The role of primary cilia in mechanical transmission of osteocyte based on a 3D finite element model

The primary cilium,as a mechanical receptor of osteocytes,participates in the regulation of osteocyte ***,how the length of osteocyte primary cilia changes with fluid shear stress(FSS)are unclear,and how the mechanical transmission within osteocytes altered by primary cilia is not well understood ***,the ciliary length changes of osteocyte under 15dyn/cm2 of FSS were experimentally detected,and then 3D finite element models of osteocyte primary cilia containing the basal body and axoneme were *** results showed that(1)The ciliary length of the CON group,FSS 1h,and FSS 6h were 3.71±1.34μm,3.79±1.04μm,and 1.24±0.73μm respectively,indicating the different durations of FSS might lead to the adaptive changes of cilium *** calculations showed(2)when the ciliary length became shorter with the ciliary angle stayed the same,the deformation and stress of the cell membrane and membrane skeleton was ***,the deformation and stress of the cilia membrane,basal body,the rotation angles of basal body were decreased,and those of cytoplasm,cytoskeleton,actin cortex and nucleus were also decreased;(3)With the decrease of the ciliary angle,the deformation and stress of the cilia membrane,basal body,as well as the rotation angles of basal body were *** of the cytoplasm,cytoskeleton,actin cortex,and nucleus were also increased except the cell membrane and membrane *** calculation results suggested the length and angle of the primary cilia,the deformation and stress of intracellular structures in osteocyte were altered with ciliary basal body,indicated the connection between the basal body and cytoskeleton may be a key factor that affected the mechanical transport in osteocytes across the cell *** finally promoted the adaptive change of ciliary length under FSS.

目的:探究吉西他滨联合顺铂方案在蒽环、紫杉类药物治疗后复发性三阴性乳腺癌(TNBC)患者中的应用效果。方法:选取2019年1月~2021年1月期间某院收治的81例蒽环、紫杉类药物治疗后复发性TNBC患者作为研究对象,采用随机、单盲试验研究方法,依据随机数字表法分为A组(n=40)和B组(n=41)。A组患者给予注射用盐酸吉西他滨联合卡培他滨片治疗,B组患者给予注射用盐酸吉西他滨联合注射用顺铂治疗。比较两组临床疗效、血清肿瘤标志物[癌胚抗原(CEA)、糖类抗原153(CA153)、糖类抗原125(CA125)]水平变化、生活质量情况[欧洲癌症研究与治疗组织生命质量量表(EORTC QLQ-C30)]、不良反应发生情况及治疗后2年内患者的预后情况。结果:治疗后,B组治疗总有效率(82.93%)高于A组(60.00%,P0.05)。两组患者治疗期间不良反应总发生率比较无统计学差异(P>0.05)。B组患者2年内复发率(14.63%)低于A组(40.00%,P<0.05),中位无进展生存期[(6.65±1.45)个月]长于A组[(4.26±1.23)个月,P<0.05],稳定病例数(58.54%)高于A组(30.00%,P<0.05)。结论:与吉西他滨联合卡培他滨相比,吉西他滨联合顺铂治疗方案在蒽环、紫杉类药物治疗后复发性TNBC患者中临床疗效更佳,可有效降低患者血清肿瘤标志物水平,提高生活质量,改善预后。

Plasma-Enhanced Atomic Layer Deposition of Amorphous Ga_(2)O_(3) for Solar-Blind Photodetection

Wide-bandgap gallium oxide(Ga_(2)O_(3))is one of the most promising semiconductor materials for solar-blind(200 nm to 280 nm)*** its amorphous form,amorphous gallium oxide(a-Ga_(2)O_(3))maintains its intrinsic optoelectronic properties while can be prepared at a low growth temperature,thus it is compatible with Si integrated circuits(ICs)***,the a-Ga_(2)O_(3) film is directly deposited on pre-fabricated Au interdigital electrodes by plasma enhanced atomic layer deposition(PE-ALD)at a growth temperature of 250°*** stoichiometric a-Ga_(2)O_(3) thin film with a low defect density is achieved owing to the mild PE-ALD *** a result,the fabricated Au/a-Ga_(2)O_(3)/Au photodetector shows a fast time response,high responsivity,and excellent wavelength selectivity for solar-blind ***,an ultra-thin MgO layer is deposited by PE-ALD to passivate the Au/a-Ga_(2)O_(3)/Au interface,resulting in the responsivity of 788 A/W(under 254 nm at 10 V),a 250-nm-to-400-nm rejection ratio of 9.2×10^(3),and the rise time and the decay time of 32 ms and 6 ms,*** results demonstrate that the a-Ga_(2)O_(3) film grown by PE-ALD is a promising candidate for high-performance solar-blind photodetection and potentially can be integrated with Si ICs for commercial production.

Effect of swirling flow on platelet concentration distribution in small-caliber artificial grafts and end-to-end anastomoses

Platelet concentration near the blood vessel wall is one of the major factors in the adhesion of platelets to the *** our previous studies,it was found that swirling flows could suppress platelet adhesion in small-caliber artificial grafts and end-to-end *** order to better understand the beneficial effect of the swirling flow,we numerically analyzed the near-wall concentration distribution of platelets in a straight tube and a sudden tubular expansion tube under both swirling flow and normal flow *** numerical models were created based on our previous experimental *** simulation results revealed that when compared with the normal flow,the swirling flow could significantly reduce the near-wall concentration of platelets in both the straight tube and the expansion *** present numerical study therefore indicates that the reduction in platelet adhesion under swirling flow conditions in small-caliber arterial grafts,or in end-to-end anastomoses as observed in our previous experimental study,was possibly through a mechanism of platelet transport,in which the swirling flow reduced the near-wall concentration of platelets.

