Human primed pluripotent stem cells are capable of generating all the embryonic ***,their extraembryonic trophectoderm potentials are *** remains unclear how to expand their developmental potential to trophectoderm *** we show that transient treatment with a cocktail of small molecule epigenetic modulators imparts trophectoderm lineage potentials to human primed pluripotent stem cells while preserving their embryonic *** chemically treated cells can generate trophectoderm-like cells and downstream trophoblast stem cells,diverging into syncytiotrophoblast and extravillous trophoblast *** and CUT&Tag analyses reveal that these induced cells share transcriptional profiles with in vivo trophectoderm and cytotrophoblast,and exhibit reduced H3K27me3 modification at gene loci specific to trophoblast lineages compared with primed pluripotent *** exploration highlighted the critical roles of epigenetic modulators HDAC2,EZH1/2,and KDM5s in the activation of trophoblast lineage *** findings demonstrate that transient epigenetic resetting activates unrestricted lineage potential in human primed pluripotent stem cells,and offer new mechanistic insights into human trophoblast lineage specification and in vitro models for studying placental development and related disorders.

＜正＞Objective Depression is a devastating neurobiological illness that afflicts an estimated 12-15%of the population at some point in life,and a variety of physiological and psychological stress may lead to *** emerging literature implicates a role for pro-inflammatory cytokines in *** this study,we observed the expression of proinflammatory cytokines including IL-1,IL-6,IL-18,TNF-αand TGF-P in the different brain regions and spleen in the chronic unpredictable stressed rats and analyzed the relationship between depression-like behaviors and the dysregulation of the pro-inflammatory *** One group of Wistar rats was exposed to a series of mild stressors such as periods of food and water deprivation,continuous lighting and stroboflash,Meanwhile,the stressors were applied continuously and randomly for 4 *** sucrose preference test and the locomotor activity were used to assess depression-like *** production of pro-inflammatory cytokines in hippocampus,cortex,hypothalamus,and spleen were determined with Reverse Transcription-Polymerase Chain Reaction（RT-PCR）.Results Chronic stress significantly decreased the sucrose preference,locomotor activity and body weight of stressed ***-6 and LL-18 mRNA levels were increased remarkably in the hippocampus;TNF-αmRNA level was elevated in the hypothalamus and cortex;IL-1 and IL-18 mRNA levels were also significantly higher in the spleen in the stressed *** The chronic unpredictable stress induced the overexpression of pro-inflammatory cytokines in some brain regions and spleen,and the hyperactivity of the pro-inflammatory factors may play a role in the pathogenesis of depression.

The size of pores and throats is at the nano- meter scale in tight oil and shale gas zones, and the resistivity of these reservoirs is very high, so the reservoirs show more dielectric properties than conductivity proper- ties. The conductive and dielectric characteristics of a parallel plate capacitor full of fresh water, NaCl solutions, and solid dielectrics, for example, sands are investigated in this paper, and the capacitance data of the non-gas capacitor are measured at different salinities and frequencies by a spectrum analyzer. The experimental results illustrate that the capacitance of this kind of capacitor is directly pro- portional to the salinity of the solutions and inversely proportional to the measuring frequency, the same as a vacuum parallel plate capacitor. The remarkable phenom- enon, however, is that the capacitance is inversely pro- portional to the square of the distance between two plates. The specific characteristic of this capacitor is different from the conventional parallel plate capacitor. In order to explain this phenomenon, the paper proposed a new concept, named ＂single micro ion capacitor＂, and established a novel model to describe the characteristics of this particular capacitor. Based on this new model, the theoretical capacitance value of the single micro ion capacitor is calculated, and its polarization and relaxation mechanisms are analyzed.

In this study, the effect of extreme laser fields on the α decay process of ground-state even–even nuclei was *** the deformed Gamow-like model, we found that state-of-the-art lasers can cause a slight change in the α decay penetration probability of most nuclei. In addition, we studied the correlation between the rate of change of the α decay penetration probability and angle between the directions of the laser electric field and α particle emission for different nuclei. Based on this correlation, the average effect of extreme laser fields on the half-life of many nuclei with arbitrary α particle emission angles was calculated. The calculations show that the laser suppression and promotion effects on the α decay penetration probability of the nuclei population with completely random α particle-emission directions are not completely *** remainder led to a change in the average penetration probability of the nuclei. Furthermore, the possibility of achieving a higher average rate of change by altering the spatial shape of the laser is explored. We conclude that circularly polarized lasers may be helpful in future experiments to achieve a more significant average rate of change of the α decay half-life of the nuclei population.

The prediction of solitary wave run-up has important practical significance in coastal and ocean engineering, but the calculation precision is limited in the existing models. For improving the calculation precision, a solitary wave run-up calculation model was established based on artificial neural networks in this study. A back-propagation （BP） network with one hidden layer was adopted and modified with the additional momentum method and the auto-adjusting learning factor. The model was applied to calculation of solitary wave run-up. The correlation coefficients between the neural network model results and the experimental values was 0.996 5. By comparison with the correlation coefficient of 0.963 5, between the Synolakis formula calculation results and the experimental values, it is concluded that the neural network model is an effective method for calculation and analysis of solitary wave ran-up.

Flip buckets are commonly used to discharge flow away from a hydraulic structure into the downstream to dissipate energy.A new leak-floor flip bucket is presented,making the ski-jump water jet a typical long-narrow *** on the model experiments and numerical simulation,the flow pattern,formation process and mechanism of the leak-floor flip bucket are *** results show that cross section flow shape develops from the"Y-type"to"|-type",and this is because the natural pressure difference is generated when water flows through the leak-floor area and moves transversely from both sides to the *** from the slit-type flip bucket with sidewall contraction,the leak-floor flit bucket makes the water jet narrow and long without high pressure on the side walls of the flip *** the same jet length condition,the maximum sidewall pressure of the slit-type is 4.67 times that of the leak-floor flip *** effects of flow discharge on the jet length are less significant for the leak-floor bucket than for the slit-type bucket.

BACKGROUND Angiomyolipoma(AML),the most common benign tumor of the kidney,is usually composed of dysmorphic blood vessels,smooth muscle,and mature adipose *** our knowledge,AML with cystic degeneration has rarely been *** degeneration,hemorrhage,and a lack of fat bring great challenges to the *** SUMMARY A 60-year-old man with hypertension presented with a 5-year history of cystic mass in his left *** fell 2 mo ago.A preoperative computed tomography(CT)scan showed a mixed-density cystic lesion without macroscopic fat density,the size of which had increased compared with before,probably due to hemorrhage caused by a *** nephrectomy was *** studies revealed that the lesion mainly consisted of tortuous,ectatic,and thick-walled blood vessels,mature adipose tissue,and smooth muscle-like spindle cells arranged around the abnormal blood *** tumor cells exhibited positivity for human melanoma black-45,Melan-A,smooth muscle actin,calponin,S-100,and neuron-specific enolase,rather than estrogen receptor,progesterone receptor,CD68,and *** Ki-67 labeling index was less than 5%.The final diagnosis was a fat-poor renal AML(RAML)with prominent cystic *** When confronting a large renal cystic mass,RAML should be included in the differential diagnosis.
