Multifield coupling is frequently.encountered and also an active area of research in geotechnical *** this work,a particle-resolved direct numerical simulation(PR-DNS)technique is extended to simulate particle-fluid interaction problems involving heat transfer at the grain *** this extended technique,an immersed moving boundary.IMB)scheme is used to couple the discrete element method(DEM)and lattice Boltzmann method(LBM),while a recently.proposed Dirichlet-ty.e thermal boundary.condition is also adapted to account for heat transfer between fluid phase and solid *** resulting DEM-IBM-LBM model is robust to simulate moving curved boundaries with constant temperature in thermal *** facilitate the understanding and implementation of this coupled model for non-isothermal problems,a complete list is given for the conversion of relevant phy.ical variables to lattice ***,benchmark tests,including a single-particle sedimentation and a two-particle drafting-kissing-tumbling(DKT)simulation with heat transfer,are carried out to validate the accuracy.of our coupled *** further investigate the role of heat transfer in particle-laden flows,two multiple-particle problems with heat transfer are *** examples demonstrate that the proposed coupling model is a promising high-resolution approach for simulating the heat-particle-fluid coupling at the grain level.

Linear-Quadratic Pareto Cooperative Game for Mean-Field Backward Stochastic Sy.tem

This paper focuses on a Pareto cooperative differential game with a linear mean-field backward stochastic sy.tem and a quadratic form cost functional. Based on a weighted sum optimality.method, the Pareto game is equivalently.converted to an optimal control problem. In the first place,the feedback form of Pareto optimal strategy.is derived by.virtue of decoupling technology. which is represented by.four Riccati equations, a mean-field forward stochastic differential equation(MF-FSDE),and a mean-field backward stochastic differential equation(MF-BSDE). In addition, the corresponding Pareto optimal solution is further obtained. Finally. the author solves a problem in mathematical finance to illustrate the application of the theoretical results.

Repeatability.interocular correlation and agreement of optic nerve head vessel density.in healthy.ey.s:a sweptsource optical coherence tomographic angiography.study

AIM:To assess the repeatability.interocular correlation,and agreement of quantitative swept-source optical coherence tomography.angiography.OCTA)optic nerve head(ONH)parameters in healthy.***:Thir ty.three healthy.subjects were *** ONH of both ey.s were imaged four times by.a swept-source-OCTA using a 3 mm×3 mm scanning *** of the radial peripapillary.capillary.were analy.ed by.a customized Matlab program,and the vessel density.fractal dimension,and vessel diameter index were *** repeatability.of the four scans was determined by.the intraclass correlation coefficient(ICC).The most well-centered optic disc from the four repeated scans was then selected for the interocular correlation and agreement analy.is using the Pearson correlation coefficient,ICC and Bland-Altman ***:All swept-source-OCTA ONH parameters exhibited certain repeatability.with ICC>0.760 and coefficient of variation(CoV)≤7.301%.The obvious interocular correlation was observed for papillary.vessel density.ICC=0.857),vessel diameter index(ICC=0.857)and fractal dimension(ICC=0.906),while circumpapillary.vessel density.exhibited moderate interocular correlation(ICC=0.687).Bland-Altman plots revealed an agreement range of-5.26%to 6.21%for circumpapillary.vessel ***:OCTA ONH parameters demonstrate good repeatability.in healthy.*** interocular correlations of papillary.vessel density.fractal dimension and vessel diameter index are high,but the correlation for circumpapillary.vessel density.is moderate.

In this paper,the dy.amics(including shadowing property.expansiveness,topological stability.and entropy.of several ty.es of upper semi-continuous set-valued maps are mainly.considered from differentiable dy.amical sy.tems points of *** is shown that(1)if f is a hy.erbolic endomorphism then for eachε>0 there exists a C^(1)-neighborhood U of f such that the induced set-valued map F_(f,U)has theε-shadowing property.and moreover,if f is an expanding endomorphism then there exists a C^(1)-neighborhood U of f such that the induced set-valued map F_(f,U)has the Lipschitz shadowing property.(2)when a set-valued map F is generated by.finite expanding endomorphisms,it has the shadowing property.and moreover,if the collection of the generators has no coincidence point then F is expansive and hence is topologically.stable;(3)if f is an expanding endomorphism then for eachε>0 there exists a C^(1)-neighborhood U of f such that h(F_(f,U,ε))=h(f);(4)when F is generated by.finite expanding endomorphisms with no coincidence point,the entropy.formula of F is ***,the dy.amics of the set-valued maps based on discontinuous maps on the interval are also considered.

