects.
