A group parameter approach using ＂total organic halogen＂ is effective for monitoring gaseous organic halogen compounds, including fluorine, chlorine, and bromine compounds, generated from combustion. We described the use of barrier-discharge radiofrequency- helium-plasma/atomic emission spectrometry, for the detection of semi- and low-volatile organic halogen compounds （SLVOXs）, which can be collected by CarbotrapTM adsorbents and analyzed using thermal desorpfion. The optimal carder gas flow rates at the injection and desorption lines were established to be 100 mL/min. The detection range for SLVOXs in the gaseous samples was from 10 ng to tens of micrograms. Measuring F was more difficult than measuring C1 or Br, because the wavelength of F is close to that of air. The barrier- discharge radiofrequency-helium-plasma/atomic emission spectrometry measured from 85% to 103% of the SLVOXs in the gas sample. It has been found that Carbotrap B is appropriate for high-boiling-point compounds, and Carbotrap C is suitable for the determination of organic halogen compounds with lower boiling points, in the range 200-230℃. Under optimal analysis conditions, a chlorine- containing plastic was destroyed using different oxygen concentrations. Lower oxygen concentrations resulted in the production of lower amounts of organic halogen compounds.

In this paper,we introduce an effective scatter correction method based on single scatter simulation for the new PET scanner,which accounts for the full 3D scatter *** the results from Monte Carlo simulations,we implement a new scale method with special concentration on scatter events from outside the axial FOV and multiple scatter *** effects of scatter correction are investigated and evaluated by phantom experiments;the results show good improvements in quantitative accuracy and contrast of the images,even for large objects.

Banana bunchy top virus （BBTV）（Nanoviridae： Babuvirus） is transmitted by aphids of the genus Pentalonia in a circulative manner. The cellular mechanisms by which BBTV translocates from the anterior midgut to the salivary gland epithelial tissues are not understood. Here, we used multiple fluorescent markers to study the distribution and the cellular localization of early and late endosomes, macropinosomes, lysosomes, microtubules, actin filaments, and lipid raft subdomains in the gut and principal salivary glands ofPentalonia nigronervosa. We applied colabeling assays, to colocalize BBTV viral particles with these cellular compartments and structures. Our results suggest that multiple potential cellular processes, including clathrin- and caveolae-mediated endocytosis and lipid rafts, may not be involved in BBTV internalization.

Ionic liquids (ILs) have received a great deal of attention because they are less-volatile, less-flammable, have low toxicity and unique solubility for many organic and inorganic materials, and these properties allow them to be used in various fields of sustainable sciences. Remarkable progress in the science of ILs has been accomplished during the past two decades;the number of publications of ILs reached more than 90,000 since 1999 to be present [1]. ILs are nowwell recognized as essential players in the fields of environmental benign synthesis, catalysts, extraction, electrochemistry, and biotechnology, and they also attract much attention as a key technology to promote the spread of renewable energy.

With the decline in the most fisheries resources in the Yellow Sea,the yellow goosefish Lophius litulon has increased in commercial and ecological importance in recent *** studied the length distribution,length-weight relationship,age composition,growth pattern,mortality,and exploitation rates of the yellow goosefish in the Yellow *** length(TL)of females and males ranged from 173 to 582 mm and 178 to 500 mm,*** length-weight relationships were also estimated for females and *** classes from 2 to 4 years predominated in the *** von Bertalanffy growth function(VBGF),estimated based on non-linear least-squares methodology,showed significant differences between *** attained a greater estimated asymptotic total length(765 mm TL)compared to males(579 mm TL).The VBGF did not differ significantly between stocks of the northern Yellow Sea and the southern Yellow *** natural instantaneous mortality rate(M)ranged from 0.25/a to 0.33/a based on four age-and length-based *** instantaneous mortality rate(Z)of total samples calculated by the age-based catch curve method was 0.591/a and the average fishing mortality(F)was 0.30/*** exploitation rate(E)was approximately 0.5,indicating that the population of *** in the Yellow Sea may be *** results provide a reference for the present status of *** and information for the management.

The elasto-plastic finite element analyses for an interface crack in dissimilar material, based on the crack energy density (CED) concept, are investigated in mode I loading condition. It is confirmed that the values of CED almost remain stable when the notch radius rho is sufficiently small, both in elastic and elasto-plastic case. Numerical results for both elastic and elasto-plastic cases show that under the mode I loading condition, when the crack propagates to the more stiff material with a small angle, the total CED will become larger than that along the interface. If the clack heads into the more compliant material, the CED will become less than that along the interface.

Solar radiation pressure(SRP)impinging on spacecraft is usually regarded as a disturbance for attitude motion,but it can be harnessed to solve the very problem it *** SRP control is possible with solar radiation powered thin-film devices such as reflectivity control devices or liquid crystal devices with reflective *** radiation pressure(TRP)can likewise be used to solve flight attitude problems caused by SRP,TRP,or other *** on solar cells can be controlled by switching regulators under the control of them,resulting in temperature *** SRP/TRP controls are free from mechanisms,such as reaction wheels,and thus they do not produce internal *** addition,the magnitude of SRP/TRP torques is generally much smaller than internal disturbance torques produced by reaction wheels,which creates a potential for precision far beyond that achieved with mechanical *** paper summarizes how SRP/TRP can be used by means of numerical simulations of typical control *** usefulness of this mechanism-free attitude control is verified for future use on both Earth orbiting satellites and interplanetary spacecraft including solar sails.