A new liquid membrane diffusion model for characterizing the adsorption kinetics of europium by.using a continuous measurement of adsorption platform

To explore the kinetic adsorption under continuous and nonequilibrium states, an integration of continuous measurement and adsorption platform kinetics method was proposed, which was initially.called the ICM-AP kinetics method, and a corresponding kinetic adsorption experimental method was developed. Adsorption experiments of europium(Eu) on Ca-bentonite,Na-bentonite, and the D231 cation exchange resin were performed using the ICM-AP kinetics method and continuous measurements. Because the kinetic experimental results observed in this study.were different from those of traditional batch adsorption data, pseudo-first-order or pseudo-second-order kinetic models were unsuitable for fitting the experimental ***, a liquid membrane diffusion(LMD) model was developed based on the assumption of simultaneous adsorption/desorption to discuss the mechanism of kinetic adsorption. The kinetic adsorption mechanism was also studied by.using *** results indicated that the proposed adsorption model can fit the experimental data more suitably. and the adsorption/desorption behaviors of Eu on bentonite and the D231 resin were simultaneously.observed, suggesting that the adsorption kinetics of Eu(Ⅲ) was mainly.dominated by.hy.rated Eu(Ⅲ) ions on the liquid membrane.

Device design principles and bioelectronic applications for flexible organic electrochemical transistors

Organic electrochemical transistors(OECTs) exhibit significant potential for applications in healthcare and human-machine interfaces, due to their tunable sy.thesis, facile deposition, and excellent biocompatibility. Expanding OECTs to the fexible devices will significantly.facilitate stable contact with the skin and enable more possible bioelectronic applications. In this work,we summarize the device phy.ics of fexible OECTs, aiming to offer a foundational understanding and guidelines for material selection and device architecture. Particular attention is paid to the advanced manufacturing approaches, including photolithography.and printing techniques, which establish a robust foundation for the commercialization and large-scale fabrication. And abundantly.demonstrated examples ranging from biosensors, artificial sy.apses/neurons, to bioinspired nervous sy.tems are summarized to highlight the considerable prospects of smart healthcare. In the end, the challenges and opportunities are proposed for fexible OECTs. The purpose of this review is not only.to elaborate on the basic design principles of fexible OECTs, but also to act as a roadmap for further exploration of wearable OECTs in advanced bio-applications.

A guidance and control design with reduced information for a dual-spin stabilized projectile

In this paper,an integrated guidance and control method based on an adaptive path-following controller is proposed to control a spin-stabilized projectile with only.translational motion information under the constraint of an actuator,uncertainties in aerody.amic parameters and measurements,and control sy.tem *** to the fairly.high rotation speed,the dy.amic model of this missile is strongly.nonlinear,uncertain and coupled in pitch,y.w and roll channels.A theoretical equivalent resultant force and uncertainty.compensation method are comprehensively.used to realize decoupling of pitch and *** response to the strong nonlinear and time-vary.ng characteristics of the dy.amic sy.tem,the quasi-linear model whose parameters are obtained by.interpolation of points selected as the segmentation points in the trajectory.envelope,is used for calculation in each *** cope with the sy.tem uncertainty.caused by.model approximation,parameter uncertainty.and ballistic interference,an extended state estimator is used to compensate the output feedback according to the test ballistic *** order to improve the tracking efficiency.and ensure the tracking error convergence with only.translational motion information,the virtual guide point,whose derivative is deduced according to the Ly.punov principle,is calculated in real time according to the projection relationship between the real-time position and the reference trajectory.and a virtual line-of-sight angle and the backstepping method are used for the design of the guidance and control *** order to avoid the influence of control input saturation on the guidance and control performance due to the actuator limitation and improve the robustness of the sy.tem,an anti-saturation compensator is designed according to the two-step *** feasibility.and effectiveness of the path-following controller is verified through closed-loop flight simulations with measurement,control,and condition *** result

Iatrogenic extrahepatic bile duct injury.in 182 patients: causes and management

Objective: To describe the causes and treatment ofiatrogenic bile duct injury.caused by.***: 182 patients with iatrogenic extrahepaticbile duct injury.from 4 university.hospitals of Chinawere reviewed. Details of primary.cholecy.tectomy.biliary.reconstruction as well as postoperative ma-nagement were recorded. All patients were followedup for at least 6 months (6 months to 9 y.ars, medi-an 3.5 y.ars). The adequacy.of repair was assessedby.regular evaluation of the patients clinical statusand liver function variables. Hepatobiliary.B-ultra-sonography.was used routinely.in the follow up of pa-tients, and magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatog-raphy.was applied in the patients suggestive of ***: In 152 patients, bile duct injury.happenedduring open cholecy.tectomy. and in 30 patients dur-ing laparoscopic cholecy.tectomy. All the injuries de-veloped during anterograde cholecy.tectomy.(at theCalot’s triangle). All the patients with these injuriesunderwent choledochocholedochostomy.or Roux-en-y.holedochojejunostomy.with good results (161 pa-tients), recurrent stricture (11), and death (10).Conclusions: During cholecy.tectomy. the Calot’s tri-angle should be identified anatomically. but retro-grade cholecy.tectomy.is the optimal choice. Bileduct injury.should be discovered as soon as possibleand be managed timely. Different operative methodsare optional according to the degree of injury.and thepostoperative period.