Monogamy and polygamy for the generalized W-class states using unified-(q,s)entropy

We describe the entanglement distribution and restricted shareability of the multipartite generalized W-class states and their reduced density matrix under arbitrary partitions by using monogamy and polygamy relation based on the unified-(q,s)***,we provide an analytical formula of unified-(q,s)entanglement(UE)and an analytical lower bound of unified-(q,s)entanglement of assistance(UEo A)for a reduced density matrix of a generalized W-class ***,we use these two analytical formulas to derive the monogamy and polygamy inequalities for a reduced density matrix of a qudit generalized W-class(GW)*** establish two partition-dependent residual entanglements based on the new monogamy relation,which is helpful to obtain a comprehensive analysis of entanglement dynamics of generalized W-class ***,we investigate tighter monogamy and polygamy relations based on the power ofαth(α≥0)for UE andβth(β≥0)for UEo A,*** results show that the entanglement distribution characteristics of generalized W-class states satisfying stronger constraints can be described more accurately.

Construction of the underlying circRNA-miRNA-mRNA regulatory network and a new diagnostic model in ulcerative colitis by bioinformatics analysis

BACKGROUND Circular RNAs(circRNAs)are involved in the pathogenesis of many diseases through competing endogenous RNA(ceRNA)regulatory *** To investigate a circRNA-related ceRNA regulatory network and a new predictive model by circRNA to understand the diagnostic mechanism of circRNAs in ulcerative colitis(UC).METHODS We obtained gene expression profiles of circRNAs,miRNAs,and mRNAs in UC from the Gene Expression Omnibus *** circRNA-miRNA-mRNA network was constructed based on circRNA-miRNA and miRNA-mRNA *** enrichment analysis was performed to identify the biological mechanisms involved in *** identified the most relevant differential circRNAs for diagnosing UC and constructed a new predictive nomogram,whose efficacy was tested with the C-index,receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC),and decision curve analysis(DCA).RESULTS A circRNA-miRNA-mRNA regulatory network was obtained,containing 12 circRNAs,three miRNAs,and 38 *** optimal prognostic-related differentially expressed circRNAs,hsa_circ_0085323 and hsa_circ_0036906,were included to construct a predictive *** model showed good discrimination,with a C-index of 1(>0.9,high accuracy).ROC and DCA suggested that the nomogram had a beneficial diagnostic *** This novel predictive nomogram incorporating hsa_circ_0085323 and hsa_circ_0036906 can be conveniently used to predict the risk of *** circRNa-miRNA-mRNA network in UC could be more clinically significant.

Black hole evaporation and its remnants with the generalized uncertainty principle including a linear term

In recent years,researchers have investigated the evaporation of Schwarzschild black holes using various forms of the generalized uncertainty principle(GUP),metric quantum correction,and noncommutative geometry,***,there are differences between the GUP correction and the other two methods in terms of describing the later stages of black hole ***,some studies argue that the GUP with a negative parameter cannot effectively correct black hole evaporation,while others contend that the positivity or negativity of the GUP parameters should not affect the correction *** the above into consideration,we reconsider black hole evaporation with the generalized uncertainty principle including a linear term(LGUP),and examine the case of negative *** results indicate that the evaporation behavior of both Schwarzschild black holes and Reissner–Nordstr?m black holes,under LGUP correction,is consistent with the results of metric quantum correction and non-commutative ***,the negative parameter LGUP can also effectively correct for black hole evaporation.

A probabilistic generative model for tracking multi-knowledge concept mastery probability

Knowledge tracing aims to track students’knowledge status over time to predict students’future performance *** a real environment,teachers expect knowledge tracing models to provide the interpretable result of knowledge *** chain-based knowledge tracing(MCKT)models,such as Bayesian Knowledge Tracing,can track knowledge concept mastery probability over ***,as the number of tracked knowledge concepts increases,the time complexity of MCKT predicting student performance increases exponentially(also called explaining away problem).When the number of tracked knowledge concepts is large,we cannot utilize MCKT to track knowledge concept mastery probability over *** addition,the existing MCKT models only consider the relationship between students’knowledge status and problems when modeling students’responses but ignore the relationship between knowledge concepts in the same *** address these challenges,we propose an inTerpretable pRobAbilistiC gEnerative moDel(TRACED),which can track students’numerous knowledge concepts mastery probabilities over *** solve explain away problem,we design long and short-term memory(LSTM)-based networks to approximate the posterior distribution,predict students’future performance,and propose a heuristic algorithm to train LSTMs and probabilistic graphical model *** better model students’exercise responses,we proposed a logarithmic linear model with three interactive strategies,which models students’exercise responses by considering the relationship among students’knowledge status,knowledge concept,and *** conduct experiments with four real-world datasets in three knowledge-driven *** experimental results show that TRACED outperforms existing knowledge tracing methods in predicting students’future performance and can learn the relationship among students,knowledge concepts,and problems from students’exercise *** also conduct several case *** case studies show that
