High temperature lubrication performance of chlorophenyl silicone oil

Most studies of liquid lubricants were carried out at temperatures below 200°***,the service temperature of lubricants for aerospace and aeroengine has reached above 300°*** order to investigate the friction mechanism and provide data for high temperature lubrication,the friction and wear properties of chlorophenyl silicone oil(CPSO)-lubricated M50 steel and Si3N4 friction pairs were investigated ***-on-disk experimental results show that the lubrication performance of CPSO varies significantly with *** 150°C,coefficient of friction(COF)remains at 0.13–0.15 after the short running-in stage(600 s),while the COF in the running-in stage is 0.2–*** 200°C and above,the running-in time is much longer(1,200 s),and the initial instantaneous maximum COF can reach *** this condition,the COF gradually decreases and finally stabilizes at around 0.16–0.17 *** phenomenon is mainly due to the different thickness of boundary adsorption *** importantly,the wear rate of M50 steel increases significantly with the temperature,while the wear rate barely changes at temperatures above 200°*** anti-wear mechanism is explained as tribochemical reactions are more likely to occur between CPSO and steel surface with the increased temperature,generating the FeCl2 protective film on the metal ***,FeCl2 tribochemical film improves the lubrication and anti-wear capacity of the *** high temperatures(200–350°C),FeCl2 film becomes thicker,and the contact region pressure becomes lower due to the larger wear scar size,so the wear rate growth of M50 steel is much smaller compared with that of low temperatures(22–150°C).The main findings in this study demonstrate that CPSO lubricant has good anti-wear and lubrication capacity,which is capable of working under temperatures up to 350°C.

The efficient conversion of CO_(2) into hydrocarbon fuels(CH_(4))with high selectivity is considered as a great challenge in photocatalysis owing to the multiple-electron transfer pathway and competitive H_(2) ***,we developed carbon dots(CDs)-modulated S-scheme heterojunction of CDs/NiAl-LDH@In_(2)O_(3)(C-DH@IN)through a facile in-situ hydrothermal *** to the multi-shell nanotube structure,the C-DH@IN shows an enhanced CH_(4) evolution rate of 10.67μmol h^(-1)g^(-1)and higher selectivity of CH_(4)(85.70%)compared with In_(2)O_(3) and Ni Al-LDH@In_(2)O_(3) binary catalyst in the pure water without sacrificial *** spin resonance(ESR)and in situ Fourier transform infrared spectra verify that the constructed S-scheme heterojunction can possess the strong redox capability and the HCOOand CH_(3)O-as critical intermediates play an important role in selective CO_(2) reduction to generate CH_(4).Furthermore,CDs with superior photoabsorption can boost the electron transfer and absorb H^(+),thus improving the integration of H^(+)and CO_(2) ***,this work emphasizes a facile strategy to achieve efficient CO_(2)-to-CH_(4) conversion based on construction of CDs-based heterojunction catalysts.

Systematic analysis and modeling of the FLASH sparing effect as a function of dose and dose rate

Ultrahigh-dose-rate radiotherapy (FLASH-RT) is a revolutionary radiotherapy technology that can spare normal tissues without compromising tumor control. Although qualitative experimental results have been reported, quantitative and systematic analysis of data is necessary. Particularly, the FLASH effect response model to the dose or dose rate is still unclear. This study investigated the relationships between the FLASH effect and experimental parameters, such as dose, dose rate, and other factors by analyzing published in vivo experimental data from animal models. The data were modeled based on logistic regression analysis using the sigmoid function. The model was evaluated using prediction accuracy, receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve, and area under the ROC curve. Results showed that the FLASH effect was closely related to the dose, mean dose rate, tissue type, and corresponding biological endpoints. The dose rate corresponding to a 50% probability of triggering cognitive protection in the brain was 45 Gy s-1\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$${-1}$$\end{document}. The dose rate corresponding to a 50% probability of triggering intestinal crypt survival and regeneration was 140 Gy s-1\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$${-1}$$\end{document}. For the skin toxicity effect, the dose corresponding to a 50% probability of triggering the FLASH effect was 24 Gy. This study helps to characterize the conditions underlying the FLASH effect and provides important information for optimizing experiments.

