The authors examine the Indian Ocean sea surface temperature(SST) biases simulated by a Flexible Regional Ocean Atmosphere Land System(FROALS) *** regional coupled model exhibits pronounced cold SST biases in a large portion of the Indian Ocean warm *** biases in the net surface heat fluxes are evident in the model,leading to the cold biases of the *** analysis indicates that the negative biases in the net surface heat fluxes are mainly contributed by the biases of sensible heat and latent heat ***-surface meteorological variables that could contribute to the SST biases are also *** is found that the biases of sensible heat and latent heat flux are caused by the colder and dryer near-surface air in the model.

Molybdenum carbide(MoxC)with variable phase structure possesses flexible hydrogen-binding energy(HBE),which is a promising hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)***,a hybrid multiphase MoxC freestanding film coupled with Co3Mo(CM/MoxC@NC)is synthesized through the electrospinning method supplemented by the heteroatom ***/MoxC@NC surpasses its pure phase counterparts and exhibits remarkable catalytic activity at 114mV to deliver a current density of 10mA cm^(−2) in acid,which is among the first-rate level performance reported for MoxC-based *** subsequent ex situ and in situ characterizations reveal a phase transition mechanism based on self-catalysis that CoOx depletes the coordinated C ofα-MoC via the interaction,which realizes the assembly of weak HBEα-MoC and strong HBEβ-Mo2C,and the enhanced utilization of active materials as *** multiple structures with optimal HBE are in favor of the stepwise reactions of HER,as the study of the correlation between HBE and phase structure *** study discloses the underlying phase transition mechanism and highlights the HBE–structure relationship that should be considered for catalyst design.

A large gate metal height technique is proposed to enhance breakdown voltage in GaN channel and AlGaN channel high-electron-mobility-transistors(HEMTs).For GaN channel HEMTs with gate-drain spacing LGD=2.5μm,the breakdown voltage VBR increases from 518 V to 582 V by increasing gate metal height h from 0.2μm to 0.4μ*** GaN channel HEMTs with LGD=7μm,VBR increases from 953 V to 1310 V by increasing h from 0.8μm to 1.6μ*** breakdown voltage enhancement results from the increase of the gate sidewall capacitance and depletion region *** Al0.4Ga0.6N channel HEMT with LGD=7μm,VBR increases from 1535 V to 1763 V by increasing h from 0.8μm to 1.6μm,resulting in a high average breakdown electric field of 2.51 MV/*** and analysis indicate that the high gate metal height is an effective method to enhance breakdown voltage in GaN-based HEMTs,and this method can be utilized in all the lateral semiconductor devices.

Studies have determined the immunomodulatory activities of cell-surface polysaccharides of lactic acid bacteria(LAB)and Bacteroides;however,the mechanisms,synthesis,regulation,structure,and functional links have not been systematically *** first introduce the structure of the capsular poly saccharides(CPS s)of commonly studied probiotics and ***-Wzy dependent and ATP-binding cassette(ABC)transporter-dependent pathways are the two main biosynthesis and secretion of CPS *** genes known to be associated with these two pathways are mainly those associated with priming glycosyltransferase(pGT);a variable number of genes encoding for different glycosyl transferases(GTs);Wzx/Wzy-encoding enzymes related to flippases and polymerases;and ABC-transporter *** addition,the effects of CPSs on host immunity as well as their related underlying mechanisms are *** polysaccharides on probiotics can serve as a mask to aid in their escape from attacks from the host’s immune *** turn,they also exhibit immunomodulatory activities,such as strengthening the functions of macrophages,promoting the maturation of antigen-presenting cells,and inducing regulatory T *** of these effects of cell-surface polysaccharides exhibit their significant protective properties in immunocompromised diseases,such as colitis,arthritis,and ***,we focused on their structure and functional links.

Based on the main characteristics of growth, phenology and resistance at both seedling stage (one year old) and sampling stage (seven years old) of Dahurian larch (Larix gmelinii (Rupr.) Rupr.) from seventeen provenances in China ranging from 47 ° 10' to 52 ° 25' N and 119 ° 57' to 130 ° 25' E, the rules and patterns of infraspecific geographic variation have been studied by using variance analysis, correlation analysis, partial correlation analysis and regression analysis. The best provenance for local site and its neighborhood was selected according to the growth characteristics of seven years provenance test on Liangshui Experimental Forest Farm of Northeast Forestry University.

Rapid and accurate detection of immunoglobulin E(Ig E) in serum and reduction of serum dosage are of great significance for clinical detection. Herein, we described a rapid magnetic separation of Ig E from patient serum based on Fe3 O4@Si O2-NTA@026 sdab as the capture probe and multiple horseradish peroxidase(HRP)-labeled antibodies linked gold nanoparticles(Au NPs) as chemiluminescence(CL) signal amplifier for ultrasensitive detection of total Ig E. Results showed that the limit of detection of our immunosensor system in serum samples was 0.03 k U/L, which is lowest in comparison with current methods, and far lower than that of Immuno CAP for Ig E detection(0.1 k U/L). Furthermore, our immunosensor possessed satisfied repeatability and accuracy, as well as good stability. In comparison with the Immuno CAP for the quantitative detection of Ig E, highly consistent results were achieved in 20 serum samples. Specially, this method was also successfully utilized for assessing the Ig E traces in breast cancer patients,which provides a new idea for the diagnosis of early cancer. Therefore, we believe that such versatile immunosensor will offer an alternative method for the on-site monitoring and determination of various Ig E-related diseases.

Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo(BPPV)represents the most common form of positional *** is caused by dislodged otoconia that freely float in the semicircular canals(canalolithiasis)or attach to the cupula(cupulolithiasis).A cupulolithiasis-type(or a heavy cupula-type)of BPPV implicating the lateral semicircular canal(LSCC)exhibits persistent ageotropic direction-changing positional nystagmus(DCPN)in a head-roll ***,in some cases,unlike any type of BPPV,persistent geotropic DCPN cannot be explained by any mechanisms of BPPV,and don’t fit the current ***,the notion of light cupula has been introduced to refer to the persistent geotropic *** this study,we looked at the clinical features of light cuplula and discussed the possible mechanisms and therapeutic strategies of the *** notion of light cupula is a helpful addition to the theory of peripheral positional vertigo and nystagmus.

BACKGROUND Mesenteric ischemia represents an uncommon complication of splanchnic vein thrombosis,and it is less infrequently seen in young women using oral *** is often delayed in the emergency room;thus,surgical intervention may be inevitable and the absence of thrombus regression or collateral circulation may lead to further postoperative ischemia and a fatal *** SUMMARY We report a 28-year-old female patient on oral contraceptives who presented with acute abdominal *** physical examination findings were not consistent with her symptoms of severe pain and abdominal *** findings and her abnormal blood tests raised suspicion of acute mesenteric ischemia(AMI)induced by splanchnic vein ***-enhanced abdominal computed tomography revealed ischemia of the small intestine with portomesenteric and splenic vein thrombosis(PMSVT).We treated the case promptly by anticoagulation after *** then performed delayed segmental bowel resection after thrombus regression and established collateral circulation guided by collaboration with a multidisciplinary *** patient had an uneventful postoperative course and was discharged 14 d after surgery and took rivaroxaban orally for 6 *** subsequent follow-up to date,the patient has not complained of any other *** AMI induced by PMSVT should be considered in young women who are taking oral contraceptives and have acute abdominal *** anticoagulation followed by surgery is an effective treatment strategy.
