MAKAROV and Trontelj first reported the WO3-based low voltage varistor material doped with MnO2 and Na2CO3 in 1994. This material is worth further study because of its low threshold voltage （ 2O3 can obviously improve the nonlinearity of WO3-MnO2-Na2CO3 series with nonlinear coefficient α≈ 2,and a may be higher than 5 when the amount of Co2O3 is 1% （mole percentage）. However, the nonlinear characteristic almost vanished when 0.5% Al2O3 was doped into this system at room temperature, and Al2O3 showed very stable

Background： Virescence, as a recogniz.ble phenotype available for research on chloroplast development and in the early development stage of cotton, is not only photosynthesis but also for heterosis exploitation in cotton Methods： In current study, for fine mapping of virescent-1 （V1） in cotton, three populations with a total of 5 678 individuals were constructed using T582 which has the virescent trait. Tobacco rattle virus, TRV1 and TRV2 （pYL156）, were used as vectors for the virus-induced gene silencing （VlGS） assay. Results： The V1 gene was fine-mapped to a 20 kb interval on chromosome 20 of tetraploid cotton. We identified only one candidate gene with four single nucleotide polymorphisms between parents, among which the single nucleotide polymorphism at the position of 1 082 base pair caused the change of amino acid residue from Arg （3-79） to Lys （]-582）. The relative expression of the candidate gene in virescent plants was extensively lower than that in normal plants. Nullification of the gene by VlGS significantly turned the green leaf of normal cotton plants into yellow. We named this candidate gene as GhRVL. Conclusions： This study will facilitate the further research on virescent formation, and will be useful for breeding of hybrid cottons.

Objective: To investigate the relation of transfergrowth factor （TGF-β1） and β-glucuronidase （β-GCD） on the occurrence and progress of ***: The expression of TGF-β1 and β-GCD in thepancreatic cancer tissue and normal pancreatic tissuewas determined synchronously using ABC method ***: The percentage of TGF-β1 positive cells wassignificantly higher in pancreatic cancer tissue （43.8%±5.2%） than in adjacent pancreatic tissue （28.7%±3.6%, P1. The percentage of β-GCD positivecells was also significantly higher in the pancreaticcancer tissue （62.5%±4.1%） than in the adjacentpancreatic tissue （33.5%±2.8%, P1was significantly correlated with the expression of β-GCD in pancreatic cancer ***: The genesis of pancreatic cancer resultsfrom multi-factor, multi-step and multi-gene varia-tion. The synchronous detection of TGF-β1 and β-GCD helps to determine the malignant degree oftumors and the prognosis of patients with such disease.

Increasing evidences suggest that the methyltransferase NSUN2 catalyz.s 5-methylcytosine (m5C) modifications on viral RNAs, which are essential for the replication of various viruses. Despite the function of m5C deposition is well characteriz.d, other potential roles of NSUN2 in regulating viral replication remain largely unknown. In this study, the m5C modified residues catalyz.d by NSUN2 on enterovirus 71 (EV71) RNAs were mapped. NSUN2, along with m5C modifications, played multiple roles during the EV71 life cycle. Functional m5C modified nucleotides increased the translational efficiency and stability of EV71 RNAs. Additionally, NSUN2 was found to target the viral protein VP1 for binding and promote its stability by inhibiting the ubiquitination. Furthermore, both viral replication and pathogenicity in mice were largely attenuated when functional m5C residues were mutated. Taken together, this study characteriz.s distinct pathways mediated by NSUN2 in regulating EV71 replication, and highlights the importance of its catalyz.d m5C modifications on EV71 RNAs for the viral replication and pathogenicity. © 2024 The Authors

Density order is usually a consequence of the competition between long-range and short-range *** we report a density ordered superfluid emergent from a homogeneous Mott insulator due to the competition between frustrations and local *** transition is found in a Bose–Hubbard model on a frustrated triangle lattice with an extra pairing ***,we find a quantum phase transition between two different density ordered superfluids,which is beyond the Landau–Ginz.urg(LG)paradigm.A U(1)symmetry is emergent at the critical point,while the symmetry in each density ordered superfluid is z.(2)×z.(3).We call the transition a‘shamrock transition’,due to its degenerate ground state in the parameter space being a shamrock-like curve rather than a circle in an LG-type *** low energy theories are established for the two transitions mentioned above and we find their resemblance and differences with clock models.

The tell tail is usually placed on the triangular sail to display the running state of the air flow on the sail *** is of great significance to make accurate judgement on the drift of the tell tail of the sailboat during sailing for the best sailing *** it is difficult for sailors to keep an eye for a long time on the tell sail for accurate judging its changes,affected by strong sunlight and visual *** this case,we adopt computer vision technology in hope of helping the sailors judge the changes of the tell tail in ease with *** paper proposes for the first time a method to classify sailboat tell tails based on deep learning and an expert guidance system,supported by a sailboat tell tail classification data set on the expert guidance system of interpreting the tell tails states in different sea wind conditions,including the feature extraction *** the expression capabilities that vary with the computational features in different visual tasks,the paper focuses on five tell tail computing features,which are recoded by an automatic encoder and classified by a SVM *** experimental samples were randomly divided into five groups,and four groups were selected from each group as the training set to train the *** remaining one group was used as the test set for *** highest resolution value of the ResNet network was 80.26%.To achieve better operational results on the basis of deep computing features obtained through the ResNet network in the *** method can be used to assist the sailors in making better judgement about the tell tail changes during sailing.

The disk around MWC 480 has shown multiple substructures in both dust and gas observations,possibly suggesting ongoing planet formation in *** this paper,we explore the gas kinematics of the MWC 480 disk by analyz.ng the archival Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array observations of^(12)CO(J=2-1),^(13)CO(J=2-1),and C^(18)O(J=2-1).By modeling the line-of-sight velocities,inferred from the Doppler shifts of the emission lines,we are able to decompose the three-dimensional(3D)velocity field of the disk into rotational,radial,and vertical *** analysis reveals the presence of large-scale gas flows in the(r,z.***,we identify potential meridional flows across various heights as traced by all three CO isotopologues in the 80–120 au region,possibly associated with ongoing planet formation activities in this ***,we find upward flows near 200 au for all three CO isotopologues,which may point to the presence of disk winds.