BACKGROUND Extracorporeal shock wave therapy(ESWT)is increasingly being recognized as an advantageous alternative for treating non-union due to its efficacy and minimal associated ***-union following Bernese periacetabular osteotomy(PAO)is particularly challenging,with a reported 55%delayed union and 8%***,we highlight a unique case of ischial non-union post-PAO treated successfully with a structured ESWT *** SUMMARY A 50-year-old patient,diagnosed with left ischial non-union following the PAO,underwent six cycles of ESWT treatment across ten *** cycle,spaced four weeks apart,consisted of five consecutive ESWT sessions without *** X-ray follow-ups showed progressive disappearance of the fracture line and fracture *** patient ultimately achieved a satisfactory asymptomatic recovery and bone *** The results from this case suggest that this ESWT regimen can be a promising non-invasive treatment strategy for non-union following PAO.

Carbon cathode with heteroatom doping and ultrahigh surface area enabling enhanced capacitive behavior for potassium-ion hybrid capacitors

Potassium-ion hybrid capacitors(PIHCs)are widely regarded as highly promising energy storage devices,due to their exceptional energy density,impressive power density,and abundant potassium ***,restricted by the inherent capacitive storage mechanism,the carbon cathodes possess a much lower specific capacity than battery-type ***,designing high-performance carbon cathodes is extremely urgent for the development of ***,N,O codoped porous carbon(NOPC)was fabricated through the NaCl hard template method and combined KOH/melamine chemical activation technique,displaying the characteristics of abundant N/O content(4.7 at%/16.9 at%),ultrahigh specific surface area(3092 m^(2)g^(-1))and hierarchical pore *** designed NOPC cathode delivers a high specific capacity(164.4 mAh.g^(-1)at 0.05 A.g^(-1))and superior cyclability(95.1%retention ratio at 2 A·g^(-1)over 2500 cycles).Notably,the adjustable ratio of micropores to mesopores facilitates the achievement of the optimal bal-ance between capacity and rate ***,the pseudocapacitance can be further augmented through the incorporation of N/O functional *** expected,the graphite//NOPC based PIHC possesses a high energy density of 113 Wh·kg-at 747 W·kg^(-1)and excellent capacity retention of 84.4% fter 400 cycles at 1.0 A·g^(-1).This work introduces a novel strategy for designing carbon cathodes that enhances the electrochemical performance of PIHCs.

A Video Captioning Method by Semantic Topic-Guided Generation

In the video captioning methods based on an encoder-decoder,limited visual features are extracted by an encoder,and a natural sentence of the video content is generated using a ***,this kind ofmethod is dependent on a single video input source and few visual labels,and there is a problem with semantic alignment between video contents and generated natural sentences,which are not suitable for accurately comprehending and describing the video *** address this issue,this paper proposes a video captioning method by semantic topic-guided ***,a 3D convolutional neural network is utilized to extract the spatiotemporal features of videos during the ***,the semantic topics of video data are extracted using the visual labels retrieved from similar video *** the decoding,a decoder is constructed by combining a novel Enhance-TopK sampling algorithm with a Generative Pre-trained Transformer-2 deep neural network,which decreases the influence of“deviation”in the semantic mapping process between videos and texts by jointly decoding a baseline and semantic topics of video *** this process,the designed Enhance-TopK sampling algorithm can alleviate a long-tail problem by dynamically adjusting the probability distribution of the predicted ***,the experiments are conducted on two publicly used Microsoft Research Video Description andMicrosoft Research-Video to Text *** experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method outperforms several state-of-art ***,the performance indicators Bilingual Evaluation Understudy,Metric for Evaluation of Translation with Explicit Ordering,Recall Oriented Understudy for Gisting Evaluation-longest common subsequence,and Consensus-based Image Description Evaluation of the proposed method are improved by 1.2%,0.1%,0.3%,and 2.4% on the Microsoft Research Video Description dataset,and 0.1%,1.0%,0.1%,and 2.8% on the Microsoft Research-Video to Text dataset
